Tobias's performance is, for me, the best of the entire cast (without detracting from the others). He played two very different characters from each other and, very different from his apparent low-key and slightly introverted personality. Tobias is a master at acting and has a very seductive voice.
I totaly agree... For me, was the best performance in Outlander... and they are all amazing... He's voice is mesmerizing...and he seems to be a lovely person.
At last a Tobias fan!!!! Everyone seems to adore Jamie but Frank has been a true gent but in terms of acting Tobias blows Sam and Caitriona out of the water; It is a shame that his part is over and to end that way too. I wish he could have divorced and moved back to England. Alive!

Tobias Menzies is an outstanding actor. I would want to hug Frank and if Tobias was near me with a redcoat uniform on I would probably faint. Handsome and intelligent, really makes the characters what they are.
I love Caitriona & Sam’s role so much, their romance on screen is incredible but Tobias definitely doesn’t get enough credit or attention that he deserves. 🕺🏼💃🏻🕺🏼
The body language difference is so obvious. Tobias is the precise, embodiment of the controlled professional. Caitriona reacts to that with a similar closed arms posture. With Sam she is open, warm, receptive and relaxed always. Cant stop giggling with him. Hence the screen chemistry that has worked so well for them both. The difference on display here. Great casting.

yes, i agree. I think that Tobias is a little bit shy also, or does not like interviews that much, he seems uncomfortable or prefers let others speak. Well thats what i see.

Far out that guy hottt. very professional and Catriona is beautiful. I had seen Tobias here and then , however his NOT given enough credit for his amazing acting shame his very talented. real actor.
I wish Tobias' character Frank could have fleshed out his grappling with the whole story arc of "knowing Frank was a second fiddle to Claire's love for Jamie".. Tobias is just fearless

I'm so happy in 2019 we have a proper well trained actor like Tobias. instead of the crap actors around atm . Catriona very good as she was a model ,so she done well in outlander

Marianne Murray she's not American you silly she's Irish it's just not as strong when she's in America because she's not around other Irish people you'll notice when she's with Sam in interviews it's pretty thick then !
Michelle Flood, yes, I am aware of how one will pick up different accents. She has obviously picked up an American accent hence my comment. Last year or so, the cast members were asked to read their parts with an American accent. They all failed hilariously! Lol I was remembering that interview while watching this one.

For me, nothing compares to Caitriona’s acting. She is a phenomenal actress.

I hated the way they made him seem like some sort of chump in the series finale in GOT or what they did with his character in general.
