There‘s so much variety in BABYMETAL‘s music that it‘s easy to write them off based on one or two songs, and miss out on a lot of stuff that one would have liked. This song is actually not much newer than their first album with songs like Gimme Chocolate. But even someone who doesn‘t like their music at all should be able to appreciate the professionalism and talent that‘s at display in this performance. Many much bigger bands never get to that level. To think that they girls were 15-17 years old at that time makes it even more insane.
Welcome back, great reaction - I guessed from what you said before that you had probably seen the 'Gimme Chocolate' video all those years ago (that video is 10 years old) ... you weren't the only person who wasn't impressed and never gave them another shot, I'm glad you are open to finding out now what else you have missed out on from them as a result.🦊🤘 I'm sure you must have already been told all about this performance (last song of a 90 minute concert, same energy and quality start to finish, over 20k people, Su 17, Yui and Moa still only 15 etc etc). You mentioned Trivium - Matt Heafy is a fan and I believe he has done several of his own covers of BABYMETAL songs. Any similarity to DragonForce is not a coincidence - Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. DragonForce and BABYMETAL even played it together at an awards show in London a little later in 2015. The Kami Band are BABYMETAL's instrumentalists - in this one they were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars, BOH with his 6 string bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow. For a newer song - you already have some great suggestions, I will second all the suggestions for songs at the PIA Arena on 1st/2nd April 2023: Metal Kingdom Monochrome Divine Attack. Megitsune is an older song and their most performed but the PIA Arena performance is great and really shows what BAYMETAL are all about If you want a fun song, Metali (live version ideally of course, but the mv is really good as well).
Nice reaction :) Gimme Chocolate was my introduction to BabyMetal as well and I wasn't sold on them either. After a couple of days I realized I couldn't get Su's (The lead singer) voice out of my head so I gave them another try. Now I'm a huge fan. Check out 'Monochrome live with intro' from '23, I think you might like it
I loved Gimme Chocolate but I was expecting Jpop mixed with Metal. If I was told this is Metal and watched Gimme Chocolate I might have been like Wtf is this?
@@Jordan-Ramses I was watching a reaction to it and I just couldn't wrap my head around it. I went back and listened to Headbanger from the legend of 97 concert and was blown away. Been a fan ever since :) P.S. I love Gimme Chocolate now too lol
Something newer?? Well, do you want a Heavier song?? "Maya" ruclips.net/video/DE8lACLWMtI/видео.html A fun Party song?? "Metali" (feat. Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine) ruclips.net/video/hkij4LvACZ0/видео.html Or their most recent Live release?? (Literally came out 3 hrs. ago) "Brand New Day" (feat. Tim Henson and Scott LePage from @Polyphia) ruclips.net/video/G9li0LFVaGU/видео.html Soooo Many Songs to choose from....you guys have a lot of catching up to do!! Have Fun!! Put your Kitusne UP!! Po!
