That is a great film indeed. And Caitriona Balfe delivered the best performance. Her talent is beyond words. You should have nominated her for best supporting actress. She made this movie what it is. Thank you.
Without the whole cast the movie won't exist not only Balfe character, without Ken grand parents or his PA the movie won't be as it is. Period
Supporting? She’s the lead, and she drives the emotion bus all the way to your heart. Unforgettable.
I really adored this film, it made me feel nostalgic for an era that I didn't even live through, and the performances are so powerful and charismatic, especially by the child actors.

This movie will win and should win the oscar. I adored this film and it’s Braganh in his own words, It’s a passion, personal and an audience favorite, Admiration is at it’s finest hour with belfast. It should sweep the categories it’s nominated for in a heartbeat.
That's the movie that deserves to win BEST PICTURE! it has won more audiences awards than any movie and it's score at Rotten tomatoes is higher than most movies nominated for BP
After seeing the movie Belfast recently, I am really surprised, sad and disappointed that it did not win the Oskar for best movie! The storyline the acting of the brilliant actors all deserve an Oscar of their own. The film is beautifully made and directed, it takes you right into the heart of Belfast and lets you experience the real things that happened. I am in tears as to why the film was not given the best picture by the Oscar comities .
My heart aches because Caitríona Balfe has been snubbed by the Academy!

The story was told so well. Brilliant film.
I liked this film, had some problems but a lot of nice little bits. Like how the boy couldn't figure out what to loot, and told him mom, "it's BIOLOGICAL!" And everyone using their normal accents & tone, refreshing.
This has quickly become one of my favourite movies ever. A masterpiece, technically and emotionally. It better win Best Picture 🖤

Why Judy Dench? Caitriona Balfe should've been nominated
Catriona is excellent, but also Judie Dench, she is great, and above all, it is a true supporting role, not like Catriona who is practically the protagonist, Dench is my favorite to win the award (although she will not win it)

@@dariussalepetru6770 yeah. I still can’t. Judi is wonderful but on this film Caitríona was better and had a more significant role. Caitríona was nominated for all precursors awards before the Oscars.

Glad it won screenplay ( although twiw was my choice ) it was my second one screw haters on twitter it has a great audiance score ( 91 audiance score on RT and won many audiances awards and was a box office hit in UK and Ireland it depassed Schindler list in box office there it was loved )
