- After being disappointed by Overwatch 2, I played the original free to play Overwatch, aka PALADINS! It was my first time, so let's see how I liked it!

Paladins had rammatra before overwatch did it's the vine lady KEKW
it's uncanny how fast he picked up on the mechanics tbh. I'd unironically watch a macro paladins series.
Yeah for real - I absolutely would. He clearly picked up on Andro and comboing abilities way faster than most people do - I'd say the majority of low level / new Andro players I see either never float or never block, and also miss WAY more than he did so mechanically he was leaps and bounds above average.
Buying all champs and making a ranked series would be a blast to watch

nah the games mechanics are really easy and its the same for pretty much everyone who isn't new to gaming
I mean this is overwatch 0.5
Another thing i like about paladins is the skins change the characters completely apart from how they function, different lore, voice lines, and personalities
I realized this first with the Krampus skin for Terminus, when he says “remember, no bloodshed” before the match starts.
They do all of that and they're still cheaper than the recolors in ow lmao
Yeah I get kind of annoyed by that, because it can be confusing him firing up against them they look completely different. At least the models are relatively the same.
@@cloberlobster2276 its kinda about getting used to the characters, I mean there are only 2 axe wielding characters in the game no matter what skin they use for example.
Yesss, imagine if OW got actual Saitama, Genos and Tatsumaki instead of the crappy 20$ cosplays
Macro could bank making a "for noobs" video for all the characters in this game. Not to mention all cards that can really change the play style for each character.
Plus, if a larger name like him played paladins, it might actually get the necessary funds!

played this game because i couldn't afford overwatch and I fell in love with the unique customization that you have with your playstyle and the quantity of character

I've known Paladins for a long time now.
It was never one of my main games and while it is not perfect, it definitely has some charm and fun to it!
It would be sick if you made some ___ For Noobs… for this game
every vid would be like an hour long for all the cards, talents and item combinations

for example: "Pick this for more health and this to replenish another ability."

There's a firing range where you can play every champion so you can test them before buying them

Im thinking of trying paladins again bc since starting overwatch my playstyle has completely changed, my paladins main used to be drogoz back in 2019 and now my OW main is zen
@@hwalnut7202 what I love about paladins is the flexibility like ying usually use her summons to heal Allie’s but a change to the build and you got a suicide squad of summons instead
Something that's important is no one uses the Paladins Voice Chat unless you're in ranked. And even in ranked, it's still a once in a blue moon experience to see someone using it.
As someone who remembers when Cassie had a normal bow and not crossbow this game deserves a lot of love it spawned with bits of tf2 and Overwatch while still having its own uniqueness to it so seeing someone like macro play it is huge
You even get a free tf2 skin when you play on pc with new voice lines and all
I would love to see more Paladins content and even wish for you to bring others along to embrace Paladins' shenanigans.

I remember playing when Maeve just came out and oh my god is she everywhere. She's fun to play, she's powerful, she's just pure awesome. I remember spending hours on the firing range trying out combos.

the game is suck* (lol) and over time had even worse changes than OW and that's truly an achievement.
@Jarczenko that's your opinion. personally, I enjoy paladins more. there's much more customization, and there are only like 5 devs working on it. compared to OW which has over 100. gotta admit there are some bugs that are annoying, but with such a small team that's expected. once more people start playing it then they can pay more devs, which will fix the bugs and make the game a ton better :)

Ive been playing this game for 3 years, id definitley reccomend giving betty, saati, pip and fernando a shot
Betty is a high mobility grenade spam, saati is a nimble ground based pistol character, pip is an aoe offensive support and fernando is just a guy with a shield and flamethrower which makes for a really fun combo

Been playing for a long time and I always love how this game always feels like whoever you are playing is OP, whether they came out at launch or yesterday
I remember I used to play this game from 2017 to 2019 and Androxus was my favourite character too
Glad to see more people checking out the game! Bit of advice, a lot of fun you can get out of Paladins comes from experimenting with loadouts, so try experimenting in the shooting range with each character to come up with your own custom playstyle :)

