Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash - who also performed that night - were both part of a package tour headlined by country star Webb Pierce at the Sheffield Community Center on the night of August 2, 1955.
After an outrageous onstage flirtation, the twenty-year-old singer asked the seventeen-year-old high school student for a date on the scrap of paper he was using to sign an autograph after the show.
The couple headed out in Elvis's pink Cadillac Fleetwood Series Sixty only to find themselves leading a spontaneous parade of vehicles through the small town streets. After stopping at a roadside diner for a late night repast of soda pop and burnt bacon sandwiches, they began an ongoing discussion about life, love, fame, and destiny. Unknown to Caroline at the time, Elvis had just come to a historic crossroads in his life.

Really sweet Elvis, being so philosophical and being able to drive around and sitting outside her house. He would never be able to do that, something so normal. 😅
Nice ❤
Cool interview
This is where I was born and raised yet so many say oh hes never been there. Really? Because I know my Mother took my uncles and aunt to see him there. It was right down the road from her childhood home 🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the interview
Awesome interview Joe! ⚡⚡ TCB ⚡⚡
I hope you enjoyed to all of them .
@@jkrein82 love them 🥰 it’s fun to hear first hand interviews and put the true story together from the media one

Of all the girls who met Beloved ELVIS intimately or in friendship, all praise the kindness, generosity, modesty, humor etc ,etc , that he had // The only one who speaks evil by, hatred by lies; out of greed, is Mrs. P BEAULIEU who even made a biopic to display her resentment //// Look for the mistake?! /TCB///
OMG, really? Just enjoy the interview and keep your obsession his ex-wife out of it. Geez…😊
@FrankieLovesElvis ...It's not an obsession but an evident contradiction..A happy and peaceful year to everyone!🙏❤
Yep Priscilla was n is a devil - Currie Grant told her how to trap the vulnerable young man who was grieving for his mother
@@buymiamitopalmbeachh you people are sick with your hate. You admire Elvis for being a loving person you should learn from him.
@@buymiamitopalmbeachh Prissy Pants had a mother who always craved celebrity. Her father was a Captain at the same base as Elvis. Priss was always hanging around the canteen with literally hundreds of single men. She learned early how to use her looks on men no doubt. How could you not? She knows she was very attractive.
Probably tired 🥱
not sure what you mean?

Someone in the comments said that Elvis didn't look happy.
Then someone suggested that he was probably tired.
I agree, it's possible he was.
Though Elvis always seemed very energetic...

He doesnt look very happy there.
I think she looks bit like his mom, no offense because he was attracted to such a look.
Omg
He was very shy in person, but in Public he took on a gregarious personality.
@@JCX-9It's the hairstyle of the day. I have a professionally done picture of my mom at 21 yrs and she looked like she was 35! Still a beauty but the hairstyles back then sucked 😂 they used bobby pins and didn't have rollers to style the hair.
Great interview. All the stories I have heard was Elvis picked a girl out of the crowd and then went out with them. He knew who he liked before he met them. Elvis forever! Most talented, kind, giving and was always a gentleman. Thank you for sharing this interview. You are very talented also.
All the females say the same stuff about Elvis
I want to hear unique things
