I found your channel by searching for videos of the Honda eu2000i generator. So glad to have discovered your channel. Great video, great content! I love the fact that you cover everything that can be a no-start issue for these generators. This is a very under rated channel. Keep on wrenchin'....thank you for making these videos.

you're gonna have like 38.5k subs soon. This was excellent . you're kind of over the top with the cleaning when you did the inside of that fan shroud I was like "seriously? 95% of people would not do anything, 4.8% of the rest would wipe it with a rag and call it good. Next video I'm going to expect you to re zinc plate the carb bowl lol.

I agree about the subs. When I looked at the number, 4200 when I viewed this video, I was like...how is this possible?

The mighty youtube algorithm. My other channel has over 25K. Starting from the bottom is very difficult on youtube.

Awesome. Surfing RUclips tonight and found this. I have the same genset I just was given by a neighbor. Big oil leak for years. Tore it down. Same broken mounting tabs on the base and side frames. Great idea on the repairs with epoxy! I will do the same. Was looking to buy new base and l/r sides for $150+. A new o'ring on the oil level sensor and it should be good to go back together with new gaskets. Thanks. Really helped.

I will never understand how people will let their machines get into the shape that you started with. Some people are just stupid. That generator is a high dollar machine.

a magnetic dip stick is a must on these , The amount of metal they collect is astounding , much better than flowing around in there like sandpaper

    Very thorough JR!!
So, corrosion on the ignition/spark circuit, valve lash and crap in the carb/fuel tank along with general abuse were the main issues??
    Those EU versions are quiet!
    Nice job!!

      Thank you.
      Well..........
I have a few more videos coming out that break all of this down more technically. The Valve adjustment was done last but it ran before adjusting. The fuel system was destroyed by MAY have likely been ok up until the time it broke, MAYBE. I likely believe it was the ignition connections off the main harness that caused it to meet its demise.
