There is a brand new Akaso camera! The Akaso Brave 6 Plus! Full review: ruclips.net/video/uCMCGhExA9E/видео.html
did u notice the image on the ELite is more Bluish ? i tried Auto and i tried Sunlight in color temp but it will give me Bluish video always, have u noticed that ??
Great videos man! Though, can you add a battery test segment on your reviews XD
Sadly they already discontinued the Brave 6. Best camera they ever made, so of course they stopped making it, made a worse one and increased the price.
@@alsinakiria Right?? I was trying to find where to buy it online after seeing another video of his. The camera seemed amazing. Sad.
The V 50 pro seems to have a better colour quality and warmer colours overall, IS this a setting or it's just how the camera is made
I love how you placed all three cameras side by side so we can see the difference. Thanks for helping me choose which one to do!
i'm glad the video was useful! Thanks for watching!
This was absolutely amazing - I am about to purchase a camera and you literally were the best in helping me choose. Thank you so much this is the perfect way to compare products from the same company.

That was about the best Camera Comparison Video I have seen. I really like the fact that you had all cameras mounted together on a frame. The comparison in various filming times of day/night was also a very fair test. Just bought a V50X and maybe should have went for the Pro...no big deal, I only need it for footage when I am over water or "action" filming. I don't want to use my Cell Phone for that ! Too expensive if it should drop. What town are you in? I am in Canada as well, Thunder Bay Ontario here. Beautiful looking town. Thanks for the video.
I just bough a V50X for airsoft recording. The EIS is amazing and great for running around. Pity the sound sucks, but I can live with it. Thanks for this awesome comparison video.
Is it still good today? I want to buy the Brave 6 Plus but I can't find it anywhere.
Great comparison video - The V50 Pro still takes the cake for me even with the better EIS on the 50X. The V50 Pro just has so much more depth, sharpness and accuracy to it than the other two and the internal mic is still very decent.
True, but personally I cannot stand shaky footage and I would choose the v50x over the pro anytime
Redskull would a humble fix the issue?
@@itszach6808 do you mean a Gimble? Yes it would.
Agree...could read number plates more clearly which is important if using on a bike helmet and need to recall an incident
Stabilization on the X looked best, but the PRO had the cleanest picture and best sound.
Agreed. We need the stabilization on the x on the Pro!

Got the X and tested for FPV fishing today, it’s great! Picture is super clear. I’ll probably pick up a second one if that tells anybody looking anything
Thinking to buy one for the same purpose too,for fpv fishing,V50X is good right?
Very nice and brilliant review. Perfectly made. Very good examples. Here are some things I think are important to mention and a little summary might help others with the comparison:
Sound:
With the sound you should always be careful. If you have two almost identical clips the louder one (here the V50 Pro) will always sound better subjetively. If you normalize them you can really compare them. Judging from what I can hear:
1. V50X, if you make it louder there is not a lot of noise and it is the best overall sound
2. V50 Pro, quite good sound
3. V50 Elite, muffled
Image Stabilization:
1. V50X, a lot more stable, but because of that sacrificing a lot of angle
2. V50 Elite, a bit more stable than the
3. V50 Pro, has weird
Colours:
1. V50 Pro
2. V50X, a bit less vibrant and more on the red side, maybe it is accurate cause at 6:29 it is the only camera where you can see these red leaves, cherries or what ever the best.
3. V50 Elite, a lot colder than both of the others, too white
Night:
1. V50 Pro, without the night mode tolerable and sharp
2. V50 Elite, tolerable but again very cold
3. V50X, that very bright picture is just grainy and overall bad
View:
1. V50 Elite
2. V50 Pro, just a little bit narrower, but not really worth mentioning
3. V50 X a lot narrower, probably because of the good stabilization
In summary choose the V50 Pro if you have a bit more money left, and don't rely so much on image stabilization. If you do a lot of shaky stuff choose the V50X. Don't even get near the V50 Elite for that price.
Greetings from Germany ✌️
v50x performing like gopro wow! that EIS is on another level and the picture color is more natual
Did you end up buying one? How's the performance on it?
