Despite all the hate that Maddie gets, there is no denying that she is a beautiful, elegant dancer. She looked positively weightless in this, like a dainty feather!
but she got way too much favor. I can dance like her, but no one i know supports my dance dream. so i wont be able to do what she does.

@@risharao247 if she got opportunities for being in the show, instead of being frustated by your own problems and enving her for what she's achieved, gain those opportunities, try harder. ik you can :) (not hate just advice

I’m not confused Ava deserved her win.
The competition was definitely rigged, because:
1)Maddie lost to Ava
2)Mackenzie won a title that she wasn’t competing for
3)Kalani won in a duo-trio category with a solo
And most important:
THE WAITING ROOM CAME 2nd

Because it normally is 😂 its Rachael sage, she did vertigo, birthday, this, all God creatures, happiness and her music is used in the playing with matches group too

I believe it's that way because Rachel is one of Abby's close friends so Abby and the producers have permission to use her songs on the show.

Broadway Baby Maddie had better choreo which was fault on Jeanette’s part not Ava’s. But Maddie was better in every other area imo
I absolutely adore Maddie's hair, here. It really suits her face shape lol. I'll be honest - this wasn't my FAVORITE solo of hers (The Woods is def a favorite from this season!) but she still performed beautifully. I do wish her choreography would be switched up a bit more, b/c based on the dance's inspiration and her costume I was expecting something a little different, but she was still gorgeous nonetheless!
I like this solo. It's slow and elegant with beautiful lines and costume. Am a little shocked(not gonna lie) that it lost to Ava's. Nothing against hers but I feel hers wasn't as competitive to win.
I really liked maddies turns in this, they seemed very cleaned cut ^-^
At the very beginning when she was sitting at the edge of the stage there was just something abt that, that gave me chills
Ava is an amazing dancer but Maddie has everything, facial expressions, the mood, the techniques etc

The producers failed to support their claim that the competition isn't rigged this week. Kenzie won 1st overall but she was 4th in her division. Kalani won in duo trio for a solo. This entire thing was rigged!!!
I love the way her dress looked when she spun. it was so beautiful
This is my favorite Maddie solo- something just feels different about it and makes me cry everytime I watch it

...I actually liked Ava's solo better. Even though Maddie's the better dancer (tbh I think Nia could beat Ava if given the chance) this solo was boring, not very impressive, and just too easy for Maddie. If Maddie performed "Birthday" from last season, she probably would've won.

No they did have solos. They were cut because they were affected by the nationals fakeness and chaos and all that. (Kalani: first in duo/trio, Kenzie: fifth/fourth place but won a title she didn't even know existed)

No matter how much u hate Abby & Gianna , you can’t deny that they are magnificent choreographers . They put so much effort in everything they do . Ik you probably won’t agree but the Zieglers were one of the most talented people on the show , and I’m not just talking about the dancers , im talking about EVERYBODY , they always won and had amazing technique , no wonder why Maddie was the favourite .
Maddie is a beautiful, talented little girl. I just wish she would get choreography that really shows off her talent.

now this is why maddie roleplays are so easy. every solo consists of
- multiple sad faces
- a few leaps
- a few kicks
- hundreds of turn combos
- the same old transitions she's been using all season.
- a couple of butt rolls xD
I like how she went close to the judges and sat on the edge of the stage in the beginning.
Listen, simply put, the ALDC do not have the skill to match Maddie's capibilties, so all her dances appears the same. So much to the point that Maddie seems bored and unchallenged. She could have blown this competition away with GOOD choreography, but they do not know what to do with Maddie. Frankly, I am not even sure why she is still there. She has outgrown this team, and is now being held back. This kid needs to work with So You Think You Can Dance level choreographers. No shade to Gianna et al..but Maddie needs to be challenged. I feel like I have seen this dance in many ways before, but it really isnt Maddie's fault. Stage performance amazing as always, but the dance was well below her abilities. I feel sorry for this kid.
Maddie is someone special, she is a good and tender dancer, I like how she performs this solo, I literally love it, I love the song and the dance woow it's so great ❤️💙❤️
I actually feel like Ava's win might be legit. Since Lifetime loves cutting out parts of dances, I think that Ava's dance was probably magnificent but, the "magnificent parts" were cut out to surprise everyone when Maddie lost.
By the way there is a choreographer's cut the dance was magnificent.

I know this is old, but Maddie is simply an artist with her dancing. Watching her never gets old

ava and maddie are both beautiful dancers, ava's lines are gorgeous, but maddie tells a story, and ava doesn't. when maddie dances, i'm just glued to her, and she sucks in the audience. ava just doesn't have that connection. maddie should have won.

I mean yall cant deny they're dances this season were amazing. Especially the waiting room it was truly a masterpiece. No offense Ava is a beautiful dancer but how could this work of art lose to a mediocre character piece- Also I keep wondering the waiting room is the most meaningful dance ever it has a lot of meanings and is truly perfect so I dont get how it lost like howw?

I was shocked Maddie lost to Ava. Ava was horrendous and this is one of my favorite Maddie solos. Her turns were on point and her legs were gorgeous and she had great facial expressions

Ok, MDP's group dance was very well done. ALDC's really told a story. Ava's solo doesn't compare to Maddie's solo. So I agree that MDP's group should've won, but I totally disagree about the solos.

maddie’s dancing is not the reason she didn’t win, this choreography is lacking. there were some lovely moments of movement but she wasn’t challenged in any way. she could’ve done this solo in season 1. she was capable of so much more

I love the dress that was chosen for this dance. I think one of the reasons that people say Maddie's lyricals are all the same is because whoever sings this song also sang Timeless and about a thousand others so even though Maddie's dances are all very different, it's all of the songs that sound the same.
the competition was completely rigged/fake. Maddie’s performance and the groups were... so stunning and just so beautiful a million times better than bda’s! I can’t believe it but the whole time watching aldc’s performances this episode i was feeling something i wanted to cry because it was so beautiful... and then.. no offense but bda.. beats them? their dance was no where near this timeless piece and waiting room!
