Done a lot of maths over the past weeks and yeah, J-Int with Sigismund seal's Captain is a very effective combo. The unit is cost-effective. You can trade good with that. I think this is the most efficient Sigismund seal's combo ATM. That and the fact that the unit fly and move fast. It's very great considering the absence of advance & charge in our detachment. I also like to add Helbrecht+Lieutenant with A-Int and Champion+A-Int. The main point of those two units are the character attacks. Full reroll to wound is very great. Most of the situation, it's even better than the +1 DMG provided by the Brethren. Again, those units are very cost effective. This give you rooms for Lancers, Ballistus and all those cool goodies in the actual meta
I normally catch on to the combos really quickly, but I've been really tied down with work and life lately and I totally missed this one. ML, good stuff bro! Keep it coming.
Played this setup, or close enough yesterday. More traditional THSs smash captain, as i just subbed in an old metal jump pack captain. But I was a fan. Made their points back easily. Ran a second squad with the chaplain aswell, just to double up on the fast moving templar death machine.
Ten man assault intercessors lead by chaplain with sigismunds seal. yes the captain helps you save your cp but the chaplain lets you wound any data sheet in the game on 5s. wasting sigsimunds seal on a msu seems incredibly wrong. you probably want that on a for-real death start unit in case your play some one with some thing really big that needs to die. power fists aren't particularly scary vs -1 dmg also. I'm using my sigismunds seal now on a LT with sword brethren in a drop pod. That drop pod freaks my opponents out in the worst way :)
Can I ask why? I’m new, just started playing in 10th. I was hoping for a VV refresh next edition and thought that their ranged options were pretty interesting. And the storm shields.
I think Alex was referring to the current iteration of rules for Vanguard Vets. Some armies can use them well, but they take a lot of work to function for us. ~Bob~
This channel has helped me so much. Extremely appreciative that you made this channel. My BT brothers.
Glad to hear it! Never hesitate to drop comments, questions, or suggestions down here!

Great video, love the occasional shorter videos. Thanks for all you do!

@@thecanadiangrizz3171they’re just called “jump intercessors” on the box. Not sure why the name difference, but that’s what was told.
@@thecanadiangrizz3171hope that helps brother
@understandingcontroversy7335 thank you
Call them JPI, not enough time in the day to call them their real name.

Thanks a lot for that one, such a great idea...and kind of so needed after the nerfs! Keep on crusading!

Haha . In this case, it was Alex (Acebaur). I was tied up with the family when he did this one. ;)

Could you please update the 1K BT lists to reflect the current reality?
Glad I picked up the Spearhead boxset
Great video as always! Love your insight!
Captain also gets an extra attack through enhancement so 9 juicy power fists (including sergeant)
Ive run this before, Capt with seigs seal and a 10 man, it SLAPS HARD

dont forget that Vanguard Vets can be in the better VOW in addition to the 4++ which is important because the rest of the army will be FAR better.
would you consider running two of these units
Probably not, mainly because you can only hit one of them with the strats and free captain ability. I'd support them with PCS and sword bros though
So now we running our army as Blood Angels
Not at all. Just another tool in our tool box. Crusaders and Sword Brethren are still staples of our army.
I think JAI are definitely better than Vanguard Vets.

@ less points and pretty much hit just as hard, if not more-so when juiced up.
@@Black_Blow_Fly gotcha. Thanks for the reply!
Jump Ints spammed by blood angels now by everyone YAY
Problem with this is now you can't have sigismunds seal on another unit haha
Rapid ingress the captain for free
In the last video didn’t one of you say they were trash for?
No they've always been good.

Just built some of these but turned the captain into a chaplain. 🤦♂
I already tested them - they are not that good. Maybe Blood Angels but not us.