I bought v50x last year.. i only use it for 3 month.. and now she died.. suddently off
This video was brilliant and was crucial in helping me decide which camera I needed (as it's for night time cycling), and definitely that what's more expensive isn't always better! One thing you forgot to mention, which I think is what dictates the higher price for the Elite model is that it has voice control. Personally I'd be willing to compromised on the small quality difference between the Pro and the Elite for this function, as others may be, so may be worth a mention...
good suggestion... the voice control doesn't work that great so I didn't bother talking about it
@@RedskullPro I didn't see the point in it either... as you have to talk to the control thing which has actual buttons on it. lol. ... might as well just press a button.
What I meant to say was that people may be wondering why the one with the higher price has slightly poorer sound and vid quality (as I was). Answer: voice control.
Thanks.
Superb job done. After watching your reviews frequently, i finally decided to go for the V50 pro & ordered. Your videos are commendable 👍
I’m glad they are helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this review. The more I read about this camera the harder it is to know which model to get. The reason is because it seems that at 4K/30 you get different IQ depending on which card you use and many people reckon the 'X' produces the best results in decent amounts of light. I have seen a number of cryptic messages on retail sites relating to your choice of card and these are not just about Read/Write speeds.
There has also been new firmware released and because Akaso do not seem to want users to update theirs unless they run into specific problems it is unclear which f/w was in the cameras in this review. According to another reviewer, the newer models are much better than the early ones.
I think it is safe to say that all three versions can produce results that are very impressive and if you are prepared to do a bit of work in post then it is not hugely difficult to end up with a result that looks to a casual observer more pleasing than most typical over saturated Gopro stuff.
ill just wait for this comparison of this 3 akaso
now i finally decides for what i buy, thank you

Happy to help! Thanks for watching!
What did you buy po?
These comparative videos are so helpful. So many reviewa miss the mark on actually showing me what I'm paying for if I get the product.
Hey, thanks for stopping by and checking out the video, appreciated!
I have seen many test videos about action cameras, but your videos are by far the best! Your test videos include everything important, such as microphone test, day and night videos and pictures, etc.
So you can directly see the strengths and weaknesses of the cameras.
Really good videos, keep up the good work! 👍🏻
A comparison between cheap action cameras and expensive GoPro's would be really interesting. 😉

I am getting a GoPro 7 in a couple of days!
Oh man! thank you so much, I love your review, to the point, no bullshit and no chitchat. AWESOME! 👍🏼
I can't stand all that useless talking in videos either! Thanks for watching!
Great comparative video! It looks like the V50 Pro could be improved with new firmware.
I think so too!
seems like the V50X is zoomed in just a bit more... but its a tuff call between the V50X and the V50 Pro. The Elite was not even in the same ball park. Great Video and thanks for doing this shootout.
Cheers from Montana.
Thanks for checking it out!
Great review. The V50X is the best. Best dynamic range, best IS, best image quality. The Pro is too sharp. The Elite is too flat with no better dynamic range.
In my opinion the v50x is the best with the lowest price among the three Akaso cameras. I will make this video a comparison before buying an action camera from Akaso which I will use for Motovlogging. Thanks, Redskull.
Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, the EIS on the v50x is so much better, not worth gettin any of the other two cameras
Thankypu sir very imformative this revie. Now I choose AKASO V50 PRO than Go Pro because a lot of package with and also extra batteries hmmm all the way from philippines start moto vlogging here! Godbless and Mabuhay!
Well done comparison! For night video, the V50 X looks like the ISO was pumped up higher than the other two cameras - that would account for the brighter image and the resulting horrible image quality. Also, for the night footage, the V50 Elite looks like it has a better lens, judging by the better starburst on the city lights.
All three cameras have the smallest, cheapest digital sensor available, so don't expect too much low light image quality from any of the three. Thanks for making this video.
Thanks for checking it out!
Nice comparison... This is what I was searching today.
Thanks 👍
excellent timing! :) Thanks for watching!
My man , you belong in television. Great reviews
Haha, thanks!
For me, the Pro version's evening filming, shows good, true to colour grass green, and stonework on buildings, but shows discolour of the tungsten lighting, showing an orange glow. Though, (for me), a choice of camera would be the one which ticks the most boxes for my needs; I.e; External, and internal mic, with good recording, or sound, preferably first without the external mic, like the Pro version you showed.
