- President Cyril Ramaphosa has signed the National Health Insurance (NHI) Bill into law. This has set in motion the government's fiercely contested plan for universal health coverage. President Ramaphosa signed the NHI into law at a ceremony on Wednesday. For further comment on the NHI, we are joined by South African Medical Association Chairperson, Dr Mvuyisi Mzukwa.
