@@Benja_boy well there should be a dlc that gives you a side story where you can be a sith and not only that, but in the actual game, it would give you the option to choose a red lightsaber which wouldn't affect the main story.
So as of may 4th, if you have beaten the game you can start a new journey + and by doing so you should have an outfit option to change to a inquisitor. It gives you a red lightsaber and a dark side look, and personally it’s badass.
I wish the included emitters and switches and stuff from the movie lightsabers. Closest thing we got was Eno Cordovas emitter looked just like likes ROTJ saber
@Matt from Wii Sports It's a single player game. Who would care? It's not cannon to be able to switch your crystal colour whenever you feel like it, either. Hell, none of the saber customisation is strictly cannon.
@Matt from Wii Sports Cal grabbed a grand total of one crystal. Just the one. And why would any character be shallow enough to change their crystal for the sake of a colour. By Disney's canon, you wouldn't be able to wield such a crystal as effectively as it is bonded to the energy of the one who first uses it. Also, it is not only Sith who wield a red lightsaber. Any user of the darkside, or individual with an abundance of hatred and rage can channel that energy into a crystal to bleed it. Hell, I question whether Malicos even intentionally bled his crystals, found natural red ones on Dathomir, or created a synthetic one. Hell, perhaps it was even the dark energy of the planet itself, which drove Malicos mad, that caused his kyber crystals to bleed. Or if we look at Legends, Red crystals exist, though they are incredibly rare. Adi Gallia, a member of the Jedi High Council, wielded a crimson saber until the Sith returned, when she swapped to a standard blue. And while that part it strictly legends, Adi herself is cannon in the Disny-U, appearing in the Clone Wars Series, where she fought alongside Obi Wan and was killed by Savage Opress. Again, I don't care about story accuracy for optional aesthetics in a game. They have the assets in game already and people express interest in being able to use them. Whether or not Respawn choose to do so is another matter. There are still a lot of bugs to patch out, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume they could possibly add a red blade or the inquisitor outfit for the game.

A master and an apprentice" Taron Malicos is neither a Jedi nor a sith, just a power hungry madman. The Sith are an order, like the Jedi. You can be a force user, but if you're not part of the Jedi order, or at least follow their teachings when the order itself is no more, you are not a Jedi. Crimson is a shade of red. are you really going to argue colour hues?

I feel like even though its against the story, red should have been an option. They should have had it unlocked after Cal gets Trilla's saber. Would have been cool to see. Also they should have had the inquisitor ring saber as a customize option
It’s only after the latest patch where you can remove Cere’s part that Lightsaber customization really became fun for me, and I primarily stuck with Material like Chromium and Umbaran Metal, just cause stuff like Gold red and black seemed silly to me. I Also love how Magenta has the most intense ignition 😂
Actually, you could remove her hilt when you craft your own in that ice cave on Illum. I dont play the game on patches and when i got to the point in the game, you can remove it. It even adds a second category that says "emitter" and now you change it cuz well, he crafted a new one. And yes, you can do this without updating the game at all cuz i did. People are just slow and dont realise that you can cuz their eyesight is bad i guess lol.

The lightsaber from Qui-Gon Jinn is definitly the best one. Also because when you fight with it, it looks normal. The other lightsabers are awesome as well but the double lightsaber ruins the design

After Cal fixed his lightsaber I wish you could choose to wield 2 individual lightsabers like starkillers clone I know he can cuz it’s a split Saber or choose to make it back into a single blade lightsaber or a permanent double bladed one

I made Luke Skywalkers lightsaber by using the first emmiter as cere, the switch umbaran or mygeeto (premium), the sleeve power and control, the last emmiter as duty and resolve and the material as either durasteel chromium or alloy metal

For my playthrough, i picked Mace Windu's saber but went with the cyan blade because that's my favorite color.

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of comments like yours talking about Mace's and Sidious' lightsabers being "X" material. Honestly, I just went with whatever looked best to me, and didn't really pay attention to the names.

I made Luke Skywalkers lightsaber by using the first emmiter as cere, the switch umbaran or mygeeto (premium), the sleeve power and control, the last emmiter as duty and resolve and the material as either durasteel chromium or alloy metal
