My favourite dish - pineapple coconut chicken ... it was the first dinner my husband ever made for me, when we started dating and he only knew how to cook using his slow cooker! Now he does all the cooking and is quite accomplished.
You are my kindred spirit ... some days I plod about in my pj's until cocktail hour!! I do not have a slow cooker ... so I use a large pot and the oven to "slow cook" ... cover your ears ... Coca Cola pot roast ... I highly doubt it counts as heart healthy but it's delicious. Thanks for the beef shank tip ... I'm totally adding that to the roster
Family outgrew my chipped small crock pot, husband used pressure cooker for DIY paint pot, no comment. I cook everything in it and am training my children to use it. These days shrimp and rice with veggies, yum.

I cook a lot of things in my slow cooker, but you'll like this one, Mairlyn - I use it to make mulled wine. Put the wine & other ingredients into the slow cooker, simmer them on high per the recipe, then turn it down to Low and it keeps it at the perfect serving temperature.
Love slow cooking - especially roast chicken or a beef roast with potatoes. Great way to have a home cooked meal ready for me when I get home from work.

My favourite.....hmm....that is a tough question there are so many but one that jumps to my mind first is my Mom's cheesie potatoes that we do every Christmas. Mine crockpot is ancient but hey it still works!
I have so many things that I like to cook in my slow cooker. I pick a weekend and make a whole bunch of freezer slow cooked meals. Then when I know I am going to have a busy day or we are going to be out for the day I grab a meal out of the freezer and throw it into the slow cooker. Easy peasy.
I really enjoy cooking with my slow cooker, but often wish I had another to use at the same time. My favourite dish for the slow cooker is Cherry Pork Chops, although I also like Crockput Stuffing....so much easier than stuffing the turkey.

I love my proctor Silex slow cooker but can't decide what I love most to make in it. I make a soup a week and it is never the same. I usually make a vegetable soup with beans or peas or lentils, tomatoes and rice or pasta or oats or barley or semolina or couscous or quinoa or potato. If I have left over meat I add it to my bowl.
Chilies and stews are my favourite, but Polynesian Chicken is close behind. I would love to try this beef shanks recipe in a Breville Fast Slow Pro where it could all be done in one pot, and while wearing my pj's.
I enjoy making seasoned and shredded chicken in my slowcooker! I either use it right away for hot pulled chicken sandwiches (smoky BBQ sauce, coleslaw... yum!), or freeze it for later and use it for sandwiches, tacos, salads, ect. Super easy, delicious, and convenient!
ok, this is how my mum used to make it in the 70's. Place peeled and quartered potatoes in crock pot. Add lamb shoulder chops. Top with a diced onion. Now remember this is my mum's recipe .. pour a can of cream of mushroom soup over along with a half tin of water, Top with a package of frozen string beans. Cover and slow cook 6 hours. Sometimes she would add sliced carrots with onions. When I've made it, I omitted soup and used cream and beef sock and some flour and water to thicken. It sounds like nothing, but it really is comfort food.