I also prefer to feel a rubberised camera covering, as opposed to a plastic one!
Keep up the good work!
Now THAT is how to do a comparison. Side by side not jumping from one to another. 👍👍Your English is amazing by the way.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the great review ! Over all I'd go with the Pro as well.
I like the stabilization of the v50x. I just bought it. I’m figuring with some video editing I can adjust the colors and picture! Will be my first motovlog setup. I also got there external mic as well
Really great comparison and review. Very informative and easy to understand. Great video man, nice job. V50 pro for me.
I’m glad you liked it, thanks for watching!
Amazing comparison. Thank you for doing this. I feel like I have already saved money just from watching this. Great content.
I'm glad the video was useful! Thanks for watching!
Spent an hour watching reviews on the og one spent another hour watching reviews on the v50 pro now I’m here 😆
Amazing reviews. V50x has the best stability 👍🏻
Redskull, you just broke my heart: I bought the Elite just before I came across your video. I only intend to use it for underwater filming so it'll be interesting to see how it operates in that environment. Thanks from Australia.
Many of these cameras get updated over time even thou they look the same. Hopefully the Elite has been improved since this video
this is the video i am looking for, sibling going at each other.
Haha, thanks for watching!
Always the best reviews and comparison reviews on the internet let alone RUclips. Thank you for you hard work and honest reviews...great job!! I'm going for the V50X because I like the overall features and capabilities but in particular the EIS because my primary use is taking videos riding my 4 wheeler over bumpy terrain. You helped me make the best choice for my needs and helped me from being let down if I were to buy one of the 2 other models.
V50X seems to be best of the 3
Value wise it is the best out of the 3
nice video alex .. i really want v50x for motovlogging
v5O pro has the sharpest and best colour, best overall picture quality but V5OX has the best image stability and the only one that can capture most light at night but its IS was getting jerky at night as if the processor couldn't keep up, with V5O pro and V5OX about the same price now, I would pick the Pro.
Thanks for the nice review ! BTW, it would be nice to include a video with a high end cam also to compare with the Akaso cams. That way, we can know what the real pictures and colors look like.
I've done a separate video between an akaso camera and a gopro....hard to add the 4th camera in one video
Great review, thanks!!!
Excellent review of the 3 models having the 3 camera side by side was an excellent way to show the quality and low points of each.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you, your Videos really helped me to choose the right Camera!
happy to hear! Thanks for watching!
Not seen your reviews before. They are excellent, spot on with everything needed to make a choice, thank you. Can you play videos direct from camera to TV? Greetings from UK.
Hi, Welcome to the channel. You can play them on the tv from the camera through a hdmi cable
Great comparison ! The pro has the best audio and video quality, the x has the best stabilization and the Elite you could say SUCKS ! Overall the Pro is the best but you would need a gimbal... Like you mentioned before the yi 4K+ would be a better buy.. Keep up the great vids 👍
Yeah, nothing compares to the Yi 4k+. I wonder when Yi will come up with another new camera...
Alex, I’ve been thinking the same thing .. Hopefully soon 👍
Great video! The side by side by side comparison was super helpful. Thank you for this. I was leaning toward the V50X, but now considering the Pro. Tough call because each one has good pros and equally poor cons.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, to ride to some Enduro trails on my bicycle, wich one do you recommend? i like the stabilization of the X but the image cropping i don't know, of course don't want to spend on a GoPro
hmmm...the Yi 4K+ is your next best bet
@@RedskullPro But i see that one on Amazon at 329 USD, pretty similar to the Gopro7
Finally Iam out of my confusion....thanks for the video sir
V50x in every review, makes the man red face, including you.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that in this video
Based on your review, I bought the V50X. I have to say the sound on my camera is just fine. The first camera I bought had a really bad green tint and returned it. The second one was a bit better but I just think this camera doesn't do well under fluorescent lighting. Not a big deal since most of my videos will be fishing videos. Very happy with this camera. Thanks!
The thing is... they "update" these cameras over time. This video is pretty old now. I am assuming that these cameras have different compnents by now
Yes, I understand. Just wanted to let you know the audio issue they have fixed.