Nice reaction ( and it is GREAT seeing them live ! ) . It's easy for people to assume that BM is just some kind of novelty act and not really Metal but you only have to look at who they have either opened for , toured with or collaborated with to see just how much respect they have from their peers - Metallica , GunsN'Roses , Korn , RHCP , Sabaton , Bring Me The Horizon , Tom Morello , Rob Halford , to name but a few and that doesn't include their own sellout shows and World Tours where they regularly play to crowds of 20k + and finally some of the biggest Festivals in the world - Glastonbury , Hellfest , Download , Sonisphere etc I'd suggest " Rondo of Nightmare " with the Mischiefs of Metal Gods Intro. - ruclips.net/video/tmMocP99QkQ/видео.html " Monochrome " Live at PIA arena -- ruclips.net/video/XJZhy7fWNyY/видео.html or their collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon " Kingslayer " Live in Tokyo - ruclips.net/video/hb2mMVdx1KU/видео.html
Welcome back to the foxhole 😁 great reaction, guys . A bit different than Gimme Chocolate, the double-edged sword . People see gimme chocolate and either have their interest peeked or hate it and never listen to BabyMetal again and miss out on the best live band in the world . You will have already been told about the Dragon Force link . They opened recently in the US for BabyMetal as well . Surrgestions for new songs ? All of them ! But Rah has some good suggestions, Metal Kingdom and Monochrome at the PIA Arena, but i would add Divine Attack as well the same show . If you want a bit of a fun song, Metali live version of cause, but the mv is good as well, Megitsune is an older song and the most performed but PIA Arena performance is great . Whatever your choice is ok 👍 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。The crowd involvement (circle pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. This anthemic song was played in almost every show (either in their headline or in huge festival) The audience reaction is always similar to it in this video. In your video, Su shouted some words at 08:59 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She has shouted it occasionally since then and when she does, it is with her friendly smile and matured mild voice that I love 😄
👍👍"Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational BABYMETAL!" Great reaction. Welcome to the foxhole.🦊🦊🦊 🖖❤ Babymetal - Monochrome (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs
That was a great reaction, guys. Props to you for giving Babymetal another chance. But we also should keep in mind that Babymetal wouldn't be Babymetal without Gimme Chocolate. It is a fan favorite whenever they perform it today. The live videos you will watch of Babymetal (minus the collaborations) will usually be a flagship show in Japan. The touring show is much more scaled down to usually just them, the band, and a big screen behind them. But the energy level and passion of the fans are no doubt present. If you want to listen to some of their newer stuff, it would be from The Other One album, which will include Divine Attack, Monochrome, Light and Darkness, Metal Kingdom. Also, this was considered a concept album, so it is different than the usual Babymetal style. They have many many songs to select from, over 50 of them. Karate, Pa Pa Ya, Brand New Day, Megitsune, and I can go on and on. And I guarantee each song will give you a different experience. They are that diverse in fusing different genres. If you want to see more collaborations, Leave it All Behind is a good one with F.Hero and Bodyslam (thai rapper and thai rock group). Thanks for your reaction, we would love to continue journeying with you down the foxhole.
Welcome back to the Foxhole🦊🤘🔥 Nice to see you're back with this suggestion to follow your BM journey, just like here it was the ender for almost every show at the World Tour 2023/2024 and everyone loved to have fun with this one such recently at the Europe Tour and prior to that at Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, they did a fun interview about it and you can see they were excited with Slipknot returns, another band BM producer loves) they were very supportive during early era or Metal Resistance chapter, also they played at San Francisco as part of the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok and DragonForce were there playing too, another supportive band since BM beginning career and also involved in the album version of this song as well some live collabs together around those years. You got it right with their names and pronunciation as well this song included in 2nd album although it was also included in the 1st album (re-edition) as a bonus track. "Road Of Resistance" is a power/speed metal song, it's one of their most epic anthems and the album version got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce. It's all about facing your own path without looking back. This was part of the Trilogy Of 2015, live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, by this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment. With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they're performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages. The Kami Band here are real and magnificent set of elite musicians, they were sent to help the girls with the metal sound, they rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (especially the guitarists). They are: - Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording some albums. - Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly passed away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar. - BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but his fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP. - Hideki Aoyama, god of drums, comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father was very famous in Japanese music scene. At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to make them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed from X-Japan saying it at live concerts too. Next suggestion: - Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 (2013) See you next time 🦊🤘🔥
Thanks for giving the gals a look. To fans this is pretty much required viewing. I'm willing to bet that what you had seen earlier was "Gimme Chocolate". Though that song really put Babymetal on Western music radar, it's high WTF factor has also put off a lot of people off. That was roughly a year before this performance. I too would love to see you get a chance to see them in a more contemporary performance. RoR which you just watched has long been kind of the go to for-especially-new reactors to Babymetal. The song I'd like to suggest in some ways has become the new go to for contemporary Babymetal. "Monochrome" Live PIA Arena, 2023. There are a lot of reasons-I'll not get into here-for why this is such a special performance but it is very representative of the kind shows BM are still putting on 10 years after the performance you just watched. You've got my sub and 4 hours after posting you've got 160 likes so I'm guessing you're well on your way to hitting that 200 likes goal. Again nice, thoughtful job and "Monochrome" link follows: ruclips.net/video/xAZeBm0o7Jo/видео.html
BM revived my interest in music after 15 yearas - and they're VERY different now - althopugh personally I think they were EVERY bit as good back then - I loved the energy, the unmasked band and the rawness. Great reaction to one of their earlier tracks! :D Oh....more pls obviously :P
@@robote7679 PURELY my personal opinion - but I think as a Japanese band Westerners backing them may have looked...idiosyncratic. I KNOW it was done before the E.Kami pretty much vanished but I think they knew what they were doing - and imo it wasn't s stylistic choice :P Kind of un PC I guess to suggest that could have been A reason - but it seems the most logicial. And honestly it would look a little strange - they already use too much English in their music imo - with an out front Western backing band it'd start to seem more of a fusion or something. I mean, who TF wants to play with a mask on - especially year in year out? :P I DO know I'm glad they got people of such calibre, but I'd still rather they had a Japanese backing band personally, but there's probably many reasons.
