Jamie Dornan deserves an Oscar nomination for his phenomenal performance in Belfast! He could even win. Ciarin Hinds deserves a nomination too - as do Jude Hill, Judi Dench and Catriona Balfe. A rare A+ movie!!!! Just superb!

I saw the movie in Austin Texas last night. Two hour drive each way was totally worth it. I loved the scene they just shared. I remember the days chronicled in the movie, but the family story here is a wonderful peek into a real loving family. I laughed and cried and I will go again.

great movie. I was 50/50 on this or Coda winning best film. Coda won, but Belfast is a movie that I could watch over and over.

Jamie sounds so much like Steve Ellis of love affair, watching the movie I thought he was lypsynching to their version I was pretty surprised that it was Jamie's vocals. Good singer.

I LOVE the fact that Jamie Dorman has kept his Irish accent through the years. She unfortunately hasn't. For me, she doesn't seem Irish at all.
In this interview she does, I was just thinking I've never heard her Irish accent before. Guess it because of doing the press junket tour with Jamie and company.
I think here she has picked up some Northern Irish overtones to the accent we normally hear from her here - she’s from Dublin originally but lived near the border as a child.
@@rachelprosser8061 I was going to say that she definitely has more of a Northern twist to her accent here than she usually does. Her natural accent now is more of a light, Americanized Irish, which is understandable for someone who doesn’t live there anymore and often plays non-Irish characters.
