Im so excited for season 3 finally get to see lestat story you should check out book the vampire lestat even though it's not my favorite in the series totally worth a read if you're curious about lestat life and yes Jacob will be in season 3 the showrunner has confirmed this

I do plan on reading the books. In the meantime, I'm gonna continue to go in these seasons blind. It's fun not knowing what to expect and being totally surprised by everything. But I will read each book once the series is over with.