@@astrafaan Thanks for that thoughtful and interesting response. I had also heard that the OG Kami band were getting pretty old-for touring, having families and the like. And that the American line up-for some reason-had an easier time with the international travel. I know that's vague but that's about all I can dredge up from my memory.
Welcome back to Babymetal! Glad you guys enjoyed this one. You’ll find Babymetal’s sound weaves in and out of the heavy and melodic, and combines J-pop vocals and choreography. Here are some additional suggestions: *Divine Attack (Pia Arena MM):* In my opinion, a modern contemporary “rendition” similar to Road of Resistance. *MAYA (Pia Arena MM):* Heavy riffs, cyberpunk vibes. *Headbanger:* _Legend 1997_ for a 2013 version. _Legend MM / Momobanger_ for a very recent version with Babymetal growls (this may be tricky on copyrights). *Catch Me If You Can (Budokan 2014):* Very heavy musically, but ultra cute and adorable vocally. May or may not be your cup of tea. *BABYMETAL DEATH (Legend 1997):* 100% brutal, 0% cute. Most metal and epic show closer for lead Su-metal’s 16th birthday (Dec 2013). Look forward to more Babymetal!
Good reaction, thanks! This footage is from the concert "New Year Fox Festival", held on January 10th, 2015 at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) with a sold out crowd of 20.000+ people. It was the final encore of the show. Just imagine 90+ minutes of concert entirely performed with this level of energy. It's just epic. For this video, they decided to keep the actual live audio and everything, just cutting short the majority of the "We are?? BABYMETAL" extensive outro. About the song itself, Herman Li and Sam Totman from Dragonforce collaborated with BABYMETAL, doing the guitar arrangements and also playing on the studio recording. So, it better reminds you of them. 😁 It's about forging your own way even if there is not a previous path to follow. It's a little like their own history. The song is their usual show closer even today. SU-METAL still remembers this performance and specially the part they walked across the bridge with the crowd singing along as one of her favorite moments on stage. She also made this song her personal anthem. And you can tell she was on fire, specially during the second half of the song, by her expressions. Not to mention the moment she verbalized it by shouting: "Kakatte koi yaa!" ("Bring it on!"). This is a more serious song than "Gimme Chocolate" but their range is really wide. And, to be honest, "GC" was tailored like that (with the WTF factor) in purpose, and it worked since it went viral in 2014 (for better or worse). Also, once you are 100% in, experiencing "Gimme Chocolate" live is a blast. 🤘🦊
Road of Resistance Dying the eastern sky true red, the light of signal fire tells the end of the darkness of solitude. It's a new guidepost. Even if you are crushed, again and again, burn your flame of heart! Now is the time! Is the time! This moment right now. Is the time! Is the time! Living together. Just now is the time! Is the time! I sing for the you of tomorrow. Now the time has come. Go for Resistance! [Resistance!] Resistance! [Resistance!] Wow wow wow wow wow. Our hearts are one. If you believe in your way, go on even the way without a path! Forever! [Forever!] Forever! [Forever!] Wow wow wow wow wow. In the depths of our heart, the hot Metal spirit is burning. It is our Resistance. Wow wow wow wow... As long as life continues, I will never turn my back to reality. Today makes tomorrow. Yes, it's our future. On the way, [ah.] Resistance! Resistance! Stand up and shout! [Shout!] Justice forever! If you believe in your way, go on! The answer is here. Forever! [Forever!] Forever! [Forever!] Wow wow wow wow wow. In the depths of our heart, the hot Metal spirit is burning. Our Resistance.
