Thankyou for serving our country! Thankyou for showing how to unjam the staple! Appreciate you sir!
thanks for the video! just bought my first T50 today. Subbed!
Easy! Thank you. Greetings from Australia.
Am I the only person who watched this video and attempted to un-jam my stapler before I realized that I loaded my stapler incorrectly? 😁. Thank you for posting, I do appreciate knowing how to fix things!
I was ready to throw away my staple gun and buy a new one but that all changed in the span of a minute after watching your video. Thank you!!!
Thank you! I was two seconds from literally losing my mind and throwing this thing out
Great Video! Easy to follow and best part...it works! Also works on Arrow T2025. Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing this.
God bless you ! Thanks !
Excellent video, it worked Thanks.
You're welcome!
I was pulling out the loader and putting the staples in that. NOPE. You put them in through the bottom, and push the loader back in and latch. I think I did the same idiotic thing the last time I used the staple-gun, probably over 5 years ago. I think I will write a reminder on some duct tape and stick it on the damned thing for the next time.
Amazing
Thank you i eas ready to throw mine away and buy a new one
Thanks for the inspiration. TIP: if you repeatedly get jammed staples, then check out the spring/pusher mechanism that keeps the staples engaged to the end of the loading dock. Do this while the mechanism is uninstalled from the stapler. If you find it getting jammed along the race, then you will always get jammed staples. Take a mill file and file the sides of the pushing mechanism (the upside "U" shaped thing). Dont go crazy, but file away on the faces for 20-60seconds. Test it in the race again. If its still getting stuck and not sliding freely, file again. Once it slides in easily under the power of the spring, use some spray grease (I used lithium) on the race to help the spring move. It will glide. No more jammed staples. I should make a video of this and earn money from it.
I want to say thank you so much. I have an Arrow stapler I couldn’t use for over a year. Followed your instructions and it was the same problem you showed. Pulled out the jammed staple with needle nose pliers. Saved me from buying new. Working great, now back to building birdhouses.
Thank you!
*My T50 wont shoot staples. No matter what I cant imagine whats wrong with it. Seems like nothing is inside.. Unless smaller staples someone used & cant see*
Arrow has manufactured 50 million of this type of stapler. By logical extension, your de-jamming video should have 50 million views.
You’re a genius at staple guns Soldier
Thank you so much for this video 🙏 I borrowed this same exact stapler from my Dad. I went to buy more staples and forgot to check what size and bought the wrong size and they got stuck 😅🤦🏻♀️ I'm too embarrass to call my Dad and ask how to fix it, but thankfully your video saved me from the shame 😅👍
1:09 as soon as it hit this time, we figured it out! Thank you so so much!
Those things ate such a pain in the butt, it took me a whole day to load one up, till i founfmd you can change sizes in the gun, it is a rare video, veruy good for house wives, or women living alone because no one teaches us these simple mechanical things.
Thanks kevin.
Many thanks for the demo. Easy when you know how. I'm a U.K. Airborne Vet and I love how you called it a
" Firing Pin. " ( Well... I guess it is a Staple GUN!!! )
Thank you for showing this fix it!
Sometimes we have to use those staple guns for odds and ends, chickens are going to be very happy to have a home good shelter.
Thank you ! You helped me save the old stapler of my dad ! I could not imagine such a well constructed tool not working, one staple was jammed at the end ! Thanks again !
Thanks 4 the tip! Word of caution be careful the nut doesn’t fly off and roll away into the leaves (like mine 😂)
Yep, I've got one of those, but thats not the reason I'm here. My problem is with a ''Plier'' type stapler. '' STAPLE 31'', that compresses a staple through two lots of material BETWEEN 'JAWS' and folds the ends over. ALL JAMMED UP, and of course, not accessable. I just can't see how it disassembles. ANYONE ?
Thanks ... That was very well explained and Illustrated. Appreciated your help in solving the problem!
thank you kind sir
Thank you for your simple but informative quick step by step instructions.
Ive been trying to get some staples out ofmy staple gun since July 2024 and tis now Sept 2024.
Thank-you so much. Mine jammed and I was flabbergasted that I couldn't get the staple out after years and years of using them. So of course "RUclips" clicked on you and 30 seconds done.
It wasn't a full staple it was only one prong that wasnt coming out any other way. It stuck to my magnetic screwdriver. lol
Thank you! I just bought a staple gun( sonof a bieatch is defective)I cant pull out the loading gun! I tried removing that thing at the bottom.... so I had to unscrew it first. Lol, Thanks:)
I have a Trojan stapler and with it you don’t have to unbolt the mechanism. It pivots on the bolt you unscrewed and you just need to slide the mechanism back using two finger holds on the mechanism. With yours you may be able to just push the mechanism back with a screwdriver between the nubs to release the mechanism and pivot it out to clear. Simply then just click it back into place.
I put the staples behind the "firing pin" and was wondering why the staples wouldn't come out.
