- A few organisations have vowed to challenge the implementation of the National Health Insurance Bill. This after the National Assembly passed the NHI Bill with 205 members of parliament in support of it.
The Bill makes provision for one pool of health care funding for private and public health care providers. According to the Health Department the aim of the bill is to provide equitable access to quality health services.

The first step is to bring all current nationally run hospitals up to scratch. What is of concern is that once the government gets a hold on private hospitals, the standard all around will drop. The first pass for me is to bring the existing government hospitals up to scratch.
biggest problem is huge lack of trust of the ANC many believe this health care system is needed they also believe it is currently just a way to get funds into one place to make them easier to steal.
And they are probably correct. The only thing that the ANC excel in is corruption and theft.
