    I've alway's said Elvis was the best looking human being God ever made. I'm not the only person who think's the same thing. Elvis wasn't just good looking he was just a good person all the way around. He didn't conform to the people who thought they were the big guy's, Elvis did thing's his way and oh what a beautiful job he did. Elvis's legacy will live on forever, he's been gone all of these year's and people still love him like he was still with us, wouldn't Elvis be surprised? I think he thought he would be forgotten and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

      @Let Your LIGHT Forever Shine I agree with you, Elvis had so many gifts from God. Thank God we were blessed to experience the life of Elvis Presley, it's just really sad it didn't last longer than it did. I think he's resting peacefully now. God bless you.

      @MOONLIGHT LOVE 🌙💓 Elvis had a beautiful heart too! That's what I love most about him! Marilyn would be 97 now? I heard her and Elvis had dated but you never know if what you hear is actually true. A person can't really be beautiful without a beautiful heart!

    I'm an ETA, and I recorded an entire album with The Jordanaires in Nashville. D.J. Fontana even sat in on the drums. I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep at all, and when I got their I was a wreck, but I'll never forget their kindness to me, and incredible, incredible voices, even later in their careers. It was the high point of my entire career. RIP.

    It's wonderful to hear stories from those who worked with Elvis over the years. I do think Elvis had great respect for all of them and looked on them as part of his extended family. When you hear each of them speak about Elvis individually it's obvious that so many of them loved and had great respect for Elvis. There are those who tell stories of Elvis that you DON'T trust and those who tell stories that you do trust. Gordon was certainly one who I trust when listening to his memories of Elvis. Somebody in power makes a choice but not the public - OK now there are those godawful talent shows but even then somebody makes a choice and they weren't around when Elvis was starting. You have to have a manager or you become your own administration and by all accounts that wasn't Elvis's strong point. And please leave god out of it. Elvis honed his own talent.

      Elvis gospel is really good too.
      He led a prodical son type of christian life. Meaning he fell into sin but then repented fell into sin repented on & on...Being double minded definately took a toll on his life. To live the christian life one needs daily help from the Holy Spirit and that only comes via prayer and yeilding to the will of God. Elvis let 's face it was the most tempted man there ever was as millions of girls adored him. Plus 50s 60s 70s there was a big sexual revolution going on.
      Guess Elvis wanted the best from both worlds.....but his faith and the grace of God my assumption Elvis is in heaven.....Yes he could sing country pop blues rock gospel and you could tell singing was not a means of making $$$ and a job but singing was his passion ! He loved to sing ! Happy at what he did.

      @@AlA-ok5jh Well said. I agree with you. I also believe that by the grace of God, he is in heaven. He never forgot his Creator and the way he sings How Great Thou Art live in 1977 shortly before his Home going, tells a story of so much reverence and respect to the Lord. I love the way he sings that song. 👍👏

    • @AlA-ok5jh
      @AlA-ok5jh 2 года назад +6

      The devil wants to destroy and deceive every life but he saw Elvis as a major threat as satan knew Elvis was not ashamed of his faith and his band / backup singers a big % were saved /born again in the Holy Spirit believers.
      Elvis possibly could of by God's help start to share Christ / his faith in even in a greater way. But yes he sings How Great Thou Art so amazingly ! In 1977 / and the Hawaii 73 concert ...WOW!
      Also Why me Lord? And that song : Help Me.
      ....just to show how God had His Hand on Elvis's life ...what are the odds the CBS Concert would be done just mere weeks before Elvis 's death. Plus the major awards were for his gospel albums.
      Tons of songs Elvis did could be #1 hits today but the powers that be in music would never allow that yo happen. In fact Elvis could of had 100x more awards for his songs but the powers that be in music have to spread the awards among other entertainers.
      Elvis is the only super star in music and his band singers were also so part of the machine....
      ....many stars but Elvis the Super Star. God bless.

    Enjoy this honest interview. Only thing I disagree with is giving the Colonel credit for anything. Everything he did (supposedly for Elvis) was self-serving. He was a master manipulator and stole from Elvis and his family. He was a crook and a con man. It’s heartbreaking to think of how much better Elvis’ life and career would have been if the Colonel hadn’t made such terrible decisions about Elvis’ career.

    • @SCO-96
      @SCO-96 Год назад

      I think the Colonel did a a solid job with Elvis up until 1962-1963. Once Parker decided to prioritize the "formula films" and soundtrack albums over live performances and films/records that would be an artistic challenge for Elvis, things went south in a hurry.
      He should have parted ways with Parker sometime between 1963-1965. After the comeback special Parker had a 2nd chance to right the ship and things were ok until the Aloha special. I get honing then act in Vegas and across the country before heading overseas between 1969-1972. Had Presley changed management around 1973-1974, his life would probably have lasted a lot longer.

    Elvis viene ancora una volta descritto come un grande lavoratore, attento a che funzionasse ogni cosa sul palco, e anche pignolo. Ma era anche persona carina nel porsi agli altri, bellissimo uomo , divertente, umile e leale, con un gran bisogno di attenzione e amore . ❤
    Grazie al sig. Stoker che ci conferma come Elvis P. sia stata la persona che abbiamo imparato a conoscere.

    Because the Jordanaires were under contract with Elvis he allowed them to perform on
    other artists records but he would not allow them to be seen on camera or get credit on
    the records. If you ever watched The Ozzie and Harriet Show at the end of each show
    Ricky would lip sync his current hit. His back up band The James Burton Trio would lip
    sync the Jordanaires part because they were not allowed to be seen. Later after their
    contract with Elvis expired they finally got the recognition they deserved. They sang back
    up on hundreds of records and dozens of artists and hold the record for appearing on the
    most #1 songs and billions of records sold.
