    What has made you smile today? 🌞

      What made me smile today (in fact just about an hour ago) was my 16 month old son opening his eyes, looking up at me, smiling, and then falling asleep again.

    That is a great quote. "I need to enjoy my life now" instead of grinding and working hard, delaying how you actually want to spend your time. Otherwise we will all be old wondering why we wasted our years waiting for the right moment

    Yes Seve I'm so happy you realise it now you know I'm near my 68 and to spent my all life looking how to make life better ... nothing can replace the time you waste ...

    My lifestyle sounds so similar to yours haha. Haven’t had a car in years and am more and more into simple living.
    I love having few things and more time for quiet and spending time with loved ones over working all the time to try to be rich.
    I still struggle sometimes in feeling “behind” or something when you see so many images : people being rich, having lots of kids etc. And trying not to compare to them.
    I think being yourself is the best though. Best wishes from Canada. Thanks for being YOU and real. ❤

      Thank you so much for this lovely comment Anna 🥰 I'm glad to hear there are more people like me and not everyone is consumed by busy life and materialism 🌱

    I love that you mentioned that you've been writing some poetry. I go through phases where I write a few poems a week and then others when I don't write any at all. Your video made me think about whether those times of creativity happened when I was living a lot slower - I'm not completely sure yet but it's possible that's what I'll find now that I'm mindful of it 🙂

    Hey Seve! I've just discovered your channel and been watching some of your videos. They're really well made and you have inspired me to look into slow living again (I tried before but not really). Also, I've always wanted to go to Finland and the great vistas you show here have confirmed me I definitely should someday! Anyway, keep it up, love from Uruguay 🇺🇾

      also could be due to the fact he lives in finalnd the happiest country around the world. The society there thinks different and i feel like that could be a big factor

    • @SunnyKindJourney
      @SunnyKindJourney  Год назад +2

      @@autonomyseeker6082 Yeah I'm very privileged for sure to be able to live here but I think you can create a balanced life wherever you live in the world as it's based a lot on being present and finding peace from within 😇

    • @autonomyseeker6082

      @@SunnyKindJourney I agree! Do most people there live a simple life like you? If not, what would you say the mindset there is like for people when it comes to living?

    • @SunnyKindJourney
      @SunnyKindJourney  Год назад +1

      @@autonomyseeker6082 I would say more simple & slow than the average western country in a sense that here we really want to live close to nature. But still we have a lot of materialistic things as most people have a decent salary. About other topics that I talk about like how I view money, success & career, I'm different from others. Here those are still important social factors even though we would be more simple living

    Well I do all the opposites for sleep 🤣 Except no phone, that's my only rule.
    I can confirm that a busy full mind is shit, you go to sleep and you're thinking, I eat and I think, I drive and I think, it's a nightmare to be honest 😅
    Good thing i don't read the news and spend time on tik tok😂🙃

    • @SunnyKindJourney
      @SunnyKindJourney  Год назад +2

      I used to be like that too 100% of the time. I think it's pretty normal these days but I feel like as species it's not. We used to have much more stillness before and now it's just so easy to flip a phone every time you feel you have nothing to distract you 😄 Eckhart Tolle's book The Power of Now has helped me a lot to understand the importance of not thinking all the time. Highly suggest it 🙌