Man this is making me want to play Paladins again. I remember playing Skye and Koga back in the day, it was so much fun!
I play OW so much but seeing this brought back so many memories
Skye was so op at launch and several months with her bomb ult and dmg
I forgot the scientist tank hero but I remember his ult was so op because you could easily launch a whole team off a map
I'm sure things obviously changed but I got so much nostalgia seeing skye,evie,maeve,yuri,viktor,lian,etc etc
The science guy is Torb. He’s still really good and his ult is a game changer

while I wouldn't recommend this character to a new player, they are so unique that I feel I need to talk about them:
Yagorath is really awesome, she is basically a raid boss, she's the big worm one. kinda got nerfed into the ground tho, still fun.
Mate I love Yagorath, she is one of the coolest characters to play imo. Just a boss type character done right if you ask me.

Love seeing new players in this wonderful game, the new update will make it even greater and whats even better is that the devs actually care about their players (at least most of the time). Also I would recomment you to try and build a deck or import one, these can buff you champion crazy, also try Dark Stalker for Androxus.

People at first tried to accuse paladins of copying overwatch when they both first released (even though they actually begin development at similar times and paladins started earlier) But as time has progressed it really has fleshed out what it wants to be and has came out with some absolutely fire characters

I also tried paladins recently game is fun but what i have noticed is either you win really easy or you barely get to leave the spawn room

I forgot about this game. This game was legendary.
Paladins is a game that i played when I didnt have Xbox Live Gold(yes i am a console gamer and when Ow1 existed you needed that to play now you don't). To see someone play this for the first time is always funny because the amount of bugs i experience is horrendous. The game has some BANGER skins though a good majority are uh.... yes, jokes aside this game playes different from overwatch there like minimum to no team play.

@@ItsHealz do you remember the infamous worst update where the game became pay to win with cards unlockable with chest and a new elixer currency? They even made sprays referencing that with inara and barik and such. Soon they reverted back to the old syytem where every card was already unlocked.
@@kaankarcan558 No I don't. I remember a bug with terminus where he could just infinitely ult. I remember a bug with him where he was able to get out the map. I remember a bug where your horse can prevent you getting stuck in the spawn.

btw you should disable firing error, helps you being more accurate
One thing I love about this game is the fact you can customize your own load outs. They give you 3 by default 1 for each talent but you can make your own to adjust how your character plays. My favorite so far is just going max movement speed on Maeve it’s so much fun especially cause I have the Raeve Maeve skin.
Would love to see him play Maeve, not the easiest or strongest character, but you do get to almost fly around the map

Maeve is the annoying cat thing that blinds you right? She's OP in every section but health.

what i really like when i was playing paladins is the loadout building. its fun when you can wreck the enemies with pip damage and fernando damage.
I know you from the apex videos and watching you play Paladins and enjoy the characters is awesome.
This game has a cool competitive atmosphere too! the matchmaking isnt great but at higher elos there's a lot to it in terms of drafting, items, loadouts, alongside the same comp team shooter aspects OW has. would 100% watch as someone who chose paladins over overwatch lol

I cried when I saw him play Barik like a damage. He’s that tank that’s good for every situation no matter what.
4:37 this is the sickest thing about Raum, hitting the same person repeatedly with the same dash to full kill them.
There's a tech where if you go in the air for any amount of time, even from just a tiny hill or ledge, you have no steer penalty in the air so you can instantly 180 turn around. There are some maps where Raum can be kinda nuts (when not hard-countered) because he can just hit you like 3 times in 1 second if you're near an area with elevated ground like that by dashing and then just spinning his camera like crazy
God I haven’t played this game in YEARS, and it hasn’t changed at all.
Not sure if its good or bad. Seems fun though!
it's good. it would be better if they fixed the audio and visual bugs, but the team working on the gameplay is like 7 devs last time I checked, so if more people get into it, they can hire more to fix those bugs and do bigger things
The only thing they need to improve for me is the graphics perhaps, they do look like a mobile game right now

I've only just got back into paladins and I've had some decent fun finding new characters and using my old mains again
While it is very buggy, there's some great fun to be had - I like using Betty La Bomba and Moji

Female junkrat is fun yes i didn't really enjoy Moji
@@GrillbysOf moji is pretty bad due to the main attack being a flamethrower basically and you are a flanker so you have to get near enemies to maximize damage and the mega is more ranged than anything
