Yes. You retain all your original functionality. When you make your purchase, we'll get your VIN. With the VIN, we can pre-program the unit specifically to your vehicle's configuration before we send it. No dealer required.
My old system already has a navigation system do I still need to put the one you showed in or can I just hook up the old one in the new screen? (2014 f-250 king ranch 6.7)
Do you sell a product to be used with the Sync 3 upgrade that moves the USB port from its factory location under the pop-up part of the dash to maybe next to the brake controller or somewhere else? I don't like having a cord sticking out of underneath the dash.
We do sell the hub, which you could install where you wish. That said, it wouldn't be a factory install so you would have to make some cuts to the console. Here's the link to the SYNC 3 USB port... www.infotainment.com/products/ford-sync-3-usb-media-interface-module-hub?variant=12177181671460
@@Infotainment_nav I’ve seen the hub in the kit, I wasn’t clear. I’m curious if the length of the cord that plugs into the hub is long enough to relocate that hub down next to the 110 power port or perhaps to the console just below the dash?
It depends on the Year, Make and Model of the truck. But yeah, that's what we do. Go to our website www.infotainment.com. At the top of the page you will see a Year, Make, Model selector. Put in the year, make and model of your vehicle into the drop down, and you'll see all the factory nav radio upgrades available for that particular vehicle. Or you can call 855-632-6287 and speak with a tech advisor. They can look up the vehicle for you, let you know your upgrade options.
Just got a 2014 f250 lariat and only got one key that’s got the mykey features set how the previous owner had it set. How can I reset the mykey features. The key is not an admin key. Ford says I have only one option and that’s to bring the truck to them and order a new key then wipe out the old key and reset the computer in the truck and then replace the keys. They said it’s around $500-$600 to do. I have seen people use the forscan to reset their keys. Any info???
In most cases the batteries are connected in parallel, meaning it's still 12 volts. It can be rewired, so if you bought the truck from someone else, ask the original owner. Military vehicles with 2 batteries are more likely 24 volts. If you're the original owner, and the vehicle in question isn't a service or military vehicle, most likely it's 12 volt.
Absolutely, Cooled seats will be retained in the Sync 3 Upgrade from the Sync 2. However, they may be in a different menu since the Sync 3 has a much different interface.

No. This is the same SYNC 2 radio you would have received from the factory. Since Ford didn't offer Apple CarPlay, it won't come with that feature. Or you could choose one of our other Factory SYNC 3 Ford radios upgrades that does come with that feature. Or you can choose to go with an aftermarket radio not intended to go in the vehicle. Thus you risk losing functionality. It's your choice.
Not at all. You won't find a factory radio with all these features, and that doesn't require any extra equipment purchases for this price. Add in the fact you don't have to pay for installation or programming from the dealer and you're saving money.
We do not sell cheap equipment. We sell OEM quality equipment that is fully tested, pre-programmed and procured based on your Vin. There are plenty of companies that sell cheap products. We want to provide a part that we are able to guarantee works and will continue to work. We are confident enough in the product we sell that we are able to warranty it through installation and up to two years depending on your selection at check out. We feel our pricing is competitive as we are comparing our pieces to the cost of getting a new vehicle as opposed the cost of an aftermarket part whose quality is greatly inferior.
@@Infotainment_nav for the same price as the kit, I can upgrade head unit, add an iPad, upgraded subwoofer and door speakers. I get yall ain’t selling “cheap” equipment but at what point does the availability for the average American wanting to upgrade become available???
We use only OEM equipment. The Ipad you are talking about was not built for your vehicle so it will be inferior when it comes to retaining factory features like backup camera and with the new addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto you can still maintain the level of quality the OEM equipment that was built alongside your vehicle had and most of the features that the Ipad provides with limited saftey restrictions. This also does not break the factory warranty as this is Ford equipment. OEM isn't for everyone but the quality speaks for itself and is very noticable. Most customers I speak to would not appreciate the look of Ipad solutions.

are the climate controlled seat controls in the sync 3 climate menu? i didn’t see the heated and cooled seat controls when you were going through.
If you have the controls before the upgrade you'll get the controls. If you didn't have the controls they will not be there.
So.. If my truck came from the factory with heated and cooled seats the controls will be there?? Is that correct?
Where is heated seats and heated steering wheel in climate control ?
You won't get those controls in the climate control. They can be programmed.
