I think Thrawn knew exactly where Ezra was and didnt want anything to do with him. I think some fans will be upset as to the amount of power he has attained.
I love Ezra he’s in my top 5 characters and I’f hes in the dark side ima hate it , Ezra works best as how he was portrayed in rebels and he got very powerful in rebels I was fine with that , he used the light side but also dark but he wasn’t controlled by the dark side he’s one of few that controlled the dark side but was not tempted by having more power , He is one with power but does not chase such power instead chases a way of life and a safe home for his friends and family , Ezra’s force connection with animals should show he’s a very instinctual character with pure intent and desire
I don't know why fans would be upset by his power level. He was talented in the force to begin with and we watched for season of character and power level progression with him. And, for at least the last decade in the timeline he's been alone and conceivably in a constant battle for his own survival and has managed to stay alive the whole time on an unknown world with the constant threat of Thrawn, the Nightsisters, and the forces they can muster against him. His circumstances would have caused his power level to rise greatly the same way it happened with many Jedi during the Clone Wars when the constant battle made them have to always be sharpening their skills in life or death situations. This isn't a Rey situation where with zero training she can all of a sudden use Mind Tricks and lightsaber fight a trained Kylo Ren.
I watched most starwars, even cartoons I wouldn't be surprise how strong he has become since it's a given if people has actually watched rebels though I wouldn't say he was jedimaster lvl then he should've at least reach jediknight or mid to top lvl of that. what I'll be upset about is if he actually succumb to darkness despite all the things he went through in rebels and all he has learned. Kanan might not have been the strongest jediknight but the dude can train a padawan well not just in combat but I would say be in tune to the living force. if you watched rebels Kanan has always taught ezra not just being a jedi but life itself. if he suddenly be go dark dark dark kid... it would be weird but if there's a good explanation how... then ugh depending on how good it is ok.

Na he hasn’t fallen. The fact he’s protecting those natives kinda kills the theory. As far as to why Sabine found em so soon, I blame the fact Dave only had 8 episodes to work with….there are going to be inherent pacing issues with so few episodes.
Yeah, if anybody has a dark secret to hide, it's Sabine. She's the one who made the choice to put their galaxy in danger just to get to him. A choice he wouldn't have made for himself. There's a reason why she didn't just tell the truth right away when asked. As far as she knows right now, they are stranded with no way back and Thrawn will be returning to the main galaxy.
They could have cut most of the first 4 episodes. Senselessly slow for no good reason. The first two episodes could have been cut completely. It was a very poor use of time.
8 episodes by Disney is same shit, different day. All of their projects with 8 episodes suffer from pacing issues and unexplored potential, all or most of them I guess.
Ezra collected helmets before. Collecting dog tags in an environment with far less storage and resources makes sense. I'm sure in the beginning, Thrawn sent many troopers after Ezra. However, I suspect Thrawn's forces were diminished by a combination of Ezra and raiders. I hope Ezra has not turned to the dark side.
probably he's using both sides of the force, like Ahsoka and Baylan. The 3 of them together is a rare conglomeration of grey/both sided force wielders.
I have to admit, having Ezra be twisted up after being in this unknown galaxy would be an awesome twist. They have been looking and hoping to find Ezra all this time, and for him to be twisted would be an awesome twist. Awesome video!! 👌🏼 👍🏼
Well imo , ahsoka , sabine , ezra, thrawn allw ont ever come back to the known galaxy they will die and be stuck in the far far away galaxy to never be seen again
I dont think Ezra is evil. I think he knows about the darkness on the planet and it is why he is ready to go home and why the noti are nomadic. The dog tags are just a new helmet collection without having to pack all of them around when the caravan moves.
I would like to think Ezra is not wearing the dog tags as trophies. But as morning for the storm troopers that have been killed and reanimated by the knight sisters. He has seen the terrible things that Thron and the night sisters have done.
I don't remember which book I read long ago in Legends, but Storm Trooper Dog Tags are made out of Beskar so it probably just made his own chain mail armor to protect himself.
He could have been a hero among the Stormtroopers during the early years but when the Night Sisters showed up, their was a miniature civil war between Ezra's side and Thrawn's side leading to the creation of the Night Troopers
I dont see the Noti species as having one evil bone in their body so it makes no sense to me that they would stay by Ezras side so happily and willingly.