Definitely check out "Rondo of Nightmare with Mischiefs of God intro Budokan live" (highlights the kami band front and center before the song starts, and it's in most peoples top 5, top 10 live shows for Babymetal
Start from the beginning! maybe Doki Doki Morning or Megitsune and have a look into their story it will show you the hard road these young ladies had to travel, I personally found it amazing.
RoR the second Su starts singing I'm all in. If you looking for something newer the PIA area 2023 performance, are good but it’s what are you looking for? Monochome, and Devine Attack are good performances, solid songs, Mirror Mirror, Maya, Time Wave, Believing are good also but lean towards experiences going a little farther out, interesting arrangements but very heavy in parts, Metal Kingdom is an anthem type song slower paced very cool, Metalizm leans towards edm and one I listen to a lot, Light and Darkness is a little lighter than most of their songs sort of a heavy love song but not as slow as you might think I think it's one of their best arranged songs and Su really gets to show her best too
For something more recent you should check out "Monochrome" from the PIA Arena 2023. Interestingly their heaviest song from earlier on doesn't feature Su-metal singing lead, but rather Yuimetal and Moametal taking the lead on "Sis Anger". It's something you should keep on your list to check out. BTW happy 25th birthday to Yuimetal
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏴 🏴 🏴 "Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) - Glad you mentioned Trivium. Matt Heafy has been a friend of the group since they were kids. Su is 26 now. : ) Looks like you're well over 200 likes for this one. 'Monochrome' would be a great follow up. There's a really nice live version from PIA Arena in 2023.
I love BABYMETAL because I'm bored metal music is always the same,I love the genre of deathmetal, hardcore, deathcore, blackmetal but it's boring always screaming and depressed with live shows that don't fit the studio and BABYMETAL comes, listening for the first time is like going back to the old days when I love metal music
This was the performance that hooked me on BM, I've been finding and listening to new live performances for years. I'd love to see you continue with them! My suggestion for a newer performance is "Metal Kingdom (Pia Arena 2023)" link for convenience if you want it (( ruclips.net/video/xd-lswJ2e3k/видео.html )). It features BM theater and pristine vocals from Su-Metal that showcase her range, and is a also just a great newer song of theirs.
Babymetal isn't for everyone, but im really glad you gave them another chance!!! 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊 They also havr worked with Dragonforce Judus Priest and many other bands i love how the metal community has embraced them!❤
Please check out videos from babymetals most recent album The Other One Mirror Mirror Monochrome Maya Divine Attack Believing Metal kingdom Time Wave All of these songs were performed at the same concert last year Babymetal live PIA Arena 2023
200 likes, I suggest some songs from the PIA Arena concert from 2023. It's very recent and excellent quality of recording. There is also a new video call Brand new day featuring Poliphia It's a song from 2019, Thank you for the video. 🤘🦊
Hi from Ireland, glad you liked performance, definitely monochrome live at pia, I also suggest megitsune live at pia, and as a comparison road of resistance live at pia, these are 2023, and amazing shows
The reason this song gives Dragonforce vibes is not because they're "up in that same region." Dragonforce is not an Asian band, despite having an Asian guitarist, they're British. The reason this song gives Dragonforce vibes is because Herman Li and Sam Totman from Dragonforce literally co-wrote the song and played the guitars on the original studio version.