Alex for you who is the best camera of this 3 models?🤔
Agreed! The X model seems to have better EIS. Great review man. Will watch the x review, any recommendation for a good cheap mic
You sound like dracula 😂😂LOL just joking sir 👍🙏
Unfortunately we just bought the v50 elite but we are happy with it for the purposes we intend it's for but definitely wish I would have seen your video before purchasing! Geat video 👍
I mean… this video is old… they may have updated the internals of the v50 elite
I ordered the V50X and expect to get it next week, before seeing this video. My 1st action camera and will probably end up buying a more expensive brand. At 1st I thought how great it was that I didn't see this comparison before buying it, but at this point I believe I would have chosen the V50X anyway after seeing this video, or gone with a more expensive brand.
For the price the v50x isn't bad...but like you said...if you want better quality you need to get something more expensive
Great video thank you, its sad that each camera had almost equal pros and cons, looking forward to watching your reviews on the brave series
Wow.. So glad I saw this. I was inches away from the Elite. But the V5 Pro color and sound were so far above the other 2 it changed my mind. I do mostly close up interview type videos and the V5 Pro is the winner in all (except nighttime) categories. Thank you very much. :)
I’m glad the video was helpful! Thanks for watching!
At 10:57 and 11:01 The v50x outperforms the other two. You're able to see the outline of almost every brick on the buildings. That's impressive. That's why I use this camera on time lapse photos at 1/2 second interval while riding in traffic.
i love your videos, you are very thorough and in-depth. i appreciate your honest opinions and watching your videos has helped me to decide on my 1st action camera. Thank you.
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!
I bought the V50 Pro and im pretty satisfied on its performance EXCEPT! when your are taking a video on a not so lit up area. Video is very dark. Well, nothings perfect. But overall! I have no regrets. Video Quality on daytime is great. Internal mic is working very well. Also the Pictures quality is really good. Good Job V50 Pro! Goodjob AKASO.
Woow luar biasa hasil rekamannya , saya pengguna camera akaso v50x , keren 👍👍👍 . Salam vloger dari Indonesia 🇮🇩
Ur the best action cam reviewer i found. Keep it up mate. subscribed!
Thanks, will do!
Hey Alex, I'm choosing between the V50X and Pro and leaning towards the Pro for the audio. On the other hand if you use the waterproof case is there still a big difference between the two?
I don't want to use an external microphone and in the water I can't. I want to use it for diving and mountainbiking.
Great content btw, best video I have found on these models!
hey, if you put the case on them the audio is unusable on both... They both support external microphones...but you will have that cable attached. Thanks for watching!
Great comparison video ! Definitely the V50x. I can deal with what it lacks. That’s the one I’m gonna buy. Thanks so much for your work on this. !
Thanks for checking out the video!
Indeed the v50 Pro to my eyes, viewing a 22.5" widescreen, had the best image just as you described "the colors seem to be closer to reality" "..footage seems a bit sharper...". The sound is the best of the bunch too. I wasn't sure at first about the location of shooting .... then the drug store appeared. 😉 Great video review sir! Have a blessed day. 🙏🏽
haha, KW, ON, Canada :)
Seems like v50pro colors is more natural? Am i wrong?
Yes, the X seems better with stabilization.
The Pro more colorful and sound is a bit better.
Great job, Alex, well done. 😆
Hard to choose the best camera :) they need to make a camera that gets all the best qualities from the 3 cameras and combines them into one
I'll choose v50 pro.. Because of the audio and colours...
Just picked up the V50X for $80 new. A steal compared to multi generation old Go Pros for $200+
Bro akaso v50x or campark v30 which will be best for moto vlogging
Thanks hey I wanted a low cost cam to hang off a vehicle for my channel and the X will be perfect even though the pic quality on the pro is much nicer the X will do it Thanks again for taking the time
EIS is very important to me and hands down the V50X takes the win!!! Amazing gyroscope plus image stabilization in 2022 its even updated to have both together.
Best camera comparison video ever. Thank you for this outstanding review video. Most likely I’ll be ordering the 50X. Liked and subscribed to your channel.