3:27 remember Thrawn is master tactician. He is husbanding his resources and decided not to waste resources on keeping Ezra in custody. I'm betting those trooper tags belong to the night troopers. Where is Ezra gonna go? He can't leave the planet, he doesn't have the resources to take Thrawn head on, or even guerilla style. Ezra has changed he will not be a Jedi, but between Ashoka and Baylon.
How Sabine found Ezra, was the most archetypal "trust in the force" version of coincidences stumbling together. Raider ambush, sensor destroyed, wolf horse finds local sentients, local sentients are part of the rebellion, leads her to Ezra in a location they wouldn't be in tomorrow. No one but a Jedi would have found him so fast and in this way.
Fun fact, and something I didn’t think about/notice till just now. The fight between Shin and Sabine in the first episode of Ahsoka was the first live action lightsaber fight between 2 women. Also, I never felt there was anything romantically going on between Ezra and Sabine, besides Ezra flirting with her when he first met her. That’s why I’m in the Sabine and Shin shipping camp, which would also be the first gay/lesbian couple on screen in star wars, and makes sense for those 2 characters, cause they’re both not very “girly”, and if Thrawn ends up killing Baylan for actually not killing Ahsoka off, Shin could very likely join Sabine and Ezra to get revenge on Thrawn, and/or continue Baylan’s cause in some way, depending on what that ends up being. And Sabine and Shin both have that rebelish, stubborn, and dark tendency nature, the latter Shin more than Sabine of course, so I think they could compliment each other well, learning a lot together and from each other. I don’t know if Dave would go there, but I’d love to see it, not for the sake of representation at all, which I don’t care about, but because it could actually make sense for the characters and the story.
@ncard00 honestly that would be great just the problem is that Disney or any other network been adding more gays which is not bad but lately they been over doing it especially in cartoons in my opinion star wars wasn't really about gays I think they would keep it straight as possible that's what I think
It would be interesting if it was abeloth controlling Ezra. You mentioned that he could be a bit mad. Who is an ancient demon that is known for causing madness? Abeloth. Instead of baylen being attracted to abeloth, Abeloth could be using Ezra as a conduit of some sort. She has had thousands of years to plot her return. She may be using it as a trap to kill all who can sense her power. In other words, she may be using Ezra to kill baylen to keep her presence unknown until the time is right.
@@LegendaryGoetz while I don't know how to feel about the theory, you can't blame them. Abeloth was the first fresh thing in SW for a long time, and is certainly fresher than the sequels. Hell, the Jedi and Sith didn't even kill her, they just put her back to sleep because she is far beyond their means to destroy. For star wars, that's fresh as fuck.
It seems too good to be true but I think it’s him. I think he did kill a lot of Thrawn’s soldiers but, he’s not the big bad Baylon is sensing. Especially seeing him with those cute little ugly rock snail creatures. I think people really need to get over dark vs light in these situations. He is a survivor and he can no longer live the rules the Jedi order enforced. I think whatever is calling Baylon, is protecting Ezra and that’s what Thrawn is afraid of. When Ashoka arrives the shizz is gonna hit the fan.
You misinterpreted what Thrawn said. Thrawn: "You've gambled the fate of your galaxy, on that belief?". He isn't saying that Ezra being alive would be a threat to the galaxy. Thrawn is just questioning if Sabine's belief of Ezra being alive is what motivated her to provide Thrawn a way back to Galaxy-1 -- which in and of itself is the fate changing catalyst of the galaxy. In other words, Thrawn felt a bit offended by what she said so he decided to express how he found it difficult to believe that she would risk the entirety of the galaxy on just the slight glimpse of hope that she could see her friend again, a single person. In other words this was Thrawn's version of a calculated rational clap-back to Sabine, he roasted her intelligence.
If you watched the show Supernatural for the 15 years it was on the air, then, you know never to expect a character who's been gone for an extended period of time to be the same person.
If we compare what Ezra was wearing before and after, his clothes seem to be in taters, and he could be wearing the tags as a form of armor in this unknown/uncharted galaxy to protect himself since resources could be scarce. The same could be said with Thrawn, due to resources being scarce he wants to focus on not losing as much as possible and stays away from Ezra bc that could cause further problems for him. In legends (not sure about cannon), there were sith who only existed without being bloodthirsty, or Ezra has become a Grey Jedi or even surviving by only acting in defense of himself like a Jedi.
