Thank you for a very detailed review. Ref microphone , does the internal mic shut off when external one is connected ?
If an external microphone is connected the internal microphone doesn’t work. As of now... I cannot get a clear answer from Akaso regarding the external microphone... at first they said they are sending on to test out...now they avoid all the questions regarding the external microphone...
@@RedskullPro I had the V50 pro with external mic the internal mic picked up all the wind noise on bike helmet. Some said you had 2channels and that you could suppress one channel to get rid of wind in post edit. I tried and lost all audio track. Then a week later I dropped it. I would buy again if I could know internal mic would shut off.
Can you zoom while recording?
Can you charge the camera and use the external mic at the same time?
Can you take pictures while recording video at the same time?
no and no
What do you use to record your videos?
Hey, I use a Sony A6400
any idea where to buy spare battery for v50x?
Thanks for the great video, just a random question will OBS studio recognise this camera on its streaming service
I didn’t try and I don’t have it anymore to try it out… sorry
Very helpful video, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Is there any conclusion whether an external microphone will work?
Since I am not getting a clear answer from Akaso I am gonna say that at this time it isn’t compatible with an external microphone.
Now with the latest firmware it is compatible with external microphone
