I prefer this type of barn finds videos, even if they won't look 100% perfect afterwards. Because they are usually really old cars and they deserve to be loved again!!! I also think it's awesome to see progress/updates on cars that haven't been able to run. It's totally fine by me that you add extra parts on your vids.
I believe that you should continue doing these barn finds regardless of condition because , more often than not, you’re contributing towards that car/ truck being on the road again. It’s a shame to see these classic rides gathering dust in a dark corner somewhere. They deserve to be seen, admired, and appreciated. So keep doing what you’re doing.
I am 61 years old, in my teens, the undercover cops drove Satelites, and chased down all the Challengers and road runners and Camaros, brings back memories guys, keep it up.
I like the segments with the mechanics. I think polishing a piece of every car to show what it "could" be would be a nice touch as well. I know some of the vehicles can not be saved 100%.
You need to keep saving these cars! Ignore the idiots who don’t understand that you can’t restore 50+ year old paint back to “new” by cleaning and detailing. These cars are beautiful, and they deserve the love you give them. Keep up the great work!
What you guys do is fantastic. Everyone knows the first step in restoration is getting it clean and ready. That's the same if you're just doing an engine rebuild , and you clean the engine compartment and all the parts. Sometimes they do turn out better than others. But it's still the best start for each car to have a chance of restoration. I'm 58, and 2 of the things I enjoy most are remembering working on a lot of the cars and yall's excitement and interest in learning about them. Keep digging!
That makes us feel a lot better :) We get a little down when we find a really cool car and then as we're cleaning and filming, the results aren't what we feel you guys will appreciate
The segment with your car's mechanic is an absolute must, more on him please. Washing the cars is not enough, we do want to see them run and hear them roar. Thank you.
I think the videos with Cleveland P&P are my favorite. I love the collaboration of the detailing and then the mechanics coming in. Reminds me of the old-school Chip foose show and monster garage. The collaboration makes it a full experience and promotes both of your channels
I appreciate the efforts even on the “less than perfect” endings. If nothing else you provide the owners with a great starting point, and us with inspiration, and good entertainment. Keep up the good work!
It has been such a pleasure to work the WD boys! It warms my heart to see so many positive comments regarding their visits to our shop. Thank you to everyone who is tuning in to these awesome adventures.
Seriously guys you keep doing what you’re doing and whatever the results are or the results that’s all there is to it. You make that car run and it moves on its own power then you’ve done what you said to do that is an accomplishment.
You should keep doing these videos. The results are a considerable improvement over what you started with, and these cars deserved to be shown some love.
I'm not worried about 100% perfection. Because in reality, nothing is 100% PERFECT, especially something like this. The imperfections make it even better and unique. I love your content and wouldn't want it any other way!!! I also really enjoyed the break with Adam working on the Iroc! Loyal viewers, like myself, who keep up with the cars and want to know the outcome would like an update on them, just like with the Iroc in this video.
Love the barn finds, especially those that have a chance at a new life! Updates on past cars would be great. I always wonder what happens to them. Thanks guys!
I think these videos make this channel more honest than the others I watch. It’s hard to believe that there are millions of cars in barns that are concourse ready after a wash and buff and fluff. Keep it up and keep it real please.
Ditto on what a lot of people are saying about keep on doing these barn finds… Sometimes the wonky paint even adds to the charm of these older cars. Also it’s really cool to get updates on cars from previous videos, but maybe the cars that go to Power and Performance are just cars you find interesting and want to follow up on… restoration definitely takes time and I love the weekly content!
Satellite?! Good luck on this detail: Brent, Mike & RJ. Give this ride a thorough clean it never saw coming. Best transformation ever, good luck on more transformation.
My buddy had a 71 Satellite with a 440 in it. Boy was it bad ass. It was a racer, back roads. I just love the look of these types of cars. Like always you guys brought some pride back to this car.
I love these videos. It really doesn't matter too much about the paint quality, you guys are giving these amazing classic cars a second chance at life or being restored again. If you don't dig them up, they sit there and rot until they are too far gone.
Keep showing attempts to get them running. Always interested to see updates and follow-up to the previous cars. Especially that Miata, would love to know what that family did with it. There are 100’s of detailing guys on YT, you guys have the personality and style to keep me watching. Updates and fixing them will be the icing on the cake
I read a few comments to see if others were articulating the same thoughts as I and - indeed - they are. I *also* feel like these “less-than-perfect” cars - and results - are great. This is an important first step to build upon. The cleaning process breathes new life into these classic vehicles and prepares them to be elevated to the next level(s). Also, I love the updates! Keep up the great work, gentlemen! 🙌❤️ “BIG GUNS” 💪💪 was a nice surprise, by the way. Please keep him around. 😌 P.S. I love that you guys wear masks when dealing with certain car interiors. The gloves are great too. Your health is your wealth and we don’t want you breathing in stuff that could make you sick (or have you absorbing products through your skin; another potential health hazard).
To Mike the owner of the cars, THANK YOU for letting the viewers enjoy your collection. Every car you have has special meaning to you and I look forward to seeing more in the future videos here on the WD Detailing channel ❤
First time viewer here. Just wanted to say what you guys do is badass!! Restoration doesn’t need to be 100% factory new. Just taking something with so much history and giving it life again is enough. Keep them coming guys. My fiancé uncle has a 443 cutlass that needs a makeover and new front windshield. She’s pretty dirty. I’ll send over and email and photos.
This type of stuff is very ASMR, please don't stop. Yes, it's awesome when a super rare/cool/interesting car turns out minty fresh, but this is sweet to watch, too. And the update idea is nice, please continue. 😊🎉
Ok. Big Guns needs to become a recurring character on the Channel. He doesn't have to be in every episode, but we definitely need to see him more often. Hey, maybe do some spin-off videos of Big Guns doing Garage workouts. 💪💪
Many RUclips content creators are doing ads and more talking, (like that's what everybody enjoys). This one is 10:15 in before the talking is about the process. I liked the videos the way the way they were done a couple of months ago. Comedy is harder than you think. The usual ratio is footage shot and footage used is 10 to 1. 90% on the editing room floor when done editing comedy motion pictures.
So I can say this for all your viewers, we all need to have and continue seeing you guys detail the awesome vehicles you find. But maybe in the near future a second Chanel can exist with the help of your tech partners to get some of the cars you have worked on cleaning and try getting them fired up. Guys either way you're awesome and we love watching you.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! The cars in that era do NOT all look alike!!! The cars now a days all look alike... These cars look soooooo much better! Not to mention my neighbor has this same Plymouth and in the original yellow color and it's beautiful. You gotta remember in that time Plymouth's and Dodge's all had loud and wild paint jobs. When you bought these cars then that's how you knew you were the king of the hill.. These cars made a statement when driving down the street...More so when you have a bigger motor then ford and Chevrolet...
I agree, they didn't all look alike, they may have had the same styling model to model but in different trim packages: Satellite, Satellite Sebring, Satellite Sebring Plus, The Road runner and the GTX all looked alike, but were trimmed out differently. This generation of Satellite looked nowhere near other B bodies: Dodges Charger & Coronet. Challengers and and Barracudas were E bodies
@@Master_customs IMHO, the cars weren't styled for art sake, but with the theme of muscle cars. It was not intended to be aerodynamic but approached speed through brute force: Cubic Inch Displacement. I will agree though, looking back, these cars are like looking at art. Your new helper Big Guns didn't seem to have too much trouble picking up those front seats. Maybe if he could somehow get a gym membership he could bulk up a little bit and maybe even advance to picking up the back seat. 😏😉
Yes keep adding the mechanic updates!!!! Love the work you guys do!!! Keep doing the barn finds, they need to be saved and put back on the road even if they are in less than pristine condition. The fact they survive and have a chance at a new life is awesome.
Keep doing all cars like this. The aim, after all, is to make them the best they can be for the condition they are in after all the years. They were never (show car condition cars maybe) perfect from the factory. The smiles you put on owners' faces after their children arrange a detail like this are brilliant, and being able to get a car running and driving is the icing on the cake when its possible. Any car that I have seen you guys clean so far has been worth the time. Classics are always classics, maybe cleaning as best that you can will interest someone into restoring the vehicle. Please keep up the great work.