I'm one of the posters that question Ezra. ... From my view it has a lot to do with Baylan's description of the planet itself. ... It's not that I believe he's turned to the dark side. It's that I don't believe it was him. ... He wasn't concerned enough about how Sabine got there & where others were. ... I mean, he must have seen Thrawns ship arrive to the Night Sister's fortress & know that they know Sabine is there. ... He was just too relaxed about it all, IMO. As said in this video, I also believe the odds are low it's anything but Ezra & simply not enough time in the episode/series to develop things with it all. Hey, shall see & know soon enough 🎉
"He arrived to early in the series" Some people just asshats i swear. Y'all gonna complaint if the series is "Overlonged" or "Wasting Time" if they don't bring Ezra in episode 6.
Thank you for bringing back the fun introductions. Missed them. Much better than "What's up guys." This is what sets you apart and puts you on a higher level of commentator as you show respect for the property more than others. Major props!!
😂 I Can imagen our last scene in the last episode would be Ezra with his arm wrapped around Sabine walking away all cheerful and at the last second he turns his head to the audience and smiles menacingly. Thriller style
Him caring for the turtle people kinda kills the theory that he’s turned dark, I believe if he turned dark we would’ve found him in kind of a darker, more solo situation. I don’t think that’s the kind of picture they were trying to paint for his character 🤷🏽♂️
@flykhai9672 could be as simple as staying hidden and fed till he's ready. They never dive into this but fr what're you gonna eat if you show up on a planet you've never been to 😂
@@TheGoldenBoot-cz1do it just seems really out of his character to do that because he was always super compassionate to others in general. But anything is possible for sure, being stuck on a foreign planet can do that to a man 😂
I don’t think Ezra has turned, but I do think that just like Sabine he is hiding the details of what living in this graveyard of a planet has cost him. It would, however, be very interesting if he was part of Skoll’s plan to break the wheel
I’m cool with that, that actually sounds awesome!! If baylan &/o shin challenge Ezra and he says oh yeah? And goes full sith eyes in response, then just turns it off and starts joking with Sabine after flattening them 😮🤷🏼♂️👍🏻
Yeah he's fallen so bad he's performing selfless Jedi acts like assisting that race of beings with packing up to move to another location. Very dark stuff
Reading too much into this. Yes Sabine found Ezra fast. Artoo found Kenobi in two days. Luke found Yoda in about a half an hour. On quite large planets. They have to cut down search time on planets or it would take its own TV series or movie just finding them on one planet, let alone the entire galaxy.
At the beginning of this video I imagined Ezra being Abolth in disguise. That weird armor Ezra is wearing is really a depiction of Aboloths teeth. If anyone is Aboloth in disguise it's probably Baylan. Just Saiyan awsome show
An interesting Theory ... Why not, Let Ezra be one with the glowing red Sith pyramid holocron. Wasn't he tainted by it , trained by it ? Didn't he defend Darth Maul for a little bit ? Let him be a dark lord....Disney has shit all over Star Wars...why stop there...lol Ezra has the traits of psycho path....look at his Trooper dog tag chain mail...only a killer, would collect and wear trophies like that. Trophy-taking acts as “a signature” and becomes part of a killer's murder ritual..Various serial killers would comment that they would use the trophies collected from their victims to 'enhance' their memories of the killings.
Ezra corrupted or driven to madness would be interesting, but the simpler explanation is more likely. Disney Star Wars tends to avoid complexity in stories and characters, so Ezra is probably just a pure, straightforward good guy.
Those aren't stormtrooper dog tags, its lamellar armor to tie into the nomadic lifestyle he probably had to embrace on the planet. Most nomads in history used lamellar armor since it was a quick way to make easily repairable and economic armor. Plus, stormtrooper dog tags are supposed to be disk things according to comics so
Didnt know stormtroopers actually have dogtags. He would of been more likely to have a row of stormtrooper helmets to use as musical instruments, rather that colect something so small
as for sabine finding him so quickly. i think it has allot to do with Andor and how that show was stuctured. lots of people complained about it been slow. with only 8 episodes to establish all main characters and setting up the plot people would complain if there was 2 episodes of sabine and her dog just looking for ezra.
