►Ingredients for the Chicken
3 to 4 medium chicken thighs or breast
A bag and meat tenderizer or rolling pin ;)
1/2 tsp. black-pepper
1 tbsp. paprika powder
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. salt
►Ingredients for the Flour Mix
2 cups or 240 grams plain flour
2 tsp black-pepper
1 tbsp. white-pepper
1 tsp. red chilli
1 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tbsp. salt
Cold water in a large bowl
►Other things you will need
Sunflower oil for deep frying
1 tsp. dried basil or oregano
3 to 4 seeded brioche buns
Thinly sliced Iceberg lettuce
Spicy mayonnaise (Recipe • How to make Spicy Mayo... )
Few bowls
►Ingredients for the Coleslaw
1/2 cup julienned carrots
1 cup thinly sliced white cabbage
1 cup thinly sliced red cabbage
1/4 cup julienned red onion
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. black-pepper
Pinch of salt

I've spent a lot of time working in Al Haleej. I once spent the whole of Ramadan there and honestly? I have never seen so much food in my life. It was all anyone thought about and every iftar was ridiculous. I attended a few and I could not keep up with the amount they were eating.

Made this for dinner today. Followed your recipe to the Tee. Made my own mayonnaise with 2 egg yolks, Dijon mustard and sunflower oil. Burger tasted incredible! Husband asked me me make again tomorrow. I urge anyone to try this.

Man, oh man! I made this 2 hours ago for my 13 & 14 year old teens. They tore it up. I didn't do the slaw, just made the chicken, toasted some bread with some cheese. They loved it! You are AWESOME!

Mate I tried this last night and it was perfect!!!! i added streaky Bacon and Habanero sauce with my mayo and melted American cheese instead and I put a leaf of iceberg lettuce in stead of the slaw as well ! it was divine!
