    damn good work and nicely presented. so many of these snowblind builds are needlessly complicated or skip things like finding the damn power connectors

    Your snowblind custom is so simple, specially where you cut off the power voltage of the the monitor and just connect it together. Unlike others they compute the voltage in order to know which is the right one to connect voltage together. By the way you said Samsung monitor but you use the Acer AL1717, which is the right one? Great Work buy the way. I will try to do the same. Thank you. 👍

      @@lunosamahey I need some help I accidentally put the wet towel on the the opposite side of the display ( the back side) and removed the coating and now confused is it really antiglare??

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  11 дней назад

      @Dropship-jc9yq sometimes the anti glare coating is pasted on both sides. As long as it is not the polarizer which is usually tinted, you're safe.

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  2 месяца назад

      I forgot to film the rest of that part, but it is to remove the anti glare film. You have to keep a wet towel for at least 5-6 hours and peel off the anti glare coat. Don't keep it for too long cuz the polarizer film can peel off too

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  24 дня назад +1

      @thathugepillow3577 hi Huge pillow 🤣. so if it isn't written on the board, the only way I know how to check is to plug the cables in, turn the board on, and check it with a multi meter. Set your multi meter to Voltage, take your black wire of the multi meter and ground it somewhere, and test with the red wire of the multi meter. If the voltage is 0 or close to 0, that's ground wire.
      But I don't think you should worry, cuz I have taken apart 3 old monitors from different companies and all of them had it labelled

    do you connect the lcd screen to your cpu? how and what do you use for the graphics?

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, so the small board I mentioned in the video, has a VGA port. I connect that to my pc like how you would for a regular monitor

  • @054K4-s4p
    @054K4-s4p 20 дней назад +3

    Are you having problems with your main monitor? Many people write that if two monitors with different Hertz are connected, then the main one (144 or more) will have problems. If a video is launched on the second (custom) one, there will be a drop in frames (and frame tearing) on the main one in dynamic games

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  20 дней назад +1

      i have used this for 2 months now, and i don't have any problems. This is just my opinion, but i think it will only be a problem if you are trying to display a single window in 2 monitors with different refresh rates. not sure though, but I've never had this problem cuz i dont usually split 1 window in 2 monitors.

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah keep it for atleast 5-6 hours. And comes right off. Also don't keep it for too long cuz I did that to one of my screens and the polarizer film peeled off as well

      @@lunosamawhat happens if the polariser peels off? Does it not work after that? I installed one on my pc as well but the colors are barely visible. Even the insides of my pc is barely visible

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  Месяц назад +1

      @hardikdhingra6267 if the polarizer peels off, it will not display any image or barely will.
      In your case, it might be either the background or the light or both. So this works best with a white background, and the pc inside has to be well lit. Any black or dark background really affects the visibility of the image

    • @hardikdhingra6267
      @hardikdhingra6267 Месяц назад

      @@lunosama does the polarised layer being on the inside of the cabinet affect the visibility too? I’ve pasted the flipped screen to the glass. I wonder if putting it up straight would help

    • @lunosama
      @lunosama  Месяц назад

      @hardikdhingra6267 I'm not sure how that will affect the visibility cuz I haven't tried but, like I said earlier, if you have a low lit background or have pc parts that are black or dark in color will hamper the visibility.

      As long as you didn't peel off the polarizer which is a bit tinted, you're safe. Anti glare coatings are just a transparent coating and not coloured or tinted.
