I had to come back with another BAND-MAID reaction! In this video I hear the acoustic version of Anemone that you suggested some time ago, I loved it! So emotional and their voices fit so perfectly together

In these moments you can definatly picture Kanami as a solo singer songwriter in the begining of her career. Angelic voice.

Absolutely love Kanami’s backup singing on this and Puzzle acoustic. Such a sweet, soothing voice. It really went well accompanying Saiki’s emotionally driven vocals.
I know like Miku she hasn't got the strongest voice but it'd be great if Mincho could do some more B-M acoustic numbers & have a more prominent role in the lead vocals :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 If would be great if BAND-MAID decided to go full acoustic on livestream. With Mincho singing and maybe playing piano, MISA and Saiki showing how they improved on guitar and some reinterpretation of their songs like “Jrockpi” did on her RUclips channel with “Different”

So beautiful! Kanami is an angel and so sweet! Saiki really puts the feeling and emotion into this song, with Kanami's backing vocals, is just fantastic! We Maidiac's sometimes forget Kanami was a singer/songwriter before Band Maid, and she really is great!
Kanamis background vocals are perfect in this version!
The decision to use only Kanami and Saiki during this performance was genius

I don't understand Chinese, but since I'm Japanese I understand their spoken words. Your translation is for the most part accurate. There's one part that needs to be corrected, though. Saiki's line "Look how happy you are." is misleading. It's actually a response to the words of one of the audience members, which are "You're happy, aren't you?" Saiki just repeated the same words without understanding what they meant.

I don't know that is a response to the audience, so I am confused when I translate the part.

No hiding on this one or Puzzle acoustic. Beautiful voice, superb playing - a legendary performance. Saiki's voice is just perfect, Kanami's angelic. Reminds me of early Simon and Garfunckle but way better. Want more of Kanami singing but she yields to Miku and Saiki on stage ususally. No ego just massive genius. A real treasure.

This is a great rendition of an already great song. And what can anyone say about Kanami's vocals here? It's like ambrosia being poured into my ears.

The album version of Anemone starts out as a ballad, but it soon kicks ass beautifully and melodically. It has some amazing guitar work by Kanami. It's a given that Misa and Akane are incredible. I do love this song. This performance is beautiful, though I like the studio version better for Kanami's solo.
They could overdub Kanami's vocals from the acoustic onto the studio version. Sure the difference in vocal tempo won't work but B-M are never conventional. Lol

You found Anemone, great ! It shows off Saiki's voice and what a great singer she is especially after the bridge where she starts singing again with hardly any music accompianment and her pitch is spot on.
Nothing else needs to be said. Personal and intimate are perfect descriptions of this version. Miku's lyrics seem very personal in most of their songs but this one especially. I would love to know the real story behind this song.

Do you think Mincho will ever do a side project album of her songs? I know she used to upload her acoustic songs to the Internet (where Miku found her) but I've looked everywhere & I've never been able to find any of her original songs :)
Gary Holloway well I "heard" that she removed all those videos when the band was created...(would really be interesting to have see those!) Working on her music composition and playing the lead guitar and being Miku's Tudor must take up most of her time and energy. Pity, she does have a lovely voice...Acoustic version of Puzzle and Anemone have her singing along with Saiki, in an amazing voice. I really hope to hear more from her in some point in the future.. A 3rd singer in the band (occasional song) would be interesting...
