Like during their phone call s1 ep1 where stolas KNOWS that blitz is being shot at and trying to escape and isnt worried about that. in fact called him just to talk to him about THEIR sexual arrangement so HE is the one who made it about sex in the FIRST place. also showing that he care more about banging him again than when blitz was in a life or death situation. also the second time during s1 ep6 when stolas FINALLY used his powers to save blitz he made it about sex AGAIN and belittled blitz by calling him "his little impish plaything" he is SUCH a hypocrite.

Honestly I blame it on the writing. Stolas just had a very sudden, extreme character change while Blitz remained entirely the same on that front. It was like someone flipping a switch. First half of the show Stolas was the sexual, comedic relief and out of a sudden he became serious.
I feel like that is also just a mistake in communication, I feel like he never meant to be condescending after a while but the style kinda stuck and since Blitz never said anything (for obvious reasons) he assumed Blitz likes it or is at least okay with it. Same thing happened when Stolas confessed to him but in reverse in ep 8 of s2. Just a good example of how you can sometimes be blind to how you're hurting someone important to you because of a lack of communication.

I think he genuinely believes the things he says, based off his tone and body language. He just doesn’t realize that what he thought was “flirting” was actually just patronizing to Blitz.
I like Stolas, but I think it's a narrative point that his entitlement and upbringing, as well as just... I guess outright blindness to those issues in others doesn't make him realize just how silly it sounds. I also think he genuinely believed he wasn't being condescending. This doesn't absolve him of any point, but does bring up a point of royalty being raised a certain way, which is especially evident with how overall naive he is when it comes to relationships.

What makes me hate stolas behavior even more than blitz is the narrative. Blitz bullshit gets a "Get your shit together you pity asshole" from the narrative While Stolas gets a "poor sad boy with no experience in life( He is 35 LOL) you don't need to work an youself, you just need to be loved" from the narrative. I just so annoyed every time i see stolas sing about his feeling with ayeliner tears in his face. He already did that 4 TIMES, and the songs said the same THING!! Blitz maybe an inconsiderate asshole but at least he knows he’s an inconsiderate asshole.Stolas’s lack of self awareness is extremely frustrating yes he was drunk but that still doesn’t change the fact that he had affair without thinking how it would effect his families reputation and his relationship with his daughter and given how he was acting in season one it’s pretty clear Stolas has no remorse for what he’s done given that he only cared about blitz and saw him as a low imp to use for pleasure. The moment we found out that Stolas had feelings for Blitz he gained a gaggle of fans that conveniently forgot that Blitz is his prostitute, not his boyfriend, and they started judging Blitz for not behaving like a boyfriend, just because they'd become aware of Stolas feelings. We got to see all of Stolas romantic side and no one realized that it was setting us up for the moment he'd out himself as delusional. Now because there wasn't a text scroll on the bottom of the screen explaining that the writers are aware that Stolas is wrong the gaggle of illiterates think that the writers are defending Stolas behavior. As if it didn't take us 9 episodes from the reveal of Stolas feelings until the payoff when fucked up. The writers knew exactly where they were going. I stopped caring for Stolas when I saw how he treated Blitz at Ozzie’s (his peers) vs during the Harvest Moon Festival (Blitz’s “peers”). That and having/abusing imp servants this entire time (specifically up till Full Moon the second most recent episode in the series)
Besides "my impish little plaything", Stolas being mad with Blitzø sending his colleagues to rescue him instead of going himself. Blitzø said him that he can't go save him because he's taking Loona for her S.H.O.T, it makes Stolas look childish. i won't be surprised if he doesn't even remember Moxxie's and Millie's names.
At the end of the day, the only person Stolas really cares about, is Stolas. He may get upset when Stella calls out his cheating, or Blitzo tells him off, or when Octavia has one of her rebellious episodes, but Stolas will always, always find a way to make it all about how HE feels.
So many people say that blitz is the problem and they are not completely wrong, he definitely has some issues. But stolas is also guilty of making it clear that he only wanted him for sex for quite sometime now.
Also, he spent s1 e2 doing all this in front of his own DAUGHTER. he spent all day ignoring her in a place where she DIDN’T. EVEN. WANT. TO. GO. she was already struggling with her parents hating each other, then Stolas made it worse by sleeping with Blitz, and even started pushing this affair into her life, honestly, my theory is that she’s allosexul, but has a really messed up veiw of sexual attraction, so she thinks she doesn’t feel it because toxicity is the only example she’s seen (don’t get offended anyone, I have some time before I start feeling sexual attraction so i’m not really good at this stuff) (I’ve become very interested in how she was treated during all this lately)
Another thing I want to add on is how stolas doesn’t really care about trying to find out what’s wrong with blitz. When blitz is talking bad about himself, all that stolas does is cry about the fact that he wants someone to care about him in a romantic way. First of all, you’re literally the one who made it all about sex at the start and now you’re crying over the fact that you want romance. Make up your mind. And second of all, blitz has literally just said that stolas deserves better than him. He has literally just witnessed his boyfriend talking bad about himself. So maybe instead of singing about how depressed he is and being all like, “oh blitzy why don’t you love me, what am I doing wrong?” Maybe you should try, I don’t know. TALKING to your boyfriend and finding out what’s wrong and try to help him