Im a huge fan of babymetal, thx 4 giving them another look! they will be touring again in the states again this year check them out if you can. Ijime dame zettai at Sonisphere 2014 is a popular one reactors do but, if you want some thing newer Monochrome, Divine attack, Mirror Mirror are al great choices. Also メタり (Metali) w/ tom morello or kingslayer w/ bring me the horizon are great collabs aswell. Hope to see more!!
I think most Babymetal fans accept that they're not for everyone. What they do is pretty different and it isn't going click for some people and that's okay. As long as people are respectful, most fans don't mind if you say "This is not for me." A personal preference isn't wrong. Babymetal perform Road of Resistance as their show closer at most of their concerts, so this was the final encore at "Legend 2015 - The New Year Fox Festival". Most people say that it sounds a lot like Dragonforce, which is because the guitar parts were written by Herman Li and Sam Totman and they played on the studio recording. Most major Babymetal live shows in Japan are filmed for release on Bluray, so they always have this level of videography. The thing about Babymetal is that they do so many different things that it's hard to pin them down to a particular sounds that is "typical" of them. My suggestion if you want to see a newer song is "Mirror, Mirror" Live @ PIA Arena 2023 - ruclips.net/video/wQsarT7q5HE/видео.html
Great reaction. You should react to Tales Of The Destinies, Syncopation, From Dusk Till Dawn, Brand New Day, Shine (Legend M) You can find the videos in the links below For LIVE I suggest that you use the videos on the Babymetal Reactor Resource ruclips.net/video/q40VmTHSh4c/видео.html There's more information in the description of that video There's also this channel with great-quality videos www.youtube.com/@Hymnodic/videos
Although it is strictly my opinion, I think you should delve into where BABYMETAL has been before getting too caught up with where they are. Just sayin'. In regards to "Gimme Chocalate!!": many members of The One will say that this song isn't among BABYMETAL's best - I beg to differ. Although BABYMETAL does have many songs that are better, this song defines what BABYMETAL is: heavy metal pleasantly mixed with J-pop without missing a beat - kawaii metal at its best, and one of the best of the "Yui Era" (more on that later). Anyway, you’ve opened a can of worms! BABYMETAL has an extensive history (and lore) which I won’t get into but a quick synopsis: they’ve been around since 2010, and started when their lead singer - known as Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) - was about twelve, and the two "cheerleaders" (officially "scream and dance" (backing vocals)) - Moametal (Moa Kikuchi) and Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno) - were both around eleven. Unfortunately, Yui left the group in 2018 because of health concerns, and early in 2023 Momoko Okazaki (Momometal) was named a member of the group. They do not play instruments but are backed by the Kami Band - session musicians who are among the best that Japan (and the U.S.) has to offer. BABYMETAL started a brand new genre of music ("kawaii metal" - cute metal), and they cannot be pigeon-holed - they are almost always thinking and moving outside box; they made listening to metal FUN! They have, to date, four studio albums with over fifty songs, and have been on a number of world tours. It is common knowledge among their devoted fans (known as "The One") that BABYMETAL is best served live, but they do have several music videos that are real works of art. I suggest you go back to the beginning, and react to their first two music videos, "Doki Doki Morning" and "Iine!" (pronounced "E-nay"), both released in 2012. You’ll notice those are the first two on this list of recommended songs (along with suggested versions). The first sixteen are from what I've come to call "The Golden Age of BABYMETAL" or simply "The Yui Era". This list also includes all four songs of the BABYMETAL sub-group Black BABYMETAL (just Yui and Moa while Su is chilling): Doki Doki Morning (official music video) ruclips.net/video/cirhQ8iLdbw/видео.htmlsi=k84SUx4P01t9M5ic Iine! If nothing else, it can be used as a reference to find high quality versions of BABYMETAL songs without mucking about - if they are on the list. Anyway . . . . Another recommendation (read "challenge"): react to an entire BABYMETAL concert. I suggest: "Legend 1997 Apocalypse" ruclips.net/p/PLdBAj9hZ91wCao72oSqTMLrGpIDOqzR2Q and/or "Budokan Black Night" (2014) ruclips.net/p/PLdBAj9hZ91wBwsBfjsKH9zWxA5YOOUkSI Both concerts are, in a word, incredible. Enjoy your trip down the foxhole! (You're in for a wild ride!!!) Keep rockin' BABYMETAL!!! (Sorry about the wall!) We are . . . BABYMETAL!!! KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘 See you!!!