I wasn't putting the staples back in correctly.
Came to fix my staple gun jam and found a Leatherman infomercial instead 😁. Jk thank you for sharing problem fixed.
Thanks. Mine jammed last night, borrowed my sister's from next door and hers jammed! Just fixed them both.
I was already heading to the store to just buy another one but thought let me check YT first and thankfully found your video! Thank you a bunch. Turned out it was just jammed. Life saver! Now back to work for me! :)
Thank you so much! I first watched your video how to load and unload a staple gun, then I got a jam, which you have now helped me with as well!!
So, the million-dollar question: why do these staples get jammed-up in the first place?
Thank you for the help youtube dad. I was also able to find, and fix what was causing the jam.
Thank you. Im working on a coop of my own right now and this was a major help
Thanks I thought I was going to have to buy a new one, works perfectly!😊
I don't have a jam, it just doesn't shoot out my staples unless im holding it downward at a slight angle. Anything you can do 😭
Thanks for your help, prevented me from purchasing a new Staple gun.
came here after jamming my hammer stapler and wanted to know if it was any different on the hand stapler, good to know it’s the exact same way
This just seriously saved me a whole lot of pissing and moaning, thank you!
Sir, you are SO THE MAN. Excellent tutorial. You made my day. Thank You.
i need a chicken coop for my baby chick's..
Very Helpful! Thank you!
I have to say, though... if this was designed by a woman, it would be a push button release instead of this awkward way of holding two tools and the staple gun... I hope Arrow is improving their products!
My Stanley has a pull release! Yay! (I own 4 manual and 2 electric staple guns, lol.... I stretch canvas onto frames often and when one jams, I pick up the next one)
Thank you so much for your figure out how to get the Staples in or close the Staples gun😊
million dollar question = staples have a flat side and an angle cut side at their tips . which side goes into gun first ? or doesnt it matter
Thank you thank you thank you so very much for this video it was a great help to me.
Thanks, I knew it had to be something simple. John
Thank you for sharing ! I needed my T2025 for an art project & got so frustrated when I got new staples & it wouldn’t work after a few years of collecting dust in my closet. Couldn’t remember why I stored it away in the first place. You saved the day ❤
Hey can the stapler be used with out the pushing rod? An can staples be too large for a gun
Thank you so very much for teaching me how to do this. I had an important project that I was working on when my staple gun jammed up. I was able to finish all because of your help. Thank you.
the bolt on my Model T-50 is a flat-head, not a Phillips
what do I do ?
That's not the firing pin that's the magazine follower.
Thank You Greatly!! Salute & Happy New Year!!
Kevin, get a powershot, the handle presses in at the opposite end, much easier to press all day. They run about $20 now but look at yard sales. I just use a little 3 in1 household oil on the spring, (sewing machine oil works really well) and it rarely jambs. Good video btw!
I bought one and it didnt work for crap and always jammed. If you look at other reviews on Home Depot it seems many others dislike it also. I also found it wouldnt drive staples flush with the materials. I really liked the feel and mechanics but it was a no go for me. I stick with my old beat up arrow t50
Thank you this video was very helpful!
Thank you this video was very helpful!
My problem is that I cannot get the magazine back in.
Your method worked better than my sledge hammer method ! !
Thx, never would have figured that out on my own
We’re not all Americans watching this Leather man?
Thanks for the video. It worked on my T25
Thank you for making this video 😊
I could just hug you right now!! Ugh thank you
RUclips is the best, thanks for this video

Hokies rule.... Cavs drool!!!
Thank you. I almost went and bought a new one I was so frustrated.
Thanks for the video!
Very helpful thank you
This is the best! Thank you!
Thank you sir for sharing !
Thank you!!! This was a lifesaver
i jammed my stapler during work and was super close to having to buy a new one. This saved me alot of money
Thankyou for saving the day again!!
Oh, man, you just saved me from wasting at least $20, on some new, piece of garbage! My staple gun is an older one...built to last, but I couldn't clear the jam. It worked, so many thanks!!
Mahalo 4yrs later from Oahu. I knew it was simple, putting Xmas stuff up on house and staple gun is a necessity. Mahalo again saved me about 50 dollars CHEERS
Thanks so much! Go Cavs
Thank you
Thank-you sooo much!!
Thank you very much. It worked!!!!! Great instructions. I can get back to upholstering of an antique rocking chair.
Nice!. Thanks
God bless you sir 🙏
Thank you so much!
I hate the arrow t50 with a passion. I never had anything impact my well being so much as this stupid moronic of a design arrow t50.
Arrow has the audacity to make the Arrow t50 and arrow has the audacity of actually wanting money for this stupid piece of metal arrow calls a "staple gun".. it's so obvious that arrow spent no r&d and so obvious that arrow did the least amount of testing after they manufactured this stupid waste of metal.
Thanks so much :)
Well done budy 👍😁
Dude, I love you
Thank you so much
Thanks bro
Thankyou