That was my Dad dream car , Thank you so much for sharing this with us , keep up the great job buddy
That car will do 150 with no problem add a 72 charger had a buried past 150
What's he going to do with the charger
Yes, but just clean it and if possible start the engine.
I found 3 dead mice in my 1983 firebird

Why can i never find a bar find 😢😢
Thank you! To anyone that agrees, like this comment :)
I agree... But you don't always have to find just the ones with next to perfect bodies
Not sure about Big Guns, though. He seems a bit... roid rage'y. 😂

Beautiful car
There are enough channels showcasing super expensive or mundane vehicles. Keep doing your thing with these barn finds!
Thank you! That gives us a lot of motivation!
It doesn't matter if it's perfect. Just that someone cares to keep these alive and on the road.
I really like this format of "clean a new car, follow up with the car from last week." Thanks for the great content!😊
It’s not a proper before and after if you don’t polish. The owners plans don’t align with what this channel should be providing

Keep doing these videos. It’s authentic. Not every barn find turns out to be in concourse condition.
I like how you incorporate updates on the engine work from the mechanics party. I think it adds a nice touch to your detailing videos.

I am loving the relationship with power and performance. I very much enjoyed the update from Adam.
Love the updates on previous cars
I enjoyed that segment where he showed the progress he made on your third gen Camaro. You should keep those in the videos.

Yeah keep doing the update videos definitely like to see these cars get a little more than clean
