everyone sleeps on jared leto...this clip did not show enough heavy things he can do with his voice, so justice wasn't really done with this particular clip
Jared Leto is a genetic God!!! He’s been blessed with so much talent and I’m so damn grateful that he shares it with us!! I’ll Never ever get tired of a thing he does.
I am madly in love with Jared Leto’s voice! It is my happy place! If you listen very carefully to him. You can hear a southern accent. Once in a blue moon. He really annunciates most of the time. But once in a while. It is there. I love it! I can’t listen to Alibi if I am even slightly sad. It will throw me right over the edge! There is just something about the way he sings! He sings with his heart and soul! You can hear it! You can feel it! It makes him amazing! He is a really wonderful person. With many, many talents!
The clip doesnt do fully showcase what Jared is capable of live. There are soo many other live performance videos but at least its something. Great video btw!
chill bro, he's seen pretty much all of his vocals range, and to be honest Jared also capable of some lazy stuff like not singing high where he has to or just let the crowd sing almost all of the song..
Wow... u reacted to Jared.. love it!! Also love when u show your amazing vocals to use as comparisons.. as I've seen before in your other reactions.. thanks for this!! It's cool when an actor like Jared Leto came out as a singer!! Been a fan of him since he started acting years ago.. and was amazed he grew into a lovely singer.. with a super distinctive voice..it's not perfect .but that makes it so nice for me.. gotta have some edge!! 😎🤟😎🤟😎🤟😎
Wow! I found your channel through the Chester video you did. Now another favourite singer of mine :D so happy for this video. I really hope you could do a part 2 for the heavier tracks?
GAH! stuff in here from Camp Mars. I'm such a sucker for his remixes of From Yesterday and A Beautiful Lie from Camp. Hearing them live was such an amazing experience. SO much unreleased music here too. But I agree with other comments that this video doesn't truly show his entire range. Thank you for doing this video!!
YESSSSS! Thank you so much for reacting to this! I've been a fan of Jared and 30 Seconds To Mars for 9 years now and all I can say is, he is amazing live. This video only shows acoustic parts, but he's great with the whole band too. Please check these out! -'Night of the Hunter' live --> ruclips.net/video/_oiXyOpTQqo/видео.html -'Alibi' live --> ruclips.net/video/CUn4j0g1XtU/видео.html -'End of All Days' live --> ruclips.net/video/xHvbRFWWLnA/видео.html (he always gets so into this song ♥♥♥) And Jared is actually form Louisiana, so sometimes his accent comes out. He has this joke where he puts on his heavy accent and acts like a lunatic xD I can't find a good clip of it here on YT but here's one on Twitter --> twitter.com/letomercury/status/1040003549432893443
i really enjoyed this alot, i gotta disagree with you on Stay though. they reworked it to their own version, and personally i like it even better than the original version. it may be cool for you to react to the full version of Stay 30STM did at the Live Lounge.
Hi, great video, like all :D I'm from México, Please react to "José José - El Triste" he was an amazing singer, but now he almost lost her voice completely (the video was of 70's).
ok, so this is long (I apologize) and it may seem like I'm nitpicking but I'm actually making solid points about how I, as a student, best learned how to find my voice and control it and find my confidence and such. ok, that's all. for this paragraph ;p except for this. as much as I say about writing and editing, if smth doesn't make sense it's bc autocorrect. I wrote it. I'm not reading it hahaha But *none* of this is meant to be mean or bad :) I think one big issue is you're not realizing when and where these songs are being performed. and it IS possible to be too technical. there needs to be a balance, right? you need to feel the song or else, what's the point? it's just a great voice with nothing to it. kind of reminds me of that John Mayer tweet talking about needing to be a caring, feeling person or else it's just, congratulations on your face. a song is telling a story. sometimes you need to follow the soul of the song sometimes. And this here goes for any art form - if you know the rules, you *are* able to break them. if it's for a real reason that makes sense, hearing the entire song. I'm only saying these things as a singer/songwriter. I'm not a vocal coach. *but* I had two coaches. well I still practice with someone. one was classically trained. she would say I had vocal fry when I absolutely did not. it was just raspiness that didn't sound right to her trained ear. and then, I had a vocal coach who actually knew music from the '60s to that time. she was like, uh yeah that's not vocal fry. it couldn't have been bc I hadn't done anything to cause it. which makes me think of *greats* like Janis. she would be torn to absolute shreds in a video like this hahaha but she was phenomenal, nonetheless. It's just my opinion that what singing is really about should be taught just as much as the technical side. otherwise you're learning one thing and then unlearning when it's time to change things up. trying to remove something from what's natural in your actions is crazy difficult. to me, if you can learn them both -with an definite emphasis on the technical, ofc - then you can not only learn your own voice and how to sing properly but you'll have a headstart when it comes time to change things up for effect. when you were commenting on The Kill, I found it interesting simply bc for those who weren't already echelon, that is 100% the song that put them on the map. and to think of him singing it how you suggested just wouldn't be right at all for the sound of the song and what it's saying about being able to be free about who we are and not trying to be anyone else. so that right there is a perfect example of why rules can and should be broken at times :) one last thing I just felt the need to mention is that about half of those songs were unreleased, or they were being performed for a smaller online audience, as Jared was actually a pioneer in