Pulse velocity ; As per indian standard 4 to 5 km/s =good concrete 3.5 to 4 km/s = medium and doubtful (need to improve) Less than 3.5 km/s = bad concrete.
It will tell the quality of concrete in the pier. But will it tell about the quality of the pier for the purpose it is serving? (i.e. the structural adequacy of the pier to support the bridge) How much it can help in Pier Condition assessment?
Structural adequacy is done during the design of pier, then only construction is executed in site. After execution of construction, now they are testing the quality of concrete whether this concrete satisfies the characteristic strength used during the design process. So if we get more or equal characteristic strength that's used during design, we can say that the pier is Structurally adequate. Good luck.
..plz do a favour kindly show me the thickness of pier ...in is13311 part 1 there is mention of thickness is only 600mm thick concrete will be taken for test so plz describe it for my better knwldge
Is any method to calculate compressive strength from velocity?
Well done mr ENGINEER.
GOOD JOB
sorry sir but velocity should not be 3500 km/sec but it should be 3.5 to 4.5 km/sec and it is considered as good. Above 4.5 km/sec is excellent.
Sir distsnce is more then what happen in that case?
Please upload your all videos on DT and NDT in Hindi
How much pulse to be released for the path?
Where are u from 🙄
sir what should be the range of this pulse velocity?
muhammad zeeshan if v>4.5,concrete is good,between 2.5 to 4.5,concrete is medium rated,if

See d is:code 13311 part 1 bro
How you calculate length of pier sir?
He didn't calculate. He was told by the contractor 😃
Is code 156 revised in 2018should be followed and not 1992. Mr khan you should correct yourself and follow the latest code.

Bro by this test we knw about d quality of concrete which means pier is capable to carry d load...
How to calculation of indirect method

The IS code used for upv testing is IS code 516 part5/sec 1 (2018) ,length should not be more than 2.5 m.
hello are you working at that site???
They are just doing their work...... so mind your own work(Study).
how i can talk to bipul talukdar sir?? & you also??
just go Assam and meet them
no reading is shown ? than what's the sence of showing it.
thank u sir...
are you working any construction field??
No they are making there homes...
I have one problem
Good
Not clear understanding...
Confusion is a how many reading a pier
As much as possible
Is 516 sorry
I am the first viewer here
Thank u sir