Critical feedback - perspectives have to change. I think this is what Dave is trying to tell us. Baylon and Shin are the respective post "Rebels" example. Ezra's whole story is about being different; Kanan Jarrus had to learn this and train him differently. Even Bindu knew this and tried to get Kanan to understand it in Rebels. We have to stop thinking like the old galaxy -black and white, good and bad...that is Baylon's point when he says he wants to end the cycle. This is Thrawn's point when he wants to return to the main galaxy. This is why your theory is flawed. Ezra is way more powerful than anyone imagines because he can walk the line between both rather than succumb to only one...again just like Baylon...Ashoka and everyone else in the story that Dave F. is telling us about.
He's 100% not turned to the darkside. He acts civil and kind when he sees Sabine again, he protects the Noti natives, and he doesn't have any yellow eyes. And I doubt that he had knowledge of the same ability Palpatine used to hide his sith eyes.
People are overanalyzing the whole Stormtrooper dog tags chainmail thing, Ezra wouldn't exactly have the greatest options for protection on an abandoned world in another Galaxy.
What if Thrawn and Ezra had some kind of alliance/deal? It's clear that the Night sisters and also Thrawn fear a big threat lurking on Peridia (and I think a certain mother might be it). Thrawn knows and respects Ezra who has become even more powerful. Perhaps over the years Thrawn sent troopers out to measure just how strong he had become, and after Ezra bested all of them (without a lightsaber), Thrawn contacted him and struck a deal to report what he saw in the wastelands, while Thrawn and the sisters could stay safe. In exchange for his role as an informant, the Night Sisters taught Ezra some of their magic, so he could protect the nomad tribe even better. Idk if it's a stretch but it would be cool.
in episode 7 I wonder why Ezra was so eager to pick up a blaster but not the light saber after he said he didn't need a weapon. Does the light saber color change immediately to identify which side of the force the holder is on? It happened in the Star wars visions anime but i didn't know if it happened in the live action world too. Do you think that is why he wasnt eager to take it?
Dont. forget Ezra was a teen and fighting a rebellion he 100% has PTSD. Second humans are social imagine the isolation he must feel. However, he was allowed access to the world between worlds which has we know is a gateway through all time and space. The world would know Ezra would turn into something evil and would never have allowed him access. Good Ole Palps couldn’t get in he had to access to access it through a vision using night sister magik. I think Ezra is just a much Harder and Stoic version of his old self. But as we all know this could age like milk on a summer day.
Let's look at the fundamental philosophy of Grandmaster Yoda before jumping to these conclusions..."too quick you are to find truth without knowledge". Now let's look at how easily Luke found Yoda when he crash landed on Degobah. Its hasty to draw conclusions without the bigger picture. The Ashoka series has a budget, and it could also be that certain events are forced before they can be properly fleshed out due to that budget. How does one know for certain that Ezra hasn't been fighting for the light and is growing tired of the violence...much like Ashoka herself did. I feel it's way too hasty to draw the conclusion of Ezra's "fall" just as many assumed falsely about Luke's turn to the dark side in his attempt to defeat Vader, which he ultimately rejected. Its all speculation, and as Obi-wan would likely phrase it, 'your suspicion (based out of fear) clouds your judgement in the force'. Assuming isn't the Jedi way, but that of a sith acolyte...
Man Ezra has been there 10 years!! What do people expect? Plus they pulled that Ezra falling for the dark side of the holocrom before! How is it too soon? Hell it’s only 2 episodes left!
It's dumb to believe he'd turn to the dark side. He would never disrespect Kanan's memory that way. Ezra is probably the most empathetic character within the Star Wars universe. He literally made Hondo fall for his kindness. He made his choice when he denied Maul. He doesn't care about revenge. He chose to sacrifice himself. He doesn't need revenge for his choice. Ezra may be doing things his own way but at the end of the day, whatever Ezra does will align with his moral compass. Kanan believed in him. He wouldn't go dark side.
Turned to the dark side? Not unless they've pulled a last jedi on Ezra and totally screwed up his character. Why did we find him so quickly? Because some Jughead only ordered 9 episodes.
There are only two episodes left in the season. Some storytellers know when it is time to move the story along so they can get to the finale. Also... continuing to fight the enemy, regardless of the new environment, isn't proof of going dark; it is proof Ezra is still fighting the same fight.