platforms such as vlive now. I was able to tell where he was and I remember watching them, actually. but yeah, he created the now defunct vyrt, where fans could pay for concerts that had been figured out how to film for online viewing. they could watch a session just in the studio area of the house, so that was nothing formal. and he also would pop on for a 'violet,' which was free to anyone who could catch it. so he was just hanging out with fans. he did a lot of those by himself bc other members were tied up at the time. he was big on connecting with the audience from the beginning. so things didn't need to be perfect. I'm honestly not saying any of this as a fan of Jared in any way. that was years ago. 2014 was the last I was on the platform and then I guess it was gone after some point. I'm truly saying this as someone who learned how to sing with two coaches helping me with different aspects. I would absolutely not be comfortable in feeling the music while still wanting to sing properly. I would be so caught up on trying to get it just right. and sometimes the more you do that, the worse you end up sounding. I distinctly remember the moment the teachings came together. they are so entertained and it took me being told both that it should be right but also that you should feel it. my classical vocal coach reacted to something I said about Halsey. a woman who had 3 Billion streams on Spotify alone last year. she just won the BMI songwriter of the year award. she had 4 songs on the charts the longest running time. so did T.Swift but Halsey best her by a couple of weeks and Halsey's first LP dropped only in 2015. she wrote it when she was 19. and what I'm getting at is what she said back then :) she said she's not a singer. she's a writer. so so so many of her songs come from simply writing or from poems. then they become songs. so they really mean something. she said that she sings bc she can't imagine anyone else singing her songs. They're her words. writers cherish words. and if you have to stray a little or not be perfect bc you're so into a performance that you don't hit every note just right, then that's okay. which is where my coach exclaimed, Thank you!, and talked about Beethoven. he though he was sh*t pretty much. he didn't think he was a great musician. but he knew the response of the audience. he didn't think they care or even notice if he hit the wrong key. because they were so into the music and how it made them feel. that's what music is about. we're not painting the Sistine Chapel ;) I have watched you a lot in the past so I obviously appreciate what you're putting out on your channel. and I do realize this video is 2 years old so you may not even see this comment. But I just thought it might help to mention some things. which, now that I think about it, I'm sure others did. And I wanted to give my perspective. As an editor, I once wrote an article about having the know the rules to break them. As a published novelist, I know that I did break a rule and it worked out to a great advantage. Jared, and Shannon, we're born surrounded by music. I know Shannon knows it well. With Jared as the lead, it's safe to say he does, too. Oh, I forgot that what you praised vs The Kill - there was a gap of almost a decade there. if that's of any importance ifk lol I'm sooo not trying to offend or step on your toes as I *absolutely* understand that you know your craft and your trade. I'm just someone that wouldn't want to sing a duet with you hahaha bc I'd make a fool out of myself, I'm positive. But I also feel strongly about the things I mentioned bc I find them to be true not just with singing. I've been writing stories since I was five years old and published and winning contests super early. and I'm that kid who loved grammar and composition and all of that. but I also knew that weren't always hard and steady rules. a stupid example is one song I wrote recently has a line that ends in an adjective. but it's describing a verb. but it needed to be a near rhyme so I had to go with what was wrong. That's all I'm saying. I hope you don't hate me after this. I should hit send but I'm going to. annnnd I will continue to watch your channel. I'm already subscribed so I'll see you suggested. you know what? I'll turn on the bell. that doesn't mean youtube will care to notify me of anything, tho Ughhhhh okay. I'm sorry. I'm running away now hahaha
It seems that you haven’t reacted to any Mariah Carey live performances. Can u please react to “Vanishing Rehearsal” it’s one of the greatest vocal performance ever, i promise you will get goosebumps ☺️
I hate doing this on another artist reaction, but, please react to More Home Free! "In the Blood" , "Castle on the Hill" or an older one like , "Wake Me Up", or "Story of My Life" Harmonies and individual performances are great in all of these. I know you're Jewish, but their version of "O' Holy Night" is outstanding also!

@@Bundy6Hunnasurely you jest..... Leto will never be any where near Jeff Buckley's level of amazing vocal talent..as gorgeous and talented as he is in other areas. Did we just watch the same video??
I love watching vocal coaches that have a Chanel think their opinion means anything against a vocalist who can out sing them and has way more views than the coach telling them what they did wrong. Never heard of the coach but I know the person they criticize
I want to remind people in some of these clips he's 25 to 30 and some he's 40+ Jared's voice is fried after two songs all out he has to pick his spots as he's gotten older aka lazier.
everyone sleeps on jared leto...this clip did not show enough heavy things he can do with his voice, so justice wasn't really done with this particular clip
Yeah we should make our own...this one was a little crap because it didn't included his best high notes and screams.
His voice is incredible!
His voice is just absolutely amazing and there’s no way around that

Good video!! Can you do another video with the live songs of the heavier ones
Essa voz rasgada dele, e ao mesmo tempo tem uma sensualidade realmente ele é muito bom , lindo de viver

It doesn’t work when he tries to do metal screaming like in The Kill. His vocals in Hurricane and Capricorn is god like and it suits him best.
