Showing me how to do this is a big help lol. I def was loading it wrong. I was loading the staples on top of the spring and it wouldn't work lol. I'm glad you talk about safety. Anything that can fire a projectile is dangerous, and should be treated the same way as any firearm. Never point unless you intend to fire, know what's behind your target, unload when not in use, etc. Store safely too. Very nice video. 💥👏👏👏

Oh thank you. I had the vise grips on it. As a kid I knew how to use every tool my dad owned cause I helped him on all his construction projects at home. He taught me not to be scared of the ladder

I have the same staple gun, it was my dad's so I'm saying it is probably from the 70's, it's been around for years and still working great, my dad always put a drop or two of oil in the gun, where he did, I can't remember, must be ok to do so, Arrow is a good brand

I had to bend/adjust the little curved latching part shown to open and add staples. To staple a 1/4" bunch of paper pages together, place pages on a soft surface (foam, balsa wood, etc.) Shoot staples into paper while applying force to stapler. Bend over protruding staples on back side of paper stack.
