no offense, this doesn't really look that impressive in my opinion. The design is kinda like Dualtron. not much unique personality at first sight. There is no "wow" effect that I can say it is one of a kind feelings. The only highlight that I can see is they used carbon fiber in some parts of the scooter. however, the throttle, buttons controller, and stuff are all generic parts like from any other scooter company.😂 The first question that pops into my head is how much the founder pays the team to say so much "wow" for promotion?😅...
I agree that there could be a bit more style to it, but I think they were going for function first. The quality and quantity of carbon on this thing does make you say wow in person though. Component-wise, I hear that the production version is getting Magura brakes. So: adjustable hydraulic suspension, Magura brakes. Split rims with tubless tires (o-rings in the wheels), plus the ability to keep the motors on and swap rim sets without removing, or even deflating the tires. Literally the only components that aren’t wowing me are the typical 11” tires rather than PMT’s. -Paul
I agree it doesn’t really bring that one of a kind feel besides the carbon fiber, but if you want the fastest, this is it now I prefer the hybrids since I off-road a lot wolf kings for me
@@hank01000 For the "speed" thing, everyone wants more and more. however, you can only ride within a comfortable range of speed anyway. If your scooter can go up to 200mph, that will be meaningless to you. After the speed is accomplished in certain levels that every brands are kinda the same, the design of the scooter will get more focused rather than speed itself.
I have a lot of experience racing 1/8th scale electric rc cars. i always raced with full carbon fiber, including frame. i research carbon fiber thoroughly before switching to carbon fiber. i learned quickly that not all carbon fiber is made equally. in researching this scooter, i see immediately, that the highest quality carbon fiber and procedures were utilized in choosing how this scooter will be made. this scooter is stronger and lighter than steel, and screams performance on every level. this scooter is here to stay, built to last, made to perform.
I am skeptical about an all carbon fiber anything. It's not something I'd get for structural rigidity, not when its as expensive to work with as it is. Any defects will not be user serviceable and most shops will probably struggle to be able to do much of anything if any damage occurs. It's cool, but I was hoping they'd steer away from the CF train. Hoping I'm wrong about it, though I suppose we'll see in the coming years.
With a scooter this fast, with 4-cyl brakes, what did they do for rotor thickness? I know on the Inmotion RS the rotors are fairly substantial, but rotor thickness isn't a common spec that's advertised. It seems like on these new generation of super-scooters it would be helpful if we got more detailed specs. When spending $3000-$6000, it is difficult to make a choice on a video alone. Seeing these scooters in the wild is pretty rare.
Great question. Unfortunately the version here have on hand doesn’t have the final set of brakes. We have 4-piston zoom brakes on ours, but the final version will have Magura brakes, from what we hear. I love that the RS has thicker rotors. You can feel it, the wolf king scooters and the GT2 and GT1 are the only scooters we have encountered that use thicker rotors. Less fading, less warping and better overall brake feel. -Paul
The fastest scooter on the planet, for the price, and the most beautiful carbon fiber masterpiece, with front and rear suspension, i have seen. This scooter is next level! setting the standard for carbon fiber perfection, quality, design and strength.
84 volts at 40 Amp Hours is really good. The Inmotion RS i pre ordered from VoroMotors is 72 volts 40 Amp Hours and im hoping to get a decent range with it as well. 74 miles of distance range at 25 miles per hour riding speed is incredible! Now this is something that can definitely replace a car for daily use. The only thing i didnt see is what rider weight was used to determine the range per charge. At my current weight of 292 lbs which is a BIG drop from what i used to weight i can see my self maybe getting 40 to 50 miles range on my RS with Eco mode. This is indeed sick but the price is steep, i still feel its worth it and if i could afford it i would have gotten the Roadster. Good job @voromotors
I've had a go on the RS And compared it with my wolf warrior X Pro I'm not keen on top speed I can go 47 miles on my Warrior X Pro at 20 mph The RS did 68 miles at 20 MPH on a flat trail He is 15 stone 9 pounds who owns it I'm 13 stone 7 on my wolf warrior It is strange how the handlebars angle backwards on the RS I have inmotion S1 They definitely make quality stuff 😎
Looks and performance aside, it comes from factory with steering damper, that is one of the sadest things i have every seen in the scooter industry. Not understanding the underlying issue in design, then wondering why it wobbles and then slapping a bandaid fix (steering damper) on it like clowns. Wow
This is an interesting take. I’ve seen many comments criticizing scooters for not having a damper, but not the other way around. They’ve become fairly common on high performance electric scooters from the Dualtron X limited, all the way down to some of the 10” tire dual motor scooters. I don’t enjoy dampers myself and most of the time they aren’t adding anything to the ride, but they can be really helpful when needed. I took the Roadster to top speed for half a mile yesterday and it was very stable at speed, but I ran out of room and needed to transition from throttle to brakes quickly, and that upset the geometry. I didn’t have the damper set correctly and got a little speed wobble. Nothing terrible, but I was grateful to have the damper. I gave it a few clicks before Mitchell went out and I don’t think he experienced any problems after the adjustment. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Hi Paul, thanks for the long answer. Totally understandable why there are still wobbles. Its only a bandaid fix to dampen the wobbles but not to solve it. Should have used PMT’s. 2) Speaking of rims, are those split rims not going to split under load doing 80 mph on real roads? Are the screws holding the rim gonna hold up to the stress and heat with that speed? 3) PRICE, self explanatory.
Its 84 volts 40 amp hours. The RS is 72 volts and 40 Amp hours and the GTR which is a bit faster than the RS is 72 volts 35 Amp Hours. These are probably going to be the three top class scooters for the price. Except that the Roadster is $5,795.00 😅 the range is supposed to be good though.
