RESOLUTIONS
1. Resolution to approve the Fire Departments request to purchase 26 sets of Firefighter Technical Rescue Turnout Gear to include a coat, pants, boots, and gloves with the monies awarded by the Firefighter Turnout Gear Grant through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation with a total award of $44,062.00 and no financial match by the city
2. Resolution to approve the Appointment of Michael O’Loughlin to the position of Deputy DPS Director at a starting salary of $88,376.06, which will remain through June 30, 2025 and include an annual Clothing Allowance of $750.00, an annual S-3 License Compensation of $300.00 (S-2 License - $450.00 and S-1 License - $600.00) with an effective date of hire of April 29, 2024
3. Resolution to concur with the recommendation of the Festivities Commission and approve the purchase of external vests for the Police Department at a cost of $4,000.00
4. Resolution to accept the estimate/job quote from Savone Cement (current contractor) to repair the wall at the former Allen Park Theater site in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00 w/ funds from acct. #401-000-950-450
5. Resolution to accept the estimate/job quote from Savone Cement (current contractor) for the asphalt paving of the parking lot and creation of new green space at the former Allen Park Theater site for an amount of $154,650.00 w/ funds from acct. #401-000-950-450
