Lol. Nothing wrong with the way both meats were cooked. Some people like their beef a liitle pink in the center. This is a great gadget for people who have tiny kitchens, ie students or professionals living in the city where kitchen space is minimal. I might gift this to my son who barely has a kitchen workbench.
I remember watching this video 11 or 12 years ago. I went and bought this model and use it regularly and it's still going just as good as new. I was looking at upgrading and this video popped up. I think I'm just going to stay with it. I also have the Ninja Speedi, (videos on my channel), but doesn't have a pressure cooker function.
I bought this for my daughter who is vegan. It's so easy and quick for her to cook dried beans and soups. I tried the Instant Pot but returned it because my daughter's breville is way more intuitive. Fitting the lid on was a bit confusing at first but it is very easy now. I'm going to buy myself the Breville as I don't have enough patience for the Instant Pot buttons.
I have one and can make most things in quick time compared to heating up my oven , by the time that is done all my food is cooked.Get one you won't regret it honestly.
I'm a student - my studio apartment has a kitchenette (oven the size of a microwave, two hot plates) that shorts out if you try to do more than one thing for too long. The worst is using the hotplate and doing dishes at the same time - not happening. But I also have a total of four and a half kitchen cupboards (two narrow, two wide, one weird one over the oven that's half height but full width), and that is literally a third of the storage in the entire apartment so I don't want to pack it out with stuff. A combined pressure and slow cooker like this could be really great for making lunches and dinners, with a ton left over to freeze since I'm a single person household!
i struggle to get the lid to close, very frustrating. it worked the first time for me and hasn't since. i did the trouble shooting with the arrows on the seal, still no go. anybody have any suggestions. i cannot twist the lid closed, yes I have lined up the two aligns. Help...
How many degrees does the slow cooker reach? No one will tell you. No manufacturer of slow cookers will tell you the peak highest temp for their slow cookers. It's like a secret or something.
It's a pity they don't fit a whistle to the steam release button, that would be even more fun. We Aussies call food cooked as much as that chicken Train Smash. I've been using a passive pressure cooker since Mum bought one when they came out in the 60s. Great tool. It's a pity you don't live close, you could visit and I'd sharpen that knife for you. Blunt knives cause accidents. Good video, can you make yoghurt with this model or do I need the fancier Breville model? Thanks.
This is a nice cooker but the inner bowl has a cheap 'non-stick' (although it sticks) pot that CAN NOT BE REPLACED. The company does not maintain stock of spares - you will need a replacement after several months use SO BUYER BEWARE. I will never buy the Sage brand again.

Thanks for this video. So far it's the best one I've seen on this machine. The actual Breville advertising one was nowhere near as helpful.

i guess I'm pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new series online ?
@Stanley Reyansh Lately I have been using flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
Do you add oil or butter to the pot before browning the meats?
I would have been better if the pot was turned to the front so you would actually see the buttons and the " alignment buttons "

They've got a link in the video description; just click "show more".
For all the functions, the price ain't bad.
I watched this. Then I bought it. I'm really really excited hehe.
Do you like it?
Very nice. God I love my job at this great company.
How much is this cool gadget ?
Meh.... Still left me wondering what I can do with this machine. I'll continue searching.
perfect for small jobs in the garage
I wonder if it has a delay start timer
how about using a power point timer if it does not - you Q gave me great ideas!

Any taste after 6 hours.
Robert Hey I like your Video
the middle of it was still pink after 20mins?
maksut karaman Slow cooked chicken can still be pink, and you can have undercooked chicken which isn't pink. All that matters is the temperature.
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
the outside lip is very hard to clean.

If you are not an alcoholic 😜 what can you use instead of the wine?
You can try substituting chicken stock with a tablespoon of lemon juice in it for every cup that you use. Hope this helps!

I'm an Aussie. Never heard of Train Smash before.
I got it today still not use it :)
Would help with an areal view to show what aligned means.
After such a meal, wouldn't you be stone drunk?
Jason Big in other words, you get flavor and not drunk?
+Jason Big : )
nice try
The Instant Pot is much better and cost half as much.
+Howard is a Bell End BUT THE INSERT IS ALUMINUM, ISN'T IT?
Bummer...Aluminum.
Stainless steel. Better than nonstick.

Breville - had for 2-3 years - the inner bowl is getting w0rn but does not stick
What a boring bland recipe; no thanks;