You said you are a bass player, you would really like most Japanese current music I would think. From Metal to rock to pop their music is really bass featured, and I don't mean just a good bass line, the bass in a lot of Japanese music is used to add melody along with the groove.
Great reaction.. if you want newer, Babymetal reinvented themselves last year as new Babymetal, the version that you saw with Electric Callboy.. finally replacing Yuimetal who left in 2018 with Momometal.. The first taste we saw of this new incarnation was Metali.. featuring Tom Morello.. I think you should try the OMV first..

The girls are 17 and 15 here, what were you doing when you were 15. Has anyone reminded you that DragonForce wrote the guitar parts and performed on the studio version. Sam and Herman from DragonForce wrote the parts never expecting to have to play them because it was so fast then BabyMetal wanted to use it in this song and they were like uh-oh
It’s not that deep, there’s different reaction channels and everyone does reactions differently. If you don’t like when they don’t pause just move on. They didn’t even talk that much 🤦 or at least suggest it nicely
Thanks for the great reactions! RoR is an old song but one of the iconic songs of BABYMETAL. I hope you continue to listen to BABYMETAL!🤘🦊🎸🔥

Welcome back, great reaction - I guessed from what you said before that you had probably seen the 'Gimme Chocolate' video all those years ago (that video is 10 years old) ... you weren't the only person who wasn't impressed and never gave them another shot, I'm glad you are open to finding out now what else you have missed out on from them as a result.🦊🤘
I'm sure you must have already been told all about this performance (last song of a 90 minute concert, same energy and quality start to finish, over 20k people, Su 17, Yui and Moa still only 15 etc etc).
For a newer song - you already have some great suggestions, I will second all the suggestions for songs at the PIA Arena on 1st/2nd April 2023:
Metal Kingdom
Monochrome
Divine Attack.
Megitsune is an older song and their most performed but the PIA Arena performance is great and really shows what BAYMETAL are all about
If you want a fun song, Metali (live version ideally of course, but the mv is really good as well).
Babymetal just dropped a new video and collab with Polyphia called "Brand New Day". Check it out!
Watched it this morning, that one was SICK!
A new video but an old collab - this song was on their "Metal Galaxy" album. 🤘🦊🤘
Sam and Herman from Dragonforce helped co-write this song, they've also performed it live together. 🤘
Been a fan ever since :)
P.S. I love Gimme Chocolate now too lol
Something newer??
Well, do you want a Heavier song??
"Maya"
ruclips.net/video/DE8lACLWMtI/видео.html
A fun Party song??
"Metali" (feat. Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine)
ruclips.net/video/hkij4LvACZ0/видео.html
Or their most recent Live release?? (Literally came out 3 hrs. ago)
"Brand New Day" (feat. Tim Henson and Scott LePage from @Polyphia)
ruclips.net/video/G9li0LFVaGU/видео.html
Soooo Many Songs to choose from....you guys have a lot of catching up to do!!
Have Fun!!
Put your Kitusne UP!! Po!