I think that the hero going to the dark side is a tired narrative that they dont repeat. Also....then conclusion of the season 1 kinda killed most of that argument. He built a new BLUE saber.
I think they're trying to push it along since there's currently only 2 episodes left in the series, it was more to bring the characters back and setup a continuation of rebels :)
I think a lot of people are forgetting the Son and Daughter in the clone wars cartoon play a huge roll in Ahsoka. Ahsoka literally has the life force of the Daughter in her and I think that maybe the Son is going to be present at some point in the series. Maybe, this isn't Ezra at all and secretly the Son who is going to manipulate Ahsoka by turning her padawan towards the dark. If I remember correctly, the Son has the ability to shape shift and show people their dark futures.
I disagree with him being a dark sider would “detract” from the story. He was a literal kid during rebels and he literally spent a decade+ in a literal alien galaxy, with everything that comes with it. I think it would enhance the story.
Ezra turning dark would be so disappointing his whole arc in rebels was him being tested by the dark side and rejecting it I really hope he has become his masters apprentice A true Jedi to his core
One theory I wanted to put out there is the idea that we have a huge, world-ending battle coming. The reason I say this is because of Baylan and Shin's last names. Baylan "Skoll" and Shin "Hati" is suspicious as someone who understands Norse myths. In Norse mythology, Skoll and Hati are the giant wolves that chase the sun and the moon and are considered as one of the precursors to Ragnarok. Once they eat the sun and moon then Ragnarok begins. I don't know what Baylan and Shin would "eat" in order to begin this battle, but I feel like their names are significant.
I doubt that he's fallen to the dark side unless his goal to protect those natives is meant to mask him and deceive people into thinking he's still a good guy when in reality he has changed. But considering its been many years since he's been exiled I doubt it, those natives are still alive and grateful of Ezra for helping them so I doubt it. Good theory, I'd believe it if not for those natives. It is interesting to think about though as its not hard to believe either, we've already seen Ezra tap into the dark side a couple of times during the rebels series (mostly influenced by his anger when he wanted to protect people such as protecting Kanan by using his anger to command a Fyrnock to fend off empire forces and Maul attempting to manipulate him)
It does seem it was suspiciously easy for him to escape the Chimaera TWICE, both arriving in a new galaxy (to be fair we don't know the circumstances of his escape) and back to the original galaxy. What if Thrawn has twisted him through torture, it would then make sense to let him go. There's no way he didn't know where Ezra was. It was too easy for the night sisters to locate Ashoka.
I think they are using part of the unused Rebels Season 5 script. It was stated in that that in the other galaxy Ezra learned unbelievably powerful dark side force powers from an ancient Rakatan Darkside force user. It would explain the need to name drop that specific race in Andor. So the interaction between them feeling like it lacked emotion is because they are both hiding something with Ezra hiding the former and Sabine hiding the fact that she has to help Thrawn.
I agree with Ezra's interactions with the shell beings presence seeming to confirm his position in the light side of the force. However, if the rumours are true about Abeloth then someone with Ezra's force potential can't be immune to or ignorant to her influence. Going to be fascinating to see how this develops.
If anyone was paying attention, the difference between his recorded goodbye, talking about making the ultimate sacrifice vs saying he was hoping someone would find him indicate two contrasting order of priorities. I'm curious how he reacts when he finds out she gave Thrawn a ticket out to find him.