It's not Stolas's responsibility to fix Blitzo, especially after getting yelled at. (he is a victim of YEARS of domestic abuse. Wtf do you want from him?) Stolas is DRUNK AF in this, and even then he tries so prove that all these people cared enough to throw the party about hating him. Also, relationships develop overtime. Both sides made it so it would be all about sex, even when stolas tried to develop it.
Small correction, but Blitz was never Stolas boyfriend in any capacity. If you have to pay for someone to fuck you (which Stolas did, even if he paid by giving access to his book instead of cash) then they're not your boyfriend/girlfriend. That's a prostitute, and the show has been relatively upfront with this. S1E2 Octavia: "you both need to get a room" Blitz: "I am not a day hooker!" Making it pretty clear that Blitz views their agreement as a form of prostitution. I mean nothing ill by saying this, I'm just a little worried by how many people I've seen over the last few episodes of the show referring to them as boyfriends in the comments. I can't tell if this is because people forget that the relationship was transactional or because they think paying your partner for sex is normal or if there's some other reasoning behind this.

i found it shocking how the show is portraying how “omg look guys!! stolas is standing his ground!! he’s using his words!!” when never before was he using his words. in texts to blitz that are shown on screen in various episodes stolas tries many times to initiate a hangout with blitz but ALWAYS gives blitz the easy way out by saying “but you don’t have to..” but never really reciprocating “but i would like you to.” the one time he does, is in full moon. But since blitzo has never had him actually say this before he is shocked. Not to mention the “words” stolas are using are completely incorrect. Stolas has barely ANYTHING to “stand his ground” from, so it overall makes no sense why he is. If anything, it should be blitz standing his ground. Stolas is so used to being the one in charge, and blitz is so used to just going with it since, i mean, realistically, what can he do?? The whole situation to blitz is: rich prince wants to have sex with me and i get smth for my job in return. It was only an exchange to blitz since stolas never actually outright said “i want a relationship.” what they had is NOT a relationship, and stolas viewing it as such already set him up for failure. Their views of the situation are both totally different. Stolas instead says “i want more” which obviously confuses blitz because he’s already doing a lot. Was he not doing it good enough or what was going on? In which Stolas reveals he thought it had been a relationship all along, which was never the case. This is why blitz rejects this. Blitz’s reaction in full moon is very justifiable. Stolas is very much a *hopeless* romantic.

I also think it's fair to assume that's what Stolas thinks he's doing in the moment, but from a writers point of view this is probably just setting Stolas up for later episodes where he can have an "oh fuck I am the asshole?" moment and grow as a person.
Everyone in this show has their a-hole moments and everyone is in the wrong at some point! But stolas is so high up on that horse he doesn't even realise he's been just as shallow as Blitz. They both did f__ked up things in the relationship but at least Blitz knows when he's the one who f__ked up. Stolas can't even notice when he has. Well everyone is in the wrong at some point EXCEPT Beelzebub. So far her only display of anger was entirely justified. And she's iconic.

