After we stopped halfway and practiced moving with the breath my whole mindset and practice changed. I felt stronger, looser, and just more intuned to my body and mind and spirit. I was smiling and naturally moving in a child like way. Loved this practice.

Same here! Something completely changed. Before the breath work I was genuinely thinking that maybe I’m not meant to do this. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy after. I’m still heavy and I still needed to modify but I was able to breathe through the rest of the practice and “flow”. I’m so glad that I had that moment as otherwise I was thinking that I’m not sure this is for me anymore (from someone who practiced daily for years and then went off the radar).

Yes, I am getting better at these lunges that move into arms up. Adrienne's directions and the last series have helped. Bunions and big toe joint arthritis makes it more difficult. I use a rolled up towel to soften the impact on that joint and I reposition as necessary to make it work. Thinking about moving thighs together and concentrating on the center has been so helpful.

I don't know why, but the MOVE theme really scared me and woke all my anxieties about not being able to "keep up". Even after doing YWA since autumn 2018, and every day twice since the pandemic started, I felt so ill-prepared.
And then, today, something happened with that gentle flow of the arms and applying the conscious breath to that last round of the warior sequence. I felt at peace. And then I sat on my mat, grateful for everything in my life, the good that helped me and the bad I learned from.
So, first comment ever. It seems liked the right time tonight.
Thank you, Adriene, for your gift of yoga, of gentle challenge and teaching with an open heart and a smile, for all that lightness and depth and for the tremendous wealth of self-care and community you bring to us. Words can't express how much you move so many lives.

When Adrienne mentioned the romantic relationship with your flow I had a literal epiphany, I’ve been on my yoga journey for almost two years now and I began to notice that I prefer ‘flow’ yoga practices and never thought why as most of the time is more cardio like intensive, yet when Adrienne described the romanticism of flow yoga I resonated with this concept deeply as this form of practice is almost like dancing whereby I’m more focused on the ‘choreography’ and my breath, rather in other forms like day 3 I am more focused on the sensations in my body and find it far more difficult, probably because of the emotions I store in my body ! Going forward I will now put more effort into ‘romanticising ’ more of my practices. Thank you Adrienne for this beautiful thought and Thank You to this community for reminding me everyday that we are all in this together !

It’s challenging and beautiful feeling my muscles stronger every day and my will to life, a little stronger too. I split every practice in segments of 5/10 minutes each because my muscles can’t manage to make it all directly to the end (because I suffer from a chronic neuromuscular disease); yet each day I resist a little longer 😌 Thank you so very very much Adriene for all you do 🤗 Sorry for my English (it’s not my language) CIAOOOO ♥️♥️♥️♥️

The flow while seated really helped me to synchronise my breath with the more active sequence. There was a huge difference between my before and after sequences. This is last day on holiday so I’ll have to switch to practising after work, as they are released at 10am for me. But I always love seeing how many more views have been logged between starting and finishing a session and imagining the thousands of us all practising together.

I'm a teacher and today is our first day back after winter break for a training day. I did not want to get out of bed; it was nice and warm under the blankets and cold out of them! Maybe I can do the routine when I get home in the evening, I thought... but no, I decided to go ahead and do it and I am glad I did. I feel more focused and think I will be better able to flow with whatever the day brings me. Still some low back/hip pain, so I had to be careful when transitioning from down dog to the lunge, and a few I modified, which was a little frustrating for me since I used to be able to swing my legs up no problem. But it's a process, trying to be kind to myself. Have a great day y'all, great job showing up!

How incredibly blessed I feel that my favorite yoga instructor is also such a generous spirit! Thank you, Adriene, for your videos. I did random ones sporadically through the pandemic, but this is my first time doing a 30 day challenge. On day 2, I felt pretty rough, but ever since, I've felt stronger and more in touch with my own body and process. Part of the reason that is happening, instead of my usual self-flagellation, is your openness to modifying, being gentle with oneself, and the way you explain things in the context of the bigger picture. That makes it harder for negativity to take hold, because there are constant reminders throughout your instruction that remind me to re-focus. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts!!

I loved the part when we sat and the breath matched the movements, after that the whole practice changed for me, I could finally really focus on the present, before I was struggling with that. Thank you so much for this experience!!

I'm a couple of days behind just to my chronic illness and time difference for day one but I'm determined to practice every day even if I am two days behind. I really didn't want practice today, I had a flare up but I got myself on the mat. I working this year on accepting that it's okay for me to make modification when I'm not feeling well. After doing the breath with the movement in the middle I experienced something I've never had it all the time practicing I felt free and for the last bit of the session I had no pain.

I first found yoga with adriene when I was a depressed, suicidal middle school- aged student. she was, about, the only positive media I was consuming in relation to my spiritual wellbeing (the rest was entirely misleading as a young person, moving me closer to dangerous psychedelic use). adriene was the only adult who could get me to take care of myself at that age. but I digress,
I am, once again, a depressed and stagnant (college) student. but I have been coming to the mat every day for 4 days now. that's more than I can say about meeting my other health goals in the past year. It's not about getting in shape or even physical health. it's about getting out of a fucking rut where I never move my body. it's about movement and breath connecting me deeper to the present moment, where I realize that gratitude is so much easier to come by.
for 30 minutes a day, i am not hunched over, trapped in the past or future. and that's really important for me.
I really appreciate this practice, as it makes movement attainable for so many of us. I am so grateful for this experience.

I can write something like I was unable to discipline or motivate myself after 4/5 days last year, but this year after a 108 Vinyasa in December, I feel more confident and yoga become a meaningful practice of awareness. I thought about my parents who become depressed and alcoolic with several cardias issues since the age around 40. And during this 108 Vinyasa I thought about how Running, yoga and others physical practices can help me to get through the fear of become unable to move and hope for the Future like my parents.
My thought was like this : since I continue to practice, to move, to daily create movements, I can trust the process and create my own path. I’m not religious but spiritual and for me it seems like an act of faith : we don’t know what a practice can bring us, but we have to move forward.
I love that the theme of this 30 Days is Move.
    Namaste Adrienne!

I love when during the practice there is a movement that my body CRAVES so much that I decide to listen and go into it even if it seems that Adriene has a different thing planned for me. And then as if she noticed, Adriene herself goes to follow my movement, and here we are together, in child's pose, or an extra twist, or restful breath in a self-hug. And I think this is the most awesome moment ever.

Adriene, thank you so much for sharing your practice and wisdom with us. I've been doing yoga for 12 years, and finally in the last year have developed a consistent practice out of absolute necessity Your videos are the best I've found, and your energy helps to bring me into the present. You do an incredible job of speaking from the heart and creating a space for healing in our minds and bodies. I am terminally ill and my body causes me so much pain daily, that even at my most mentally grounded, I struggle to not let my symptoms tear me away from the now. Your videos help with both the physical pain and the mental pain.
Thank you for making this incredible practice so accessible. There are so many people who would not be able to explore this part of themselves and their relationship with their breath if not for your videos.

Feeling really under the weather today and had a day full stress and questioning. It's days like today that I would usually choose to skip yoga because I "don't have time" or "don't feel like it" but I am so grateful that this 30 day yoga journey encourages me to take time on the mat for myself. Even if I have to take more breaks than usual or don't have quite as energetic of a practice, I am still here and I feel much better now because of it.