Nice reaction ( and it is GREAT seeing them live ! ) . It's easy for people to assume that BM is just some kind of novelty act and not really Metal but you only have to look at who they have either opened for , toured with or collaborated with to see just how much respect they have from their peers - Metallica , GunsN'Roses , Korn , RHCP , Sabaton , Bring Me The Horizon , Tom Morello , Rob Halford , to name but a few and that doesn't include their own sellout shows and World Tours where they regularly play to crowds of 20k + and finally some of the biggest Festivals in the world - Glastonbury , Hellfest , Download , Sonisphere etc
I'd suggest
" Rondo of Nightmare " with the Mischiefs of Metal Gods Intro. - ruclips.net/video/tmMocP99QkQ/видео.html
" Monochrome " Live at PIA arena -- ruclips.net/video/XJZhy7fWNyY/видео.html
or their collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon " Kingslayer " Live in Tokyo - ruclips.net/video/hb2mMVdx1KU/видео.html
Welcome to the foxhole.🦊🦊🦊 🖖❤
Babymetal - Monochrome (PIA Arena 2023 Live) Eng Subs
Welcome back to the Foxhole🦊🤘🔥
Nice to see you're back with this suggestion to follow your BM journey, just like here it was the ender for almost every show at the World Tour 2023/2024 and everyone loved to have fun with this one such recently at the Europe Tour and prior to that at Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, they did a fun interview about it and you can see they were excited with Slipknot returns, another band BM producer loves) they were very supportive during early era or Metal Resistance chapter, also they played at San Francisco as part of the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok and DragonForce were there playing too, another supportive band since BM beginning career and also involved in the album version of this song as well some live collabs together around those years.
They are:
- Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording some albums.
Next suggestion:
- Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 (2013)
See you next time 🦊🤘🔥
Thanks for giving the gals a look.
BxMxC is one of my favs, but it's hard ti go wrong. ❤
Nice open minds👊🏽⚡️🤘🏾🦊 New songs, “Maya”, “Beleiving”, “Mirror mirror”.
BM revived my interest in music after 15 yearas - and they're VERY different now - althopugh personally I think they were EVERY bit as good back then - I loved the energy, the unmasked band and the rawness. Great reaction to one of their earlier tracks! :D Oh....more pls obviously :P
Yeah, have to say I've just never gotten the masks?
@@robote7679 Sounds about right - they were certainly older than I realised many of them to be
Welcome back to Babymetal! Glad you guys enjoyed this one. You’ll find Babymetal’s sound weaves in and out of the heavy and melodic, and combines J-pop vocals and choreography.
Here are some additional suggestions:
*Divine Attack (Pia Arena MM):* In my opinion, a modern contemporary “rendition” similar to Road of Resistance.
Absolutely amazing 💜💜💜
please please please more Babymetal 🥺🥺❤❤🖤🖤
Happy birthday 「YUIMETAL❣」🍅🍅🍅🎂🌷💐🌸🌺🦊🤘

🤘🦊
i love that they are trying so hard to keep them on rhythm and have to guide them back we aren't all blessed lmaooo. do babymetal death, sis anger
Great reaction..... Kitsune up ⬆️⬆️⬆️🤘🤘🤘
Road of Resistance
Dying the eastern sky true red,
the light of signal fire
tells the end of the darkness of solitude.
It's a new guidepost.
Even if you are crushed, again and again,
burn your flame of heart!
Now is the time! Is the time!
This moment right now.
Is the time! Is the time!
Living together.
Just now is the time! Is the time!
I sing for the you of tomorrow.
Now the time has come.
Go for Resistance! [Resistance!] Resistance! [Resistance!]
Wow wow wow wow wow.
Our hearts are one.
If you believe in your way,
go on even the way without a path!
Forever! [Forever!] Forever! [Forever!]
Wow wow wow wow wow.
In the depths of our heart,
the hot Metal spirit is burning.
It is our Resistance.
Wow wow wow wow...
As long as life continues,
I will never turn my back to reality.
Today makes tomorrow.
Yes, it's our future. On the way, [ah.]
Resistance! Resistance!
Stand up and shout! [Shout!]
Justice forever!
If you believe in your way,
go on! The answer is here.
Forever! [Forever!] Forever! [Forever!]
Wow wow wow wow wow.
In the depths of our heart,
the hot Metal spirit is burning.