Plus, the sound of a gunshot carries...I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't hear the shots over the phone. I once said this in someone else's video, but I have mentioned that one of the biggest reasons to why a whole lot of people in the fandom who are on team Stolas is because in the episode he was all "Oh woe is me, I'm a crying character boo hoo." Most people are always caught up in the feels of an episode/character that they completely forget that the person who they feel bad for can be just as bad as the person that they are putting a lot of hate on. And people are too focused on the cute moments with Stolas that they don't even realize that there are moments where he has said some horrible stuff. A while ago I even watched a short about how they were saying that because Stolas from child to adult has bowed to Blitz, that it must mean that he treats everybody else equally. When that is far from the case because it's only Blitz that he does it to. Not to mention 1:48 -1:54 is a great example on how he doesn't treat everyone equally. Just because he bowed to Blitz doesn't mean he's great with everyone. I also want to believe that when Stolas calls Blitz his cute name Blitzy or talk to him in a baby voice and everything, he believes that's just his way of being flirty and cute and Blitz is just pretending he doesn't like it when he really does, when the reality is that Blitz really does hate it. And let's not forget, as many people who watch TV know being called cute isn't always a compliment. Sometimes it can mean that the person doesn't take you seriously as they should, which is why I don't like being called cute. Some people who are on team Stolas are too hypnotized by him either being cute or sad to realize that he's not as great of a person as people claim him to be or they turn a blind eye because they feel bad for him or that he's so cute that he deserves happiness. Correction; just a normal childhood. He threw his happiness to the wind to please others. That's the story of his life. Giving, giving and receiving nothing in return. Way to to blame the abused. Don't worry about the dirty talk at the kitchen time. That's over and done now. Instead, Octavia will see her father spiraling deeper into depression at this point (if she's there at all). If she doesn't get over her naivety and realize there is a second side to the divorce dilemma she's going to lose her dad forever. While she has the right to be upset she really needs to stop lashing out at him and realize her mother is just a b*tch who has been using her father as a punching back with deep pockets. That's what I'd like to see from Via. Asmodeus doesn't even know half the context. Stolas needs someone less judgemental and invasive and superior. Someone in the same shoes as Blitz who have always been there on the sidelines. Cue Millie and Moxxie! They are the perfect duo to talk to Stolas. If anything, Moxxie knows what's it's like to live under the thumb of a dictating father so he can relate. And Millie has always liked Stolas and Blitz together and just wants the best for them. This duo can show Stolas (and Blitz) better than anyone what a healthy relationship looks like and can be.
Really after this episode I'm going to need Stolas's apology, because man, how can you say all that... It even missed the part where he reproaches Blitz for not having gone to help him when Striker kidnapped him, and it's like PLS, he literally told you that he had a medical appointment with Loona and he couldn't miss it because it took 5 years for them to give it to him, Blitz was already going, but M&M decided to take care of it, plus you of all people should know that his daughter goes first like yours, Seriously that pissed me off 🫤🫤

Stolas and Blitz have had *gradual* growth since the deal was first made or when they reunited. People should realize that they are not the same people as they were in the first few episodes. The overly sexualness was played as jokes, meaning its *exaggerated.* Also Blitz never really said he was uncomfortable with what stolas was saying, that's why it continued on for the first place.

Is the show bending over backwards or is it the fans that are bending to see justifications for their precious bird baby? Because I don't think the show has made any moves to justify his behaviour. At most we got an *explanation* in S2E1 for why he's so fixated on Blitz and why he went to hard on the dirty language for most of S1. That's not really a justification. We've also seen him sad and lonely, but "sad and lonely" also isn't a justification, even if I've certainly seen enough "aww"ing fans that apparently thinks it's a justification. The show is planned to go on for a long time, and from what I've heard the plot is planned out in full until the end. Unlike with Hazbin, Helluva has enough space that the writers can take their time. With any luck, Stolas' character will get the development and growth he needs.
They have always justified it with their childhood traumas and their "philophobia". Please, that doesn't mean that certain actions are justified such as harassing his employees, stealing money from Verosica, or hating Fizz when he literally crippled him. They are telling me that you can't justify Stolas when that shit with tail and horns justifies everything.
I will say that at least his actitude changed after the date at Ozzy's, during that episode we see that Stolas actually saw that as an opportunity to improve/advance their relationship, but since Blitz only invited him as a way to get in, and then were publicly shamed by Ozz and Fizz, then all the other episodes they only got together for emergencys, not allowing them to talk or spend time together as a couple, that only happens on the full moon episode where Stolas goes to 100 and demands a response from Blitz.
Thing is it’s obviously fine to think that both are in the wrong, cause they are. But like- Stolas is not this sensitive baby that a lot of fans portray him as 😭 Like, fans are so focused on what Blitzø does that they fail to realise that Stolas has done a lot of wrong too. I acknowledged it specifically in the Full Moon episode. Stolas says to Blitzø “your first thoughts are always just about sex” Yeah, because you put those ideas into his head- like you don’t make a sex pact WHILE he’s literally fighting for his life, making patronising and suggestive comments in literally every wrong circumstance and situation JUST to shift the blame onto Blitzø like- 😭 I love Stolas as a character, but he too needs to have a reality check and realise that his behaviour isn’t helping either of them, because, in the end, it is just solidifying Blitzø’s mindset that he is just being used for sex instead of an actual relationship

