  • After sleeping in the back of my car for the night I kayak into a remote pice of coats and land on the rocks. I crank the bury and before I even get a line in the water there is big snapper swimming around at my feet. The fish are nothing and it’s all action from the very first cast.

      @@OceanNationCo Do you use any leader and how long would you use for this type of rock fishing? I’ve seen people use leader thats wraps around the reel about 3 times. Is this ideal for using braid?

    • @OceanNationCo
      @OceanNationCo  7 месяцев назад

      @TokoTEE hey bro. On my snapper rod I run about an 1.8 meter 60lb fluorocarbon trace. Sits just below my top eye and it is a good length to cast with. I’ll use a wind on trace if I’m fishing swelly conditions on my own. Extra length to grab hold of and land good fish in the swell.
