I'm so sorry hearing about your accident. Hope the ER doctor is right and you won't need surgery. No need to worry about videos while you are healing that shoulder, just take care and keep that arm still at all times; no movement up and down. My mom broke her shoulder years ago. I remember the orthopedic doctor's strict orders for her to not raise her arm. He even told her not to lay down and to sleep sitting up because he wanted her to keep that arm down at all times.
Praying for a speedy recovery. So glad those skier could help. Everyone help Jim out by watching older videos! So hard when you are self employed and have no income coming in.

Dear Jim and Brenda, We've been watching and liking your videos for a few years now, and really enjoy them. We've had and loved horses for the past 40 years. Ours are pleasure horses: at one time we had 12, down to 4 now. We sincerely hope and pray for your speedy recovery. So very glad our heavenly Father was with you. ❤️
My great grandfather used to log in Wisconsin in the winters and one year he broke both legs. So glad you were able to get yourself and the horses home safely.
Prayers for a quick recovery and you are back to logging soon. You are one tough Vermonter/New Englander - to worry about your horses, get them comfortable, get some of your equipment and drive the 50 minutes home all with a broken shoulder. Tough stuff is what you are made of! Feel better soon, I know you will get back to work in no time at all.
Jim the good part of this is you are alive and although your logging process must take a hiatus, you can always return. I had a similar injury years ago and was surprised at how fast it healed. I fell over the shoulder and got run over! It was split in two! I wore a cast from my waist to my neck with arm folded inside. After a month it came off. I don’t think I had any physical therapy. Anyway, hoping all goes well with your healing.

scared me when I saw the tree that could have knocked Jim unconscious. God was with you with your being able to disconnect and get back and a miracle that help showed up. I am so sorry for the injury, but sometimes we have to step back and reassess and have time to rethink things and get a new perspective. There are no mistakes with God. Most things work out for His glory and honor. God continue to bless and heal you for He is the great physician. Rest and recuperate. I think you deserve it. Thank goodness, Brenda, that he is a good patient. Do do enjoy your videos, even if you just follow Skippy around. You both are delightful.

Hello Jim and Brenda, This Maine fan of yours is so very sorry to hear about Jim's misadventure in the woods. Things like this happen so incredibly quickly while the healing time takes so much longer. My advice to you would be to be patient with yourselves and each other and remember your community family who are already more than willing to help you out while you heal. Asking for and accepting their help will make the healing process progress as best it can. God bless each of you and special blessings to those who help you while you heal = especially those hikers who helped you with the horses, etc. right after the accident.
Awe Jim so sorry to hear this happened to you. I know this is going to be so hard for you not being able to log for a while but thank God you are ok. That's the important thing. The more you rest the faster you will heal so take this time to relax as hard as that will be. We want you healthy and will be here for as long as it takes. And God bless Brenda for stepping up to help out. I'm sure she wouldn't have it any other way. You two are such a beautiful couple and I have enjoyed following you on your channel for quite some time. What a wonderful family. I do have a question for Brenda though. What happened to your milking cow? Do you still have her as I haven't heard much about her recently other than you weren't getting much milk from her. Wishing you all the best Jim for a speedy recover.
I am so sorry you are hurt Jim. Reminder that logging is one of the most dangerous jobs out there for a reason no matter how long and how experienced you are. Please heal up completely, we will keepyou in our prayers.

Sorry to hear about the injury; it sounds painful. Hope your recovery is speedy and complete.
Sorry to hear of your accident. Your a tough ole bull but them fallin trees can be tougher. Take it easy for a while and do what the doctors tell yah. I'm an old cowboy and wild swamp cows and young horses have layed me up many times. It ain't fun healin up around the house when the chores are callin ya. Get better soon. We'll be waitin to hear progress reports. Prayin for you and Brenda.
Ouch. Watching Jim move around makes me hurt. I can tell every move is painful. I hope you heal fast, Jim. I also hope that you use good sense and don’t do anything that sets you back as you start to feel better. Brenda, you are such a good person to support Jim even though what he does is scary. Everyone has to do what makes them feel alive. Stopping logging with make Jim pretty sad.
Oh no! So glad you are no more injured than you were, which is bad enough. Take those field trips, do things you would usually not have time for. Video if possible, but most importantly heal. We all are praying for a speedy recovery.
Jim, so sorry about your accident. Thankful that it wasn't any worse. Hope your recovery isn’t too long. If we viewers can help in any way, please let us know.
Someone suggested watching some of his old videos. That's what I plan to do as I've only recently subscribed.
Praying for you Jim my friend.
I am so glad you have the Lord who cares for your every need!
I enjoy every thing in your videos but particularly the chores in the barn. I could watch just that everyday! Thank you.
scared me when I saw the tree that could have knocked Jim unconscious.
Wishing you well Jim will keep you in my prayers!!

Your a tuff old bird, take care of your self, make sure you heal right before you continue doing your thing that you love, a long time follower
Thank God you didn't get hurt worse than this and praise him for sending you help taking care of the horses.
Bad luck never ends. Logging is definitely a dangerous way to make a living. Hope you heal soon.
She was dried up and bred and is now pregnant. She roams with the beef cattle
Rest and get well
I am so sorry you are hurt Jim. Reminder that logging is one of the most dangerous jobs out there for a reason no matter how long and how experienced you are. Please heal up completely, we will keepyou in our prayers.
