I think this is the reason you only have 60 views and 288 subs your opinions are trash. This is a perfect entry song to get people into the rock and metal. Without songs like this there would be no way to get new fans into the genre or a way to ease people who hate rock and metal into the genre. I don't know anymore. AILD had a lot of members over the years and only settled into what we grew to love on Shadows. They settled into that sound that makes fans love them and I just don't know anymore. I thought Nick, Jordan and Josh had more to do with it but the more I hear of Tim's side projects, I think it was Tim all along and... might piss some people off, but I think all of the previous members just might have been riding Tim's coattails... Were they talented, F yeah, they were all great members of the band but man... that mind that destroyed the nucleolus of the band we grew to love is the warped mind that can just write some dang masterpieces. BabyMetal is a live band so mostly do live videos. Su does some solo songs to let the dancers rest, the 2 dancers have a few songs with just them to let the singer rest. Since you are a bass player you will love a lot of it, their bass player is soooo good, he was a jazz guy. The camera on the right side was shaking for the whole show and the editors make good use of it as an effect. This is one of their darker songs. Mischiefs of Metal Gods is the name of the intro, the band is called the Kami (God) Band.

Some of the really early stuff when they were kids is not for me, but by time they get to there late teens/ 20s with a few albums they are as good as it gets for live music. Mirror Mirror from the last album is my favorite song. The fan base is generally positive which is also part of the reason I got into them. Good times. 💥🎸🥁 🎸💥

You said you are a bass player, you would really like most Japanese current music I would think. From Metal to rock to pop their music is really bass featured, and I don't mean just a good bass line, the bass in a lot of Japanese music is used to add melody along with the groove.

Back in the day they'd have some "Su only" songs like this one and some "Yui and Moa only" songs that presumably allowed the others to catch their breath and cool down (possibly related to them being literal kids at the time, who knows? After Yui's departure and even with the addition of Momo now as the third member they aren't doing those songs anymore, they just rip through a setlist with 3-4 minute breaks between on their post-Covid tours. I kinda wish they'd go back to it and have a 90 minute show with some alternating solo songs padding out the setlist rather than a 60 minute show with all of them all the time.
