Very touching story about the burglary. Joyce Meyer said, "People don't always remember what you say, but they do remember how you made them feel." So many stories where people felt the compassion and love from Elvis.

Thanks Joe for telling us about Elvis the person who honestly cared about others. That's the love of God in him and Christian character. When Vernon told Elvis he was spending too much money, Elvis said: "Daddy I can't take it with me when I die, and it makes me happy to help others and I'll make some more money at the next concert..." Truly a remarkable man he was.

Elvis was such a generous and kind person, that's why you will never meet anyone who could even come close to what Elvis would do. Everyone seem's to have a special story who knew Elvis. Can you imagine the people he didn't even know that he touched with his love? I'm sure we just hear a small amount of how generous Elvis really was, his legacy will never die.

Moscheo spoke of Elvis writing checks to people for good stories when all along he was the topic of the best stories himself-. ..his love came in the form (thousands of times) of kindness & generosity. ..but these stories I’ve heard in this interview for the first time now, p are absolutely precious. ..precious pearls being exposed from people who experienced the comfort which Elvis awarded them personally. I’m so afraid that these shared interviews of his friends, fellow musicians and people connected to his tours will become increasingly rare because they’re all that much older now and likely harder to locate. I love this interview, thank you for bringing it forward on this venue. ..✨ Joe Moscheo is an excellent story teller because his memories are unblemished and lucid!

The story about his house in Nashville broken into. It’s just so sweet. Elvis was so concerned about people he just loved his family that worked with him. Elvis loved that flashlight. Someone in the sheriff dept gave Elvis the flashlight and he carried it all over. They said he took it to Sonny’s wedding. Lol

I absolutely loved this walk down memory lane. Joe speaks of Elvis with such honesty, fondness and admiration. These stories about Elvis's kindness and generosity are told time and again by those around him. Many of the band members and backing singers have been interviewed over the years and they recount their experiences of Elvis and without exception they all say what a kind, genuine, dynamic and caring person he was. What a great insight in to Elvis the man. Sadly missed.

I know how hard and rewarding it can be loving someone like this. Sometimes you want them to care more for themselves then others, and yet you are in constant awe of their humility. What an amazing story and I felt like I was there while he talked about it.... Enjoyed it so much. Thanks!
Love is not about money but Elvis has such an empathy to make you feel protected, seen, cared about and if it was something about money that made you worry, he would take that worries from you, because money is what rules the world and it was a means for helping people and to show his love and big heart because money didn't mean anything to him and he didn't want people to suffer.
Where are today all those JayZ's, Beyoncé, Kardashians, Rappers, big name singers with way more millions to give to their fans and help?!?! Instead they suck out the last dime out of their fans with some products, expensive tickets etc. to show off on Instagram how rich they become every day, like spitting in the face of every fan. They should be ashamed of themselves. The fans made them rich and they should give something back!
Poor souls that will never have what Elvis had.... Love, empathy and compression for their fans!

Yes he took pills...prescription pills that he needed for REAL health issues.
Yes he needed pills to sleep...but so did Michael Jackson. Michael took way worse drugs for sleeping that Elvis did.

@@caseymanuel7199 Being addicted to prescription pain and sleeping pills legally prescribed is morally and qualitatively different from being a heroin or cocaine addict. Yes, the dynamic of addiction is still present, both chemically and psychologically. But throwing the word "addict" around without making clear that this was someone suffering from painful conditions which required medication does a disservice to his character.

This is an incredible story. God Bless Elvis. What generosity and sincerity from a Man. This tells you how little he had before he became rich and famous and wouldn't stand to see his fellow man with anything less. :) This is why God took him so young.

very true Elvis was a very good humble genius man who showed love for his fellowman. we all need to learn to care more about people a learn from the kindest loving man who loved god who ever lived. a very compassionate man very emotional. big heart his reward was heaven god took this man so young. he knew Elvis heart Elvis was love a it showed by actions.

Joe you are right up there on my main list of people that have touched me when they speak about Elvis one Charlie Hodge Jerry Schilling Larry Geller Joe Esposito, we're Sunny West is sharing up close and personal stories of Elvis from the stage. the way that you share this story stands out in my head it's one of the top beloved stories I've heard of about him. I love and Trust all the men that I just mentioned and there are many more but especially you guys there's a love tone in your voice just like there was an Elvis's it's very soothing to hear the love in your voices I can tell who really loved Elvis when I listen closely and I feel like I can understand why Elvis gravitated each and everyone of you there is an interconnection and recognition of something special between human beings that are open to the light

This story is actually riveting, really special.... Almost makes me want to cry how kind Elvis is I think if I had his position and money I would be doing the same if not far more.... I have spirits visit me over the years and Elvis definitely gave me a special day last week I started a new job when I walked in the door to work there's a huge picture of Elvis the only picture on the wall when I left for the day I went to the gas station they were blasting Elvis music I could feel his kind 🌹Spirit around ❤️...