Thank you very much for watching. I'm glad the video was useful
Elite was realistic and crisp. Others look ok but a little muddy looking (yellowish) on day and night video. Overall all cameras are great. Thanks for your review on 3 exceptional action cameras.
I think you are the only one that liked the Elite :)
Seeing these reviews, the V50X certainly comes off as the best choice from Akaso for driving/autocross! Excellent, and very helpful reviews!
also check out the Akaso Brave 6 Plus, that one may be a bit better.

@@RedskullPro Ha! I actually watched that one, first! I was definitely torn between that and the Brave 6 Plus. Might look it over again!

Thanks for the reviews. For my fishing videos, I decided to go with the V50X.
Glad I could help!
This was a very helpful comparison - thank you. I notice that while the footage on the V50x is smoother, its angle of view is narrower. The stabilization may be covering more area and thus forcing the view shown on the recording to be narrower. Also, that's a nice Mustang!
hey, yes in order to achieve that awesome stabilization it crops in quite a lot. The Mustang was sold a couple of months ago :) I replaced it with something very quiet that tat doesn't use gas :)
You have no idea how helpful your review was..... I will go with the V50 Pro.... By the way which camera you used for this RUclips video?

This is an amazing review and SUPER helpful in my purchase of my next camera!
Excellent Test! Agree totally with your assessment. Everything on the Elite looks gray. The X has the best stabilization, the PRO has the worst. The color is best on the PRO. Decided to go with the PRO. Don't expect to be moving with it a bunch.
thanks for watching! The Pro has the cleanest video for sure. Too bad they can't make a camera that has it all
Hola.

Thank you! Great review! So great to see all the three images on one screen and compare the cameras. Thanks again.
My pleasure!
Excellent video, thanks for doing the comparison. Glad I just purchased the V50 Pro!
Thanks for watching!
I want a helmet cam for the range, I only go to the range during the day and with it being mounted on my helmet I sort of need the remote to trun recording on and off. There is so much to worry about at the range with not only safety checks but there is ear protection, eye protection, and so on that the last thing I need is to fumble around pressing record on top of my head. With that being said, I think I will be mounting the V50X on my weapon and body mount!
Should be pretty interesting to see how the IR lights work with these at night!
Excellent review... I decided on the Akaso V50X thanks for the review.
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
Great comparison and review .Sir will u please suggest me which camera should I use for motovlogs among all 3 ? I am looking for your valuable reply.
I'm a using akaso brave 6 plus .very nice action camera..and not expensive for the beginners vloger..thank u..for sharing this video .I got a good camera.
Awesome comparison! Thank you. I am with you that I like the V50 Pro quality better but the V50x stabilization, which then makes it hard to choose. I am checking out the Brave 6 plus below to see if I can have both photo quality and stabilization
Did you install the latest software upgrades before doing your tests? I bought a V50 Pro and after installing the latest software upgrades it made a remarkable difference in picture quality, IMS and color. My only gripe with it is that the largest memory it will use is 64GB.
I agree. 64GB of storage isnt what it used to be. You can fill that card up easily.
A well presented review. I choose the V50 Pro on its performance and hope the issue of stability is resolved with a gimble mount. Thanks for this review.
Thanks for checking it out!
The best video from entire RUclips. Thanks a lot for this one!!!
Help me to decide my aquisition!!!
Glad I could help!
@portimho199 which one you bought
Definitely V50x - it's newer and better. EIS stabilization is amazing for cycling !! But it's pretty expensive right now to get it from Amazon. (Transport fees).
It is pretty cheap in the US
Thank you, this video was very useful in deciding which Akaso to purchase. I have decide to get the V50 Pro.
Thanks for checking out the video
Cant afford one yet but i like the v50x overall
Thank you very much for the excellent review, I'm from Brazil and I was in doubt about which model to choose, for me I thought the v50 pro was much better in sound and colors
Among these three, Akaso V50 Elite VS Akaso V50 Pro VS Akaso V50X, which one is the best ?
Great review. I would go with the V50X overall.
Good choice!
I prefer the V50X image quality. Elite is too soft, and Pro is WAY over-sharpened. X seems to have just enough sharpening but not too much. I even like its low light performance. Brighter than the others. I can always fix color balance in post production.
