hi, last month i purchased xreal air 2. i have long site, i thought people with short site will have to wear prescription lens, but for my surprise long site people have problem in viewing. i ordered lens according to my site, but i am not at all comfortable with lens and viewing experience . SO IN VISION PRO IS THERE ANY TYPE OF PROBLEMS WITH LENS ?can we mirror iphone screen to vision pro ?
I got my prescription lens and it works perfectly fine! I believe you can with an app. Haven’t tried it yet. Will check it out.
Great video. Hopefully by time it is available in Canada the bugs will be ironed out. I guess it is a good thing you got the 14 inch m3 max since you can use the Vision Pro to do work lol dont need the 16 inch.
Haha yep. I’m sure some software updates should clear this stuff up. But yeah the worst part is not being able to use my apple id if I want apps etc. but more on that in my next video.
@@TausifHussainyeah I was reading about not being able to use another Apple ID other than a US as well. Hopefully soon you will be able to use your own without work arounds.

I'm returning mine. I was excited for this product and the demos were nice. Once I got it home and tried to do something productive with it I was disappointed. The potential is there but the apps and environment are not quite there yet. It is great for watching AppleTV content, but not for $4,000. I will be monitoring and hope too get back into it in a couple years. Perhaps the rumored Vision Air at $1,000 will be the sweet spot.

Does the Vision Pro connect to the MacbookPro without wifi?
Don’t believe so because they both need to be on the same wifi network. But I’m gonna try to see if there’s some way to bypass that
One thing I really hope you can confirm (no other reviewers mentioned it) is whether or not Vision Pro can be used outdoors under direct sunlight. Has Apple warned against that use in Vision Pro manual?
If outdoor use is not an issue (as all other headsets have), then Vision Pro’s use can be greatly expanded. However I seriously doubt Apple has made a technical breakthrough on that.
Great question! Nope no such thing in the manuals. Only thing mentioned is excessive heat but it says just don’t block the fans etc. so you should be good to use outside in sun!
Which is why lots of people are also using this outside and on the go. In my video I went outside with it and had 0 issues.
The struggle is real. But atleast you finally have the vision pro
How do you compare this to a quest 3?

1:25 He just said the oculus quest go: the first ever oculus is the same size as the Apple Vision Pro and I know that the go is huge (around the size of the 2 or so).. so I’m pretty sure he meant the meta quest 3

Do you own a quest 3 to compare
Not the 3, but I’ll try to get my hands on it
@TausifHussain that would be good, I own both and trust me the quality on avp is twice as much as quest 3, but I'm still using my quest 3 because it can do pretty much everything the avp can do plus gaming and it's an open ecosystem. Going to keep my avp to see where it goes, but as of right now it should cost twice as much as quest 3 not 7 times, but if your like me you want to try the best now.
@@tlacui76 How's the FOV and visibility/clearity comparison? I read that the AVP FOV is less than the Q3, and that it has some rainbow distortion around the perimeter that no longer exists on the Q3. Do you find this to be the case?
@kevinpolicoff5398 fov significantly smaller, I don't notice the color thing but I'm not looking for it, apple is twice as good as quest3 to watch movies and browse the internet but not 7 times, I'm still keeping to see where it goes and for Disney 3d, but I cannot reccomend this to anyone unless it's 1500.00
@@tlacui76 yeah... I can imagine it being good for people who want to work and are on the move often, being able to have a lot of virtual screens and stuff up for productivity. The tech might be simliar between the two, but application is vastly different. I use my Q3 to escape reality and have fun playing games. Heck, can't even imagine playing any sort of complicated game without motion controllers with various inputs. I feel like they left all of the "fun" stuff out of the product... leaving me very uninterested. when some might have been otherwise.

@@sharonb.9128 That is so absurd. I don't see any reason why this can't be a standalone product. Why would they design it like this except to make people buy an iPhone?

Actually no, this is not a requirement. Pairing with iPhone just makes it quicker to set up. But you don’t need an iPhone. In fact you don’t need any Apple product technically. The headset is standalone and can function on its own alone.

Loved the review but I can’t help but feel unnerved at all this. I love tech, but this really feels like too much. Like we’re at the final frontier in human-tech interfaces. Our most social element, our faces, being covered by a massive screen isolating us. I may sound like a Luddite but this is one of the biggest leaps in tech in my life that I just can’t get behind.
The luddites have the highest chance of surviving this coming wave
I completely get where you’re coming from. That has been one of my biggest concerns as well. And I’ve thought along the same lines as yourself. But I also realized something recently. We’re already past that stage and already have screens isolating us. Just take a look at any subway or public location. Heck even family and friends dinners. Everyone has phones out and staring at them. This jump in technology may further exacerbate the situation but I’d say the situation is already beyond recovery lol. Might as well enjoy the technology at this point 😂.
