I think their concern is with the one where they register with Ghanaian details and identify as Ghanaian citizens not foreign nationals. We are aware of the foreign ones. So, some were arrested for presenting falsified Ghanaian birth certificates.
You have a point, I went to the office for a survey and some were misconceptions which was clarified as the birth certificate is genuine and some true just to cut corners though the Ghanaian personnel will still know that being born in Ghana alone doesn't confer citizenship. Some didn't know that Ghana card doesn't confer citizenship. It's a card for identification only. In all, let's abide by the Law and shun falsification of documents.

GhanaCard is issued to both nationals and foreign nationals in Ghana. The difference is the indication on it as citizen and non-citizen

In fact according to official statistics from both Nigerian and Ghanaian governments, there are more Ghanaians in Nigeria than Nigerians in Ghana. If you don't want Nigerians in your country, change your law and sent them back. You knew what happened the last time Ghana asked Nigerians to leave Ghana right? If you don't know, go and read your history!

The problems aren't only the defaulted Nigerians or foreign nationales, the problems are the Ghanaian corrupt officials, if you didn't convince someone that you can do something against the law just to extort money from them, they won't come to you. Some Gh officials lied to them to believe that the Ghana card offers citizenship. Your media didn't do a thorough job of highlighting and educating the masses on the exact meaning, some even echoed that it may likely be used for travels as citizenship. Moreso, That they're not Ghanaians doesn't mean they're all Nigerians. There are other African foreign nationales in Gh. Your numbers are false. Always try to get your facts from authentic source if you want to comment, There are many fake sources with an agenda, if it's from Gh web, Sahara etc.. they're not authentic when reporting foreigners. Even some Gh media, copy and paste fake and bloated news especially if it's about Nigeria. Also, your Identity here is an impersonation and a huge offence cos you're impersonating a high political figure in Gh which contravenes section 132 of the criminal offences act .
