Yea I thought it would be pretty average on a normal day. It was so swelly and dirty there though. I went back the next day and was catching good fish every cast. I did walk back out around the rocks at low tide. Will definitely try again in a big storm 🤙🏽
@@OceanNationCo yeah Kua , opito and Otama were bloody pumping when that storm hit ... we went out to the Mercs right after the high pressure change and got some good fish

I'm heading out kawakawa ways Sunday morning to search for a spot. If no luck then I'll just resort to the waitawa bay wharf 🤙🏽

Fancy releasing the fish that swallowed the hook, one of the craziest things I've seen in fishing, unjustifiable
If the hook isn’t in a critical spot they have a good chance of survival. They rust out pretty quickly.
