Great info thank you! Just bought a Witt Machine Mod-1 suppressor and they ship with the Atlas and 1 brake. Going to have to get a few of the others you've referenced here for some of the other hosts I have!
Years ago when I built my 300 BLK I put an AAC 51T Brakeout on it as I wasn't ready to put myself an an NFA list. Now that I'm ready, AAC 51T is obsolete! Dang! Thanks for some great info.
Just put two Otter Creek Lab cans in jail. I've been looking at OD mount and was leaning towards Deadair Keymo, Keymicro, and xeno. This just changes my mind and will look into Rearden. Great info on all OD mounts.
Thanks so much for this video! I'm looking to go with this mounting system for a future can. It seems like you were saying that the breaks give you the best sound suppression. I would have always though a break would be louder in a can than a flash hider in a can. Is it really quieter with a good brake? I usually like to run flash hiders so if I don't have a can on its not as obnoxiously loud and it mitigates flash. What are your thoughts on the performance of Rearden's FHD vs R2S flash hiders? Thanks!
it just depends on the muzzle device. luckily rearden has been the best bet i have ever found. flash hiders in cans can wear out your blast baffle pretty brutally
Thank you for making this video. I have a ADM 13.9 mod 1 pnw. I would like a k can, but I want to stay legal with a pnw muzzle device. Any suggestions that would give me some good options?
@@bernardcaillouet5565 i think they have one muzzle device that can do it as does i believe liberty precision machine. Its hard to make a muzzle device that long and keep it effective, but the atlas xl will help with that as it keeps it from getting too close to blast baffle in those situations
rpb will act sort of like a tiny suppressor when its inside a can. its also going to tumble gas that exists its side ports. its also just aestically different way to do a traditional single port
Great info! do you by chance know how far the liberty eclipse FH sticks past when threaded in? want to add an atlas to my hybrid and I have 1.65" of clearance. trying to decide regular or xl atlas. thanks!
Solid info. Any idea how well the rearden double port brake actually mitigates recoil? Thinking of putting it on a 7prc. I’d like to be able to spot impacts with just the brake on and have the option for the supressor for certain shots.
Just got my Polonium out of jail and have the Atlas XL with Q cherry bomb on my 5.56 rifles. Ive noticed before ive even shot that if i crank down on the hand tight to the muzzle device, the QD will stay on when i unscrew the can. Suggestions???
@@320epdmk u shouldnt be cranking down on that joint. Its like over tightening the lig nuts on your car. Does swapping out an ASR bravo mount to an atlas (aside from size and weight improvements) do anything for back pressure. Less, more, or indifferent backpressure?
I've got a 12.5 aero upper with a 12.7 handguard. The inner diameter is 1.2 . When I measured from where the barrel threads start to the end of the hanguad is 7/8. Would the XL Atlas sit down inside the handguard enough to run a lahar 30 ?
Ive been watching your vids for weeks straight ive burnt myself out trying to figure out how to form1 the perfect build..help me lol. I want to do a 1.625 30 cal. I need mounting solution so I can run it on my 556 as well. I see some sites I was looking at I think have been compromised.
@@timb7397 keeping the taper clean (wipe it off with the end of of ur shirt or a rag periodically when u remove the can) helps make sure u always get a proper seal. U can also run a small thin layer of antisieze on the taper as good habit say every time u clean the rifle also do that.
Any recommendation on a mount for precision rifle with Diligent defense enticer S? 6.5cm, dedicated suppressor but will be removed each time to fit in range bag lol. Can't decide if direct thread or taper qd mount would be better. And which rearden or LPM brakes best?
used them both but havent directly compared flash at the same time on both- if more worried about flash over sound then potentially the liberty in my opinion
Can you recommend some muzzle devices(brakes/flash hiders/hybrid) that I can have pinned and welded on a 14.5” AR and is compatible with the Liberty Precision Torch and the Otter Creek Labs Polonium?
Rearden R2 flash hider adds 1.605" to barrel for P&W. R2 overrun on regular Atlas is 1.561". OCL Polonium is about 1.6" to first baffle. LPM Torch 2.25" to first baffle.
I'm looking at the rearden stuff, currently running the sdta qd stuff and wanna get away from it. I have one rifle with the sig taper but other 30cal rifles with square shoulder, do I just buy the taper mounts and use them on my square shoulders? Looking at the mini (ht) and there's no option for 5/8 with square shoulder
all the muzzle devices are square shoulder unless otherwise noted . the atlas is the mount that attached to the tube- generally most suppressor have the universal hub asr bravo 1.375x24 thread. then the muzzle device threads into the mount when you decide to attach the suppressor
i havent gotten to cut one apart yet so im holding out a yay or nay but i just dont think anyone makes or will make a product as accurate as darren does.
I know this is an old video but just found it. How does the fpm break function with the atlas? I read some negative stuff about it and this seems to be the only video that really talks about the fpm stuff. Thanks.
Two things, have you seen anything on Torrent suppressors muzzle devices and QD system and can you do a video on link to McMaster Carr part numbers for alignment rods?
I using sdta quick adapter with their flash hider (form1 30cal can), but it's came loose after couple shots. Do you know what I can do to stop it from coming loose?
they are not but left hand threads arent really needed with them as with the different surface finishes and additional shielding getting carbon locked can only happen with incorrect use - ie. left it loose.
Which rearden muzzle device do you prefer? Dpb, rpb, or sbp? I’ll be using it with the regular atlas in a Rex silentium mg7. Any insight on which is the best one is appreciated, thanks!
I'd argue that the options for keymo compatible muzzle devices means you're still in the clear, especially if you ever take your suppressor off your gun.

Quick question: which would you recommend? Atlas xl and dual brake(brake to 1st baffle 1/2") or XL with SP comp(1" to 1st baffle)?
I’m wondering the same thing!
What Rearden QD do you recommend for a YHM R 9 ?
i believe the r9 is 1.375x24 so regular atlas
Between the Atlas and the Plan B, the Plan B had deeper/longer sidewalls into the suppressor. So wouldn't the Plan B bet better than the Atlas?
Otter creek labs polonium K with a rearden DPB would I need an ATLAS or ATLAS XL?
atlas is fine
Reardon site says the DP is supposed to be used with the XL.