Let's talk about Abeloth first. I don't know about Abeloth being a factor because we haven't seen any obvious signs pointing to her. The "power" Baylin has been talking about might be the natural presence in the Force that the planet possesses. Kinda like how Dathomir has one. Turning to the dark side? I don't know. I'm going to draw on the second Rambo movie and the Traitor novel here. After Rambo escaped from the prison camp, his main focus was surviving long enough to complete his mission and getting back to base. He did whatever he needed to do to accomplish that. Used whatever was available. Used any means necessary. Jacen Solo did the same thing during his captivity with the Yuuzhan Vongs. He did what he needed to do to survive and later to escape. Used whatever resources were available. Used any means necessary. Both followed the belief: The ends justify the means. Ezra might have done the same thing - doing what he needed to do to survive. He probably escape the Chimaera after arriving at Peridia, then spent the past decade taking out any squads of stormtroopers sent to eliminate him. The main difference Ezra had from Rambo and Jacen was his empathy. He probably found the Noti, befriended them, and started to shift his focus towards protecting the Noti as well. He'll probably need some psych therapy after returning to the galaxy. Just like Rambo needed and got. Just like Jacen needed, yet didn't really get. That's assuming he survives. I originally thought that the Ghost crew would find a clue to Ezra's whereabouts and learn about Thrawn's as well. They head to the Unknown Regions, find them, and stop Thrawn once and for all. But in the process, they learn about rumors about Exegol and Palpatine's survival. They go to investigate, but are captured and later killed. Now I'm thinking that Ahsoka and company are about to learn a terrible secret about Peridia. I saw some preview clips on RUclips for Episodes 6 and 7. I'm wondering if they're fake now, but I thought I saw a figure that I didn't recognize. It led me to believe that maybe Thrawn encountered a race that would be a substitute for the Yuuzhan Vongs. Formed an alliance and intended to bring them back to the galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vongs appearing? No. Now I'm wondering if it has to do with those stormtroopers he has. No self-respecting Imperial commander would allow his troopers to wear armor in such disrepair. Anyways, back to the main point. Whatever it is they learn, they realize they can't let Thrawn bring it back. So they wait until the Chimaera links up with the Eye of Sion, and destroy both ships. Sacrificing themselves to eliminate Thrawn, the Nightsisters, the dark Jedi, and the new threat. but they do it before entering hyperspace. Last thing the galaxy needs is another Great Disaster.
I actually have another theory, while the idea of Ezra being manipulated is an interesting concept what if this isn't Abeloth herself. She's incredibly powerful, a literal force of nature that is embodiment of chaos. While that may seem evil to there is something to consider, the powers of which she can tap into. She could in theory take the form of Ezra and basically use him like a skin suit to escape back to the Star Wars galaxy and bring wrath and ruin on everyone who sent her to the hellish exile. Her taking his form and protecting those beings are part of a plan to gain support in getting her back. Plus, this would also explain the night sisters knowledge and belief system of the daughter and the son and their forms. She could have taught them about her family and overtime the Night sisters came to understand just how deranged and dangerous Abeloth really was and why they are so insistent to getting as far away as possible. Her presence could also be affecting the planet in a way that is made it to what it is now.
Yes, I think too that Ezra Bridger was not the same after had living on the planet of Peridia because Abeloth lives on this planet that had been exposing by the bad energy of the dark side.
I think what is more likely is that Ezra has such a connection to the force that he can call upon any creatures and maybe even nature itself against any attacks. He has shown connections to Loth Wolves and Pergill so I think it’s possible. I don’t think he’s been corrupted at all.
They used the shell beings to establish his goodness. He’s clearly been helping them and is admired.
This guy is just clickbait. He makes stuff up and is trying to make RUclips money off of the controversy with each new episode.

@@moosemax6346 he was far from turned when he turns down the of bringing his parents back that kind kills that because it shows that he let go
I have to admit, having Ezra be twisted up after being in this unknown galaxy would be an awesome twist. They have been looking and hoping to find Ezra all this time, and for him to be twisted would be an awesome twist. Awesome video!! 👌🏼 👍🏼
I think him being twisted would be Dave's way of bringing a insane jedi Joras C' boathouse from heir to the empire novels. Would be a good twist
I think an awesome twist would be if Maul's ghost was with Ezra this entire time.
@@shadowcatcherfox5186 Mother is on location ...
Indeed! I’d love it if something so dark were to happen.
He has seen the terrible things that Thron and the night sisters have done.
i think this would be the most likely.
I agree. Or maybe there was a mutiny against Thrawn, and those were the dogtags of those who chose to fight with Ezra against Thrawn
I don't remember which book I read long ago in Legends, but Storm Trooper Dog Tags are made out of Beskar so it probably just made his own chain mail armor to protect himself.
@@JadoCast That would be a good explanation. Bullet- and lightsaber proof armor would definietely help him stay alive all this time.
He could have been a hero among the Stormtroopers during the early years but when the Night Sisters showed up, their was a miniature civil war between Ezra's side and Thrawn's side leading to the creation of the Night Troopers
Ezra could just learn new force powers, and the dog tags are a reference to how he use to collect stormtrooper helmets and dog tags make good clothes
Yeah Ezra has been collecting storm troopers helmets from days old. He seems to have some kind of fascination with their armour and stuff they wear.
