    Your channel is quickly becoming my favorite art channel on YT. I have never explored fluid acrylics, but I will be now! I loved the video on you print your prints. Do you scan them or take a photo to capture the image of your work before you print it?

    This is great! A really useful practice to get into and something I want to work on to help bring cohesiveness to my compositions. I paint with watercolour primarily but can easily see how your method can be applied :-)

      It is such a good practice to get into! It is so fun but also helps tremendously with understanding the colors you are working with and how they work together (or don’t work together lol) this absolutely applies to watercolors too🥰

    I'm just starting out my painting journey ~ thank you for all that you're sharing and teaching. You make me feel much more equipped for trying this! My one question right now is how do you clean your brushes, and, do you clean them in between changing colors?

    • @AnnieQuigleyArt
      @AnnieQuigleyArt  8 месяцев назад +2

      I’m having so much fun sharing everything I have learned over the years. I am so glad you are here! I’m so glad that my videos have helped you! To answer your question, I just rinse my brushes in water between colors. If it gets to the point where I feel that the water is getting too muddy and gross I give them a good thorough rinse and refill my water but that usually only happens when I’m working on big canvases :)
      This is the brush cleaner that I use when I am finished painting and I’ve had mine for years. It cleans and conditions your brushes to help them last longer :)

    Hi Annie, I have Liquitex Green Gold and it seems very different in color to Golden Green Gold. Your thought? Thanks for this video!

    • @AnnieQuigleyArt
      @AnnieQuigleyArt  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! You know….I had to think on this and I think the first time I used green gold was actually the Liquitex brand and I loved it lol. But that was so many years ago and I have been using Golden for so long that I can’t quite remember. Liquitex is slightly more cost affective so I wonder if it’s not quite as richly pigmented as Golden’s Green Gold?

      @@AnnieQuigleyArt I will do a comparison, as I just ordered the Golden brand. We will see!!!

      @@AnnieQuigleyArt I got my Golden brand of Green Gold this week. And it is much "greener" than the Liquitex brand, which is much more golden. Just an update, as promised!

      It is so interesting to me to see the difference in pigments between brands! Now I have to know which you prefer! If I’m remembering correctly I think it was the texture of golden’s green gold that I liked better :)