For me the worst thing is the "you're so cute when you are serious" because that wouldn't be ok to say to an actual child, not the professional assassin you have employed to bodyguard you who is trying to establish a professional boundary, especially when your daughter is there and is telling you to shut the fuck up. A lot of the other shit can be handwaved, I know stolas thinks he's just doing playful banter but that one just feels especially gross. I want to see more scenes where Stolas interacts with the non Blitzo parts of IMP. Because Blitzo seems to be the only non-servant Imp he has spent extended amounts of time with and someone else set a boundary with him might get him to learn.
I mean, the problem I personally see with the cigarette thing being "part of the kink" is that kink is meant to be reserved for the scenario. They're clearly out of scene and taking a breather, given that Stolas isn't gagged or playing a part and is clearly trying for cuddles, and they're sharing a smoke (classic visual sign of "good sex, we're done for the night!"), so if that _was_ meant to be a kink thing, it's both outside of the scene _and_ it's also the wrong way around. Doing something that may cause (temporary) pain is meant to be something the dom is providing the sub, and it's very clear who's who in Blitz and Stolas' routine. Stolas, the sub, stubbing a cigarette out on dom Blitzo's horn, even if he doesn't seem to really notice it (I presume the horns are like animal horns, and probably don't have nerves) is definitely not part of their kink as it stands. Also, while Blitzo is clearly more irritated when Stolas starts pinching his cheek and gets even more baby-talk at him after, the glare starts the second Stolas puts the cig out on his horn. You see his eyebrows draw together and his expression go tight, only growing moreso as the whole thing progresses.

Honestly I blame it on the writing. Stolas just had a very sudden, extreme character change while Blitz remained entirely the same on that front. It was like someone flipping a switch. First half of the show Stolas was the sexual, comedic relief and out of a sudden he became serious.

I feel like that is also just a mistake in communication, I feel like he never meant to be condescending after a while but the style kinda stuck and since Blitz never said anything (for obvious reasons) he assumed Blitz likes it or is at least okay with it. Same thing happened when Stolas confessed to him but in reverse in ep 8 of s2. Just a good example of how you can sometimes be blind to how you're hurting someone important to you because of a lack of communication.

The moment we found out that Stolas had feelings for Blitz he gained a gaggle of fans that conveniently forgot that Blitz is his prostitute, not his boyfriend, and they started judging Blitz for not behaving like a boyfriend, just because they'd become aware of Stolas feelings. I stopped caring for Stolas when I saw how he treated Blitz at Ozzie’s (his peers) vs during the Harvest Moon Festival (Blitz’s “peers”). That and having/abusing imp servants this entire time (specifically up till Full Moon the second most recent episode in the series)
Besides "my impish little plaything", Stolas being mad with Blitzø sending his colleagues to rescue him instead of going himself. Blitzø said him that he can't go save him because he's taking Loona for her S.H.O.T, it makes Stolas look childish. i won't be surprised if he doesn't even remember Moxxie's and Millie's names.
At the end of the day, the only person Stolas really cares about, is Stolas.
He may get upset when Stella calls out his cheating, or Blitzo tells him off, or when Octavia has one of her rebellious episodes, but Stolas will always, always find a way to make it all about how HE feels.