An insane Ezra would be amazing. If he turned Dark it would make sense.
Same thing I thought bro
star wars equivalent of mephisto from marvel😭
She's not the only Celestial being to be corrupted. Nakhash and Typhojem are there as well
Lmao all these abeloth shills… get outta here with these theories.
We've never seen stormtroopers wear dog tags. So Ezra wearing them is pure speculation just looking at style of his mail armor.
@The Stupendous Wave thank you for finally showing that Easter egg! No other channel has caught that yet! Congrats 👏🙌
Stormtrooper dog tags? Or maybe its just chainmail/scalemail armor under his clothes.
How could this be too soon to see Ezra? There’s only two episodes left and we probably won’t get a Season 2 until 2025.

Thriller style
Him caring for the turtle people kinda kills the theory that he’s turned dark, I believe if he turned dark we would’ve found him in kind of a darker, more solo situation. I don’t think that’s the kind of picture they were trying to paint for his character 🤷🏽♂️

I just dig the beard on Ezra. Makes him look like a castaway (which, in fact, he is).
I don’t think Ezra has turned, but I do think that just like Sabine he is hiding the details of what living in this graveyard of a planet has cost him. It would, however, be very interesting if he was part of Skoll’s plan to break the wheel
would be a sick twist if Ezra is actually the one that 'calls' Baylan.
Cowinkydinks and Guess Who I ran into happen all the time in the Galaxy. I'm not mad at all that Sabine found him so quickly, she's a mandalorian.
I’m cool with that, that actually sounds awesome!!
If baylan &/o shin challenge Ezra and he says oh yeah? And goes full sith eyes in response, then just turns it off and starts joking with Sabine after flattening them 😮🤷🏼♂️👍🏻
I love how wild and rampant the Star Wars Theories get every week, just for the actual show to go nowhere near it.
Yeah he's fallen so bad he's performing selfless Jedi acts like assisting that race of beings with packing up to move to another location. Very dark stuff
thank you the stupendous wave for creating more amazing media
Reading too much into this. Yes Sabine found Ezra fast. Artoo found Kenobi in two days. Luke found Yoda in about a half an hour. On quite large planets. They have to cut down search time on planets or it would take its own TV series or movie just finding them on one planet, let alone the entire galaxy.
People that is a very popular armor type in many cultures, especially the samurai who used it and we all know that samurai are a main influence
Yo, just me or Ezra looking like Moses. He leading those crabs to the promised land.
At the beginning of this video I imagined Ezra being Abolth in disguise. That weird armor Ezra is wearing is really a depiction of Aboloths teeth. If anyone is Aboloth in disguise it's probably Baylan. Just Saiyan awsome show
Seems like an intense reach to try to force the son theory to work.
An interesting Theory ...
Why not, Let Ezra be one with the glowing red Sith pyramid holocron. Wasn't he tainted by it , trained by it ? Didn't he defend Darth Maul for a little bit ?
Let him be a dark lord....Disney has shit all over Star Wars...why stop there...lol
Ezra has the traits of psycho path....look at his Trooper dog tag chain mail...only a killer, would collect and wear trophies like that.
True, Disney doesn't have the capacity to take steps in that direction
What if Ezra is actually becoming a grey Jedi? This would be super cool. I am all for this..
I wonder if Ezra might have developed a variation on Mace Windu's Vaapad
So.. how exactly do Stormtroopers wear dog tags?..
Ezra hasn’t turned to the dark side. He’s literally defending the defenseless. There’s nothing more noble that a stranded Jedi could be doing.
To be fair. Ezra hasn’t been on screen enough to really even get a feel for him
I thought Ezra might be wearing a chain mill shirt like Grogu.
Abaloth isn't dark side. She has both light and dark, but chaos. The father has both light and dark but order.
He's 100% not turned to the darkside. He acts civil and kind when he sees Sabine again, he protects the Noti natives, and he doesn't have any yellow eyes. And I doubt that he had knowledge of the same ability Palpatine used to hide his sith eyes.
He's been able to flip eye color since the finale of rebels season 2
@@BillyBasdthere was no change in eye color
@@BillyBasd That was because the sith holocron was reflecting in his eyes.😂
People are overanalyzing the whole Stormtrooper dog tags chainmail thing, Ezra wouldn't exactly have the greatest options for protection on an abandoned world in another Galaxy.
