Nice one. This song was a collaboration with Tim Henson and Scott LePage from Texas prog rock band Polyphia - they did the guitar arrangements and played on the studio recording for the album version. This is a very uplifting song - and when Su-metal tells me "Its gonna be OK, alright" I believe her.
I’m not sure why it surprises me, but the more I learn about guitarist influences in J-Rock, and J-Metal, the more Polyphia pops up. Just one that comes to mind is Hazuki from Nemophila, Li-SA-X and Disqualia.
Great reaction! I too have always got an 80's feel from this song... I have only heard a small amount, but I believe it might be influenced by the Japanese City Pop genre from the 70's and 80's. Either way, it's a total vibe and I absolutely love it. And Su's vocals at these Legend Metal Galaxy concerts are absolutely exquisite. What I take from the lyrics is an overall sense of positivity that just applies to life in general... like it's all good, just chill, today might not have been your day, but tomorrow is an unwritten brand new day.