Another thing I want to add on is how stolas doesn’t really care about trying to find out what’s wrong with blitz. When blitz is talking bad about himself, all that stolas does is cry about the fact that he wants someone to care about him in a romantic way. First of all, you’re literally the one who made it all about sex at the start and now you’re crying over the fact that you want romance. Make up your mind. And second of all, blitz has literally just said that stolas deserves better than him. He has literally just witnessed his boyfriend talking bad about himself. It's not Stolas's responsibility to fix Blitzo, especially after getting yelled at. (he is a victim of YEARS of domestic abuse. Wtf do you want from him?) Stolas is DRUNK AF in this, and even then he tries so prove that all these people cared enough to throw the party about hating him. Also, relationships develop overtime. Both sides made it so it would be all about sex, even when stolas tried to develop it.
Small correction, but Blitz was never Stolas boyfriend in any capacity. If you have to pay for someone to fuck you (which Stolas did, even if he paid by giving access to his book instead of cash) then they're not your boyfriend/girlfriend. That's a prostitute, and the show has been relatively upfront with this.

I mean nothing ill by saying this, I'm just a little worried by how many people I've seen over the last few episodes of the show referring to them as boyfriends in the comments. I can't tell if this is because people forget that the relationship was transactional or because they think paying your partner for sex is normal or if there's some other reasoning behind this.

i found it shocking how the show is portraying how “omg look guys!! stolas is standing his ground!! he’s using his words!!” when never before was he using his words. in texts to blitz that are shown on screen in various episodes stolas tries many times to initiate a hangout with blitz but ALWAYS gives blitz the easy way out by saying “but you don’t have to..” but never really reciprocating “but i would like you to.” the one time he does, is in full moon. But since blitzo has never had him actually say this before he is shocked. Not to mention the “words” stolas are using are completely incorrect. Stolas has barely ANYTHING to “stand his ground” from, so it overall makes no sense why he is. If anything, it should be blitz standing his ground. Stolas is so used to being the one in charge, and blitz is so used to just going with it since, i mean, realistically, what can he do?? The whole situation to blitz is: rich prince wants to have sex with me and i get smth for my job in return. It was only an exchange to blitz since stolas never actually outright said “i want a relationship.” what they had is NOT a relationship, and stolas viewing it as such already set him up for failure. I also think it's fair to assume that's what Stolas thinks he's doing in the moment, but from a writers point of view this is probably just setting Stolas up for later episodes where he can have an "oh fuck I am the asshole?" moment and grow as a person.

I once said this in someone else's video, but I have mentioned that one of the biggest reasons to why a whole lot of people in the fandom who are on team Stolas is because in the episode he was all "Oh woe is me, I'm a crying character boo hoo." Most people are always caught up in the feels of an episode/character that they completely forget that the person who they feel bad for can be just as bad as the person that they are putting a lot of hate on. And people are too focused on the cute moments with Stolas that they don't even realize that there are moments where he has said some horrible stuff. A while ago I even watched a short about how they were saying that because Stolas from child to adult has bowed to Blitz, that it must mean that he treats everybody else equally. When that is far from the case because it's only Blitz that he does it to. Not to mention 1:48 -1:54 is a great example on how he doesn't treat everyone equally. Just because he bowed to Blitz doesn't mean he's great with everyone. I also want to believe that when Stolas calls Blitz his cute name Blitzy or talk to him in a baby voice and everything, he believes that's just his way of being flirty and cute and Blitz is just pretending he doesn't like it when he really does, when the reality is that Blitz really does hate it. And let's not forget, as many people who watch TV know being called cute isn't always a compliment. Sometimes it can mean that the person doesn't take you seriously as they should, which is why I don't like being called cute. Some people who are on team Stolas are too hypnotized by him either being cute or sad to realize that he's not as great of a person as people claim him to be or they turn a blind eye because they feel bad for him or that he's so cute that he deserves happiness. This so much I'm really hoping that stolas has another moment with asmodeus on the fact that yeah that deal Stolas made with blitz was out of pocket and basically forced (and we know ozzie is big on consent) and a second call out from his daughter who basically tells him "I knew mom was being toxic but you should have had the nerve to divorce her sooner just like you had the nerve to have an affair. And stop talking about your d*ck appointments at the dinner table its gross."

