Matt thoughts on center Nick Garaiulo from south Carolina 6’5” 318 lbs. athletic. In all my mocks he’s there at 195 pick, is he worth a flyer ? Great show…I’m ready for this!!
The better overall draft value would be waiting on C, McCormick, Nourzad, or Bortolini. I'm just not sure they will. I believe the chorus of national/local media and the fanbase got to the organization a bit this off-season. Let's hope I'm wrong.

The Fautanu pick was your best, since you've been mocking, imo.
The rest are projects and NOT early contributors, maybe Jenkins but no guarantee.
There is no way, injuries aside, Steelers are starting two rookies on the O-line, while transitioning Jones to LT, in the 2024 season.
If this team is serious about winning a championship, which I don't think they're close, likely two seasons away, they need day one contributors, which your draft lacks.
I would love for them to snag Trotter or Cooper at mlb to sit with Queen and Holcomb for a year or so. I know it won't happen and there is always Barret Carter in next year draft
Steelers not moving back in the Draft as stated on other Steelers mock Drafts. They have 4 picks of the 1st 98 selections. Based on the Arthurs Smith Run Heavy Offense they want to employ they will draft Tackle and Center with pick 20 and 51 and use the two third round picks and draft a Physical Blocking WR and CB.
And now it is the Steelers front office's job to go trade for a veteran starting WR after this draft!!!

Offensive tackle around one, either wide receiver or center round two and three. It’s easy. If you listen to DK, you know this is the direction we’re headed. Why are you listening to PFF? They have no idea.

He said Fautuno might not be able to play right tackle or center so why would Pittsburgh spend their 1st round pick on him? They need C,RT,WR in the 1st three rounds don't They? Please respond if you can explain his mock draft
There are 2 months of mock drafts on the Drive podcast with Matt and Dale Lolley. Fautanu is supposed to be able toplay any position on the O Line. Steelers had him in the facility for a visit, soI’m sure it was discussed. And maybe there are options for right tackle, like testing out all tackles in OTAs or camp. Hope it works out, like all the draft picks! 😊
You have to get at least a center or receiver in the top two rounds now you have pigeon holed yourself we have Pickens who is probably a good number two and then a bunch of 4 or 5’s you need a 1 or 2 receiver and a solid center.

Denver doesn't have a 2nd rd pick. Trade picks 20, 51, and a 5th rd next year for picks 12 and 76.

He is saying McCormick will fight for Center but who would he fight for Center against and he never played center in college so I don't understand why Pittsburgh would take a defensive lineman in round 2 when we obviously need a center more. I get that our defensive line is old and beat up but if you have a good offensive line and Russell Wilson can put some points up I believe our defense is good enough as is as long as there are no injuries of course, to be a top 10 defense
Another reason NOT to move Daniel's to Center...if we are starting a ROOKIE @ R.T.

Every center prospect has played guard at some point, including JPJ, Frazier and Barton. It’s very common for interior guys. Green was just terrible at it. I still get the apprehension, though.