Monochome, and Devine Attack are good performances, solid songs,
Mirror Mirror, Maya, Time Wave, Believing are good also but lean towards experiences going a little farther out, interesting arrangements but very heavy in parts,
Metal Kingdom is an anthem type song slower paced very cool,
Metalizm leans towards edm and one I listen to a lot,
Light and Darkness is a little lighter than most of their songs sort of a heavy love song but not as slow as you might think I think it's one of their best arranged songs and Su really gets to show her best too
For something more recent you should check out "Monochrome" from the PIA Arena 2023. Interestingly their heaviest song from earlier on doesn't feature Su-metal singing lead, but rather Yuimetal and Moametal taking the lead on "Sis Anger". It's something you should keep on your list to check out. BTW happy 25th birthday to Yuimetal

"Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) -
Glad you mentioned Trivium.
Matt Heafy has been a friend of the group since they were kids.
Su is 26 now. : )
Looks like you're well over 200 likes for this one.
'Monochrome' would be a great follow up.
There's a really nice live version from PIA Arena in 2023.
A new babymetal song to react to? Monochrome live at PIA arena 2023
Just a tip: put in the video description a link to the original video you are reacting to! It's a way to give respect and credit to the artist!
You should've check their live performance of Rondo of Nightmare, and you can see the bassist insane solo play with that 6 strings bass.
Stay tuned👀 (Monday the 22nd to be exact)
You should react to Tales Of The Destinies, Syncopation, From Dusk Till Dawn, Brand New Day, Shine (Legend M)

This was an "encore" end of concert song.
The max capacity of the Saitama Super Arena is 37,000 people.
This list also includes all four songs of the BABYMETAL sub-group Black BABYMETAL (just Yui and Moa while Su is chilling):

You can use my RUclips playlist “BABYMETAL Top Twenty” (ruclips.net/p/PLdhz2aj0pt4zPl0BZLevPUR9uHKQA27uj ) as a quick link to all of these videos; it is a mix of MV’s and live performances, is more or less in historical sequence, and could be considered a road map down the BABYMETAL foxhole. If nothing else, it can be used as a reference to find high quality versions of BABYMETAL songs without mucking about - if they are on the list. Anyway . . . .
Another recommendation (read "challenge"): react to an entire BABYMETAL concert. I suggest:

Keep rockin' BABYMETAL!!! (Sorry about the wall!)
We are . . . BABYMETAL!!!
KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘 See you!!!
TBH , I haven't heard a BabyMetal song that I didn't like . Their live performances are icing on the cake . Nice reaction thank you .
Do BABYMETAL DEATH, Legend 1997.
Kitsune dao!
And deaht budoka 2021 it’s a different version but which one is better ? Watch both
@@japno2736 watch both but 1997 is better for the sake of a reaction.
'Pa Pa Ya' is a great song live, check that out and you won't be disappointed!! Great reaction, and thank you for the Babymetal listen!!
You said you are a bass player, you would really like most Japanese current music I would think. From Metal to rock to pop their music is really bass featured, and I don't mean just a good bass line, the bass in a lot of Japanese music is used to add melody along with the groove.
🤘🦊🤘
Great reaction.. if you want newer, Babymetal reinvented themselves last year as new Babymetal, the version that you saw with Electric Callboy.. finally replacing Yuimetal who left in 2018 with Momometal..
The first taste we saw of this new incarnation was Metali.. featuring Tom Morello..
I think you should try the OMV first..
The out of tune guy under the ambience mic and Pikachu are the easter eggs of this video 🤣🤘🦊
"pa pa ya" ft F. hero!!!
Papaya -w/ F Hero
For something newer and sick live id say BxMxC. There’s my suggestion and like.
Maybe listen to Metali feat. Tom Morello

What i often think of for Babymetal is the music video for Smells Like Teen Spirit where they have the anarchist cheerleaders.
Don’t talk over the music. If you have something worth saying, pause the video. Speak at length when it’s over.
It’s not that deep, there’s different reaction channels and everyone does reactions differently. If you don’t like when they don’t pause just move on. They didn’t even talk that much 🤦 or at least suggest it nicely
