The countries used to be one in the same but they’re so different and it’s amazing seeing the love people are sending 😊

Macdonals all over Pakistan are actually very well decorated modern buildings, and the ice cream machine works in every location.
Plus you get a nice environment, clean and modern architecture.

I love that in Pakistan the McDonald's isn't written in English but in the local language, just makes the restaurant feels more unique than American McDonald's
I’m Australian with some Indian heritage. Someone said Pak was similar to Australia and I totally agree but also that is interesting because it’s so different to india. Obviously in Pakistan people are after that more authentic McDonalds food, and India really Indianises the menu. Really fascinating.

As a Pakistani I believe that every food court in Pakistan is just awesome. In this video he was in the McDonald's of Islamabad, Pakistan. But as I live in Lahore, Pakistan so I visited almost all the McDonald's of Lahore. They all are well cleaned. So I must say that every food court of Pakistan is just love. I am not saying this because I am a Pakistani but I am saying this being very honest. By the way no hate to anyone. Much love ❤️.

The double Big Mac is available in Australia. Also, the Fried Chicken was available as a trial in South Australia but was discontinued after about 6 months.

Oh how I lament the lack of good continental food in India. But our food in general is much better, actually definitely in the top 5 in the world (Mexicans Pakistani, Lebanon and Italians maybe better, depends on taste)

The thing is in Pakistan McDonald's can be afforded by the upper class but in india , middle class enjoys in it. I am an indian but i lived in Islamabad and once bought a burger from there. It cost be i think around 200 rupees back in 2007-08 and there wasnt any burger that was cheaper than that. Over here , we had 20 rs burger too
Now Pakistan is more pure goodness at it's finest Mmmmm those big mac's and fresh crispy fried chicken french fries this would be my type of McDonald's too US doesn't have fried crispy chicken I could eat here everyday if I was there🙋♂️🤦♂️😋😋
You should try Hardee’s Pakistan if you haven’t yet. It’s my favourite and honestly better than KFC & McDonald’s.

It's in South Africa as a Chicken Foldover. It's great, just a normal wrap here instead of the local bread used in the Pakistan version.

@@scholaroftheworldalternatehist I was thinking the same, but actually the clip at 7:49 is from Pakistan, so for some reason the editor put clips of Pakistan in both the Pakistan and India parts, another reason is the locality, so in Pakistan there are only 76 outlets but in India 160+, McDonald's is relatively rare & has outlets only in develop areas in Pakistan & India. Thus better roads, the McDonald's featured in the India part has same road as Pakistan but they didn't show it.

India also has drive thorugh McDONALDs it in mumbai , bangaluru,mysore AND IN MANY CITIES IN INDIA ...it just he choose Delhi mcd that too such which is in middle of city ... pak mcd he showed is a drive through but india mcd he showed was not a drive through .. india also has drive through mcd much like those which we saw in pak .... even much better than what we saw in pakistan right now in this video...And as indian myself I like our drive through mcd more than normal ones ...

I like the fact that how beautifully MCDONALD'S has shown creativity in different countries regarding their menus keeping in mind all the food habits of people in that particular region.

It's usually not Mcdonalds, just the people who own the franchising rights for that location, so usually an individual who owns that singular Mcdonalds location, or an individual who owns multiple.

I am an Indian and been to Pakistan (Sialkot, Islamabad and Lahore) I actually loved Pakistani food / restaurants more than ours (exclude Purani Delhi streets of course 🤪 the best ) Islamabad is indeed very beautiful. Our capital needs renovation.

This brings me back so many memories!! I went to India when I was 17 to stay with my family, me being from Canada, India was a HUGE culture shock for me. McDonald's was some sort of comfort for me. I use to always get the Maharaja chicken burger and the Aloo tiki burger 😋. The fact that the fries tasted the same as back home and fountain drinks were supper fizzy always comforted me. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories for me ☺️
Mate I know what you mean, me being British born and bred when I go and see the fam when I was young they didn’t have many western toilets for example and the food as well gave me a upset belly so whenever a familiar food place like McDonald’s or Pizza Hut offered some comfort in a foreign land

@@amss6433 india I diverse if u come to northeastern part then ur belly will be satisfied less spices boiled food but tasty...and western part a lot of spice but sweets like jalebi ...dhokla and all and south food will sooth ur belly as well with steamed idli and plain dosa or with less spicy vegetable mix..
Same but instead of Canada to India I went to Pakistan when I was a kid and McDonald's was one of th few places that I felt remotely similar to Canada

@Musa a real oversimplification of things, its true that Urdu is used in media, education e.t.c, but it's totally wrong to say that regional languages are only spoken in rural areas. In cities where the majority of people are from a single ethnicity, they mostly speak their regional language e.g Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and even in older parts of Lahore. And this is only about Punjab, in other provinces, even more people speak regional languages.

Lol the modern and nice McDonald's you're talking about is not just in pakistan but here in india too like in my area too if you know about maharashtra state there's a district called pune in it and it's one of the area is chakan where I live and even we have this modern McDonald's where you can order from this screens and pay online or if you want you could directly go to counter for offline orders and also such clean roads too 😗 so it's just that this guy has Choosen old MCdonald's in india while new one in pakistan
I am born and brought up in UAE but i loved pakistan McDonald's they had so many options. we tried the new branch on the outskirts of abbotabad so modern, beautiful and clean and the food was just awesome❤️❤️

-There are Urdu signs all over the streets. An early 2000s Maruti 800 or Suzuki Mehren car with Green Autos on the sides and a Moped on the street that's not even from Old Delhi, somewhere in Pakistan maybe. You can hardly see all these things on Indian roads these days..

mcarabia is one of the most popular things at mcdonalds in pakistan i think; and the garlic mayo (not the cheesy). also pakistanis love breads but mostly naans or tandoori rotis vs stove top.

Not at all true , both india and pakistan has dirty roads as well as advanced, it depends on the city and state obviously, like for ex Islamanad has more cleaner roads than Delhi ,but also note the fact that new Delhi has more people or population than Islamabad too so the management of cleanliness is much easier than delhi but Karachi is undoubtedly the most ugliest and , unclean place in Asia 100% true nd not to mention u guys had the CPEC and US aid to build roads and all and also ur EXTERNAL debt is now 80% of ur Economy be strong pakistan! U have a lot of debt!... But pls be open minded look both sides b4 judging btw ,just stating facts india has 99.3 % of sanitation coverage and pakistan has 60% of sanitation coverage hmm i think in the future we can work together and sort each others problems out!!

There isn’t a comparison between Indian MacD and Pak’s. They have different styles of food. Indian MacD sells more veggie stuff and Pak’s more meat. Pak’s is more aligned with the western style. Indian MacD has its own style.

Maccy D in India used to do a Lamb Maharaja Mac burger. It was glorious. I'm not sure if they still do it unfortunately.
