Man, Iam glad that I am not the only one who thinks that it is the most catchy melodies out their.. This is the song that got me into my babymetal journey.. I first heard it on my workmate's playlist and when i heard that chorus, i immediately ask her for the title of the song.. Iam surprised that it is babymetal, Well i admit that the only thing i know at that time is gimme chcocolate, I mean if you have internet, you probably heard of gimme choco or parts of it.. My friends and relatives has the same reaction when they first heard the chorus, theh immediately asked me what is the title of the song lol.. I think koba and team baby metal (not the girls) didnt advertise this song properly. If you are not on the babymetal bubble, you probably wouldn't even know that this song excist... Maybe because of covid also why they didnt promote this song as much, they need to cancel more than 50% of the metal galaxy world tour. I think this is the one and only live performance of brand new day.
👍 👍 Thank you for appreciating this underrated song. I like how you point out Suzuka’s awesome vocal performance and Moa’s beautiful backing vocals. This is also one of my favorite choreography performances by them. One of my two favorite BabyMetal songs I listen to this while driving in my car. Until next time.
Great reaction friend 🔥🤘🦊🤘🔥 To me some parts of the song feel like a modern version of something Prince would write in the 80s but using modern recording tech.
As, I think it was Tim, said: it sounds like a Polyphia song with Japanese vocals. Which is sort of true, because like Road of Resistance tam Babymetal first created a song/interpretation of their style/genre and then let them play the guitar parts on it.
The guitar parts are really great, it's an amazing song, one of my favourite songs from Metal Galaxy. But Tim and Scott only contributed them to the song on the album, they never performed live with Babymetal. And when the 10 Budokan shows in 2021 were arranged, the country was closed to all travelers from overseas, due to Covid. Guitars on this live performance are by Takayoshi Ohmura and Isao Fujita.
So get off the fence, I'm not sure if you liked this song or not please make it more obvious one way or the other.🤔😁🤣 Great reaction. While Tim Henson and Scott LePage did the guitar arrangements and recorded the guitars for the studio version, as I understand it this live version was all Kami Band (so guitars for this were Takayoshi Ohmura and ISAO). It was the same sort of arrangement as when Herman Li and Sam Totman did the guitar arrangements and recorded the studio version for 'Road of Resistance', but the live performances are the Kami Band.
I came to this video immediately after watching your black clover video. Love your reactions this is my kind of music! I posted a long comment on the black clover video asking for you to react to something. Figured If you read your comments i would have better luck with you seeing this comment first. :) have a great day!
This song came into my life at a time when things weren't going right for me, and after reading the lyrics, it became an instant fave. "It's gonna be ok, alright"... can't help but believe it when Su says it...The lyrics is so full of positivity... Just step by step, day by day... if it rains just stop and take a break, keep moving forward, no need to worry, tomorrow is a brand new day... just some of the messages/lyrics in the song. 🤘🦊🤘
Great Reaction! Both of Polyphia said they would love to make a PV for this song with Babymetal, but it didn't happen because of COVID-19. However, it looks like we will be working with BMTH at Summer Sonic this summer, and we are looking forward to working with Polyphia at future shows.
Your reactions are similar to mine. Every new song I hear from Babymetal becomes my favorite. 👊🏽⚡️Yes credit to all who helped create this beautiful song. Su should be in the mix because she participates in the writing process. In an interview she said that when a song is being composed she will hum various Melodie’s and slowly the team will tweak until a song is born. 🤘🏾🦊
Thanks for the great reactions. My favorite is Rondo of Nightmares, but Brand New Day is unquestionably in the top three. Her voice, heard in the arena, is like starlight in the sky, pouring down from above and soothing the soul.🦊
When are you going to do Akatsuki the original version??? You reacted to the unfinished version but never reacted to the normal version. And AND you never reacted to Babymetal Death, the very first track on the first album. You have to react to that one before you react to the Shin version at Budokan 2021. Not to mention the Yui and Moa, and Su cover solo songs performed at Legend IDZ concerts. Please read this and at least acknowledge that you have, so I can know for sure that you're getting this info. 😢
I have done a reaction to Babymetal Death live and it should be in my Babymetal Reactions playlist. I will come back around and react to the songs I said I'd come back to once I've gone through the albums. Don't worry! Akatsuki is on the list! 🙂
Japan is now at dawn. A brand new day is about to begin.
Trust Su when she tells you not to worry . Another great song ❤😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

This one was the second live performance of Brand New Day. The first One was in 2020 at Mahuhari Messe
It's a crime that they performed this song only like 3 times
👍 👍

Road of Resistance was a collaboration with Dragonforce though, not Polyphia.
@@tomm268 yes, but the idea/process is similar.
@@autohmae Yes, it was done in a similar way. Herman Li mentioned it in an interview back then.
I wonder if there are any leaks of that original Babymetal style song of BND adn ROR.

_Tomorrow will come, after all._ 🦊🤘🌇
Incorporating English words or lines into japanese lyrics is quite common. VERY common, indeed, it is not just Babymetal 😁
i like Su vocal high notes at full power
me too
If you liked it this much i can't wait to see you crying with the Trilogy of lights 🥹 in a good way though 🤣💖

Awesome song but we can’t see anything. Video is blurry!
It sucks but, songs from the 2021 Budokan concerts usually get copyright blocks so blurring is done to avoid that.
It is intentionally blurred to avoid copyright strikes. You know, the clip is ripped off from a commercial DVD.
@@traylor2502 Regardless, it is likely blurred to avoid copyright strikes.
