    Without capping to core is wrong procedure ref
    IS 516 part 4 2018
    And correction factor formula is give
    F=0.11N+ 0.78
    Where N is hight / diameter ratio.
    Graph 📈 is in old IS 516- 1959

      Dear, Minimum diameter of greater of three times the maximum nominal size of the coarse aggregate or 50 mm,
      Diamond segmented core bit in Hilti ,
      Size - 50 mm to 600 mm dia & length 300 mm to 2000 mm

    you just applied two correction factors..one is L/D & other is equivalent cibe strength...but there is another according to IS code & which is dia correction factor, for this it will be multiplied by 1.03 for dia more than 75 mm

    what about steel inside, you take still also, so strength had came more....in cube at the time of concrete inside no steel, kindly explain.

      Due to the steel coming inside the core, its strength decreases because it gets a voids of core sample..

    Strength of individual core shouldn't be less than 75% of fck I.e.18.75 but 2nd reading is 15.78mpa which is unacceptable

    Sir but according to one Clause.. individual cylindrical strength should not be less than 0.75 fck. Iska kya matlab hoga?

      Because actual compression strength of concrete core is taken as 0.85 times of specified cylindrical strength.
      cylindrical strngth is given by 0.85fck
      As per your question :- 0.75 fck,
      Fck :- characteristic strength of concrete.
      Yani ki 0.75 × 25 ( 25 Grade of Concrete)
      18.75 N/mm2 is individual strength but average strength not less than 0.85 fck
      0.85 × 25 :- 21.25 N/mm2..

      Kyunki cube control condition mein rakha Kar check karte hain aur core Foundation se nikal Kar Lete hai aur check karte hain, ISH liye as per IS code 80% required hai..

    Individual cube strength also should not fall below 75% .. but in ur case for 2nd sample it is less than 75% what about it?

      The core individual sample acceptable limits + - 15% of average strength , As per is code - 456 & 516 , but core average strength not less than 85% of Grade of Concrete, individual Strength less than 85 % acceptable but average strength not less than 85%.. as per is code guidelines..

      @@anootalks4077 Yes , If the strength of any one of the three cubes is much more or less than the average strength, then it is discarded and the strength of the two cubes is check the average strength for , And the strength of individual both cubes is + - 15% of average strength and average strength not less than 85 % of the grade of the Concrete .