If she doesn't get over her naivety and realize there is a second side to the divorce dilemma she's going to lose her dad forever. While she has the right to be upset she really needs to stop lashing out at him and realize her mother is just a b*tch who has been using her father as a punching back with deep pockets. That's what I'd like to see from Via.
Asmodeus doesn't even know half the context. Stolas needs someone less judgemental and invasive and superior. Someone in the same shoes as Blitz who have always been there on the sidelines. Cue Millie and Moxxie! They are the perfect duo to talk to Stolas. If anything, Moxxie knows what's it's like to live under the thumb of a dictating father so he can relate. And Millie has always liked Stolas and Blitz together and just wants the best for them. This duo can show Stolas (and Blitz) better than anyone what a healthy relationship looks like and can be.

Stolas and Blitz have had *gradual* growth since the deal was first made or when they reunited. People should realize that they are not the same people as they were in the first few episodes. The overly sexualness was played as jokes, meaning its *exaggerated.* Also Blitz never really said he was uncomfortable with what stolas was saying, that's why it continued on for the first place.

Is the show bending over backwards or is it the fans that are bending to see justifications for their precious bird baby? Because I don't think the show has made any moves to justify his behaviour. At most we got an *explanation* in S2E1 for why he's so fixated on Blitz and why he went to hard on the dirty language for most of S1. That's not really a justification. We've also seen him sad and lonely, but "sad and lonely" also isn't a justification, even if I've certainly seen enough "aww"ing fans that apparently thinks it's a justification.
The show is planned to go on for a long time, and from what I've heard the plot is planned out in full until the end. Unlike with Hazbin, Helluva has enough space that the writers can take their time. With any luck, Stolas' character will get the development and growth he needs.

I will say that at least his actitude changed after the date at Ozzy's, during that episode we see that Stolas actually saw that as an opportunity to improve/advance their relationship, but since Blitz only invited him as a way to get in, and then were publicly shamed by Ozz and Fizz, then all the other episodes they only got together for emergencys, not allowing them to talk or spend time together as a couple, that only happens on the full moon episode where Stolas goes to 100 and demands a response from Blitz.
Thing is it’s obviously fine to think that both are in the wrong, cause they are. But like- Stolas is not this sensitive baby that a lot of fans portray him as 😭

For me the worst thing is the "you're so cute when you are serious" because that wouldn't be ok to say to an actual child, not the professional assassin you have employed to bodyguard you who is trying to establish a professional boundary, especially when your daughter is there and is telling you to shut the fuck up.
A lot of the other shit can be handwaved, I know stolas thinks he's just doing playful banter but that one just feels especially gross.
I want to see more scenes where Stolas interacts with the non Blitzo parts of IMP. Because Blitzo seems to be the only non-servant Imp he has spent extended amounts of time with and someone else set a boundary with him might get him to learn.
I mean, the problem I personally see with the cigarette thing being "part of the kink" is that kink is meant to be reserved for the scenario. They're clearly out of scene and taking a breather, given that Stolas isn't gagged or playing a part and is clearly trying for cuddles, and they're sharing a smoke (classic visual sign of "good sex, we're done for the night!"), so if that _was_ meant to be a kink thing, it's both outside of the scene _and_ it's also the wrong way around. Doing something that may cause (temporary) pain is meant to be something the dom is providing the sub, and it's very clear who's who in Blitz and Stolas' routine. Stolas, the sub, stubbing a cigarette out on dom Blitzo's horn, even if he doesn't seem to really notice it (I presume the horns are like animal horns, and probably don't have nerves) is definitely not part of their kink as it stands.
Also, while Blitzo is clearly more irritated when Stolas starts pinching his cheek and gets even more baby-talk at him after, the glare starts the second Stolas puts the cig out on his horn. You see his eyebrows draw together and his expression go tight, only growing moreso as the whole thing progresses.

It’s annoying it always feels like blitz is always the bad guy obv he’s not, blitz has a right to be pissed off at Stolas FOR TREATING HIM LIKE NOTHING BUT A PLAYTHING.