Ezra is giving me those Sinbad vibes ⚔️
“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
in episode 7 I wonder why Ezra was so eager to pick up a blaster but not the light saber after he said he didn't need a weapon. Does the light saber color change immediately to identify which side of the force the holder is on? It happened in the Star wars visions anime but i didn't know if it happened in the live action world too. Do you think that is why he wasnt eager to take it?
I don’t see dogtags, I see chainmail. Ezra is a good guy, I don’t think they would subvert his character growth in Rebels.
👍👍
erza would never fall to the darkside, filoni said it
Dont. forget Ezra was a teen and fighting a rebellion he 100% has PTSD.
Ezra is a war criminal who has literally always kept trophies from his kills. him having new ones doesnt mean hes gone dark
Ezra maybe the only Jedi that can use the Darkside without being controlled by it. Perhaps Anakin has been tutoring him. So, Grey Jedi????
Man Ezra has been there 10 years!! What do people expect? Plus they pulled that Ezra falling for the dark side of the holocrom before! How is it too soon? Hell it’s only 2 episodes left!
It's just lamelar armor not dog tags. Stormtroopers don't even have dog tags.
🙌
I found the reunion weird. It might be that the two actors have no chemistry together, but I expected more from the reunion.
Thrawn says “Your” Galaxy when speaking to Sabine does that mean that the Chiss are from this new galaxy and not from the main Star Wars one?
Can hardly blame Ezra as"WE ALL GO A LITTLE MAD SOMETIMES "😂 Anyone in these comments who said this infamous line??
I don't believe Ezra has turned evil. Possibly used some dark side abilities, sure, but I think Ezra would be in balance.
Same thought here
Turned to the dark side? Not unless they've pulled a last jedi on Ezra and totally screwed up his character.
Why did we find him so quickly? Because some Jughead only ordered 9 episodes.
"Some of our researchers started to get a bad feeling" LMFAO. You got a whole team there do you guy?
There are only two episodes left in the season. Some storytellers know when it is time to move the story along so they can get to the finale.
Also... continuing to fight the enemy, regardless of the new environment, isn't proof of going dark; it is proof Ezra is still fighting the same fight.
I hope they don’t turn him dark. His selflessness was what was so endearing about him
Agreed
Best Star Wars channel ever
No way he's dark sided, he is helping the villagers and the dog tags are trophies which he always collected.
Ezra turning dark would be so disappointing his whole arc in rebels was him being tested by the dark side and rejecting it
I really hope he has become his masters apprentice A true Jedi to his core
👍👍
One theory I wanted to put out there is the idea that we have a huge, world-ending battle coming. The reason I say this is because of Baylan and Shin's last names. Baylan "Skoll" and Shin "Hati" is suspicious as someone who understands Norse myths. In Norse mythology, Skoll and Hati are the giant wolves that chase the sun and the moon and are considered as one of the precursors to Ragnarok. Once they eat the sun and moon then Ragnarok begins. I don't know what Baylan and Shin would "eat" in order to begin this battle, but I feel like their names are significant.
GAH! you can't just put up creepy full-screen pictures of Abeloth like that without warning!!
Or Ezra has become Starkiller disguised as a clone of Luke Skywalker disguised as Ezra......
It is interesting to think about though as its not hard to believe either, we've already seen Ezra tap into the dark side a couple of times during the rebels series (mostly influenced by his anger when he wanted to protect people such as protecting Kanan by using his anger to command a Fyrnock to fend off empire forces and Maul attempting to manipulate him)
He hasn't fallen. Not a chance.
“The Blood Thirsty 🩸” lol 🤣 idk man. 🤷♂️ 😅
If you was evil or insane why would he befriend those little crab creatures
Maybe she's born with it.
Maybe she's Maybelline Sabine.
They need to be careful with how they explain Ezra’s time in this new galaxy. I really hope they don’t ruin all that rebels did
I think what is more likely is that Ezra has such a connection to the force that he can call upon any creatures and maybe even nature itself against any attacks. He has shown connections to Loth Wolves and Pergill so I think it’s possible. I don’t think he’s been corrupted at all.
I’m so happy Sabine found Jesus
