Some more information on the Green light on the badge as my comment did sound misleading. It essentially means it’s telling you that your high voltage battery is lending some juice to the 12v battery
I’ve had kona electric 64kw Battery in the premium trim . Having had the car for 3 weeks now I have to say I really really love ❤️ it . It’s so easy to drive . It’s not huge but the boot can fit my Nan’s wheelchair in and it’s not a small chair . I will say if I have the chair I tend to put my shopping in the back seat area , but am used to doing that anyway in my Vauxhall Astra . This car is lovely the drive is quiet and it’s fast the tech available in the car is brilliant and I love the wireless charging pad leaving the USB ports free for others to use . The arm rest storage is massive I usually put my handbag in there no problem. Out of a score of. 10 it’s definitely an 8 from me
Hi Sarah, do you still have your Kona? I’ve just bought a 22 model 64kwh in ultimate trim in the surfy blue and absolutely love it. I’m getting 300 miles for a full charge which is plenty for me. 😃
@@wokeupandsmellthecoffee214 yes 👍🏻 I still have my Kona and I absolutely love that car 🚙 I also have the same colour and trim they might be twins 🚙🚙. Yes the 300 miles is plenty honestly it’s so much cheaper than my old petrol car and I wouldn’t change it now anything else.
If you'd used the Drive Mode button to select Sport mode, you would absolutely have spun out the front tyres when launching. It would also be far faster from a standing start and even more rapid when putting your foot down on the open road. And I do mean force-you-back-into-your-seat rapid. Shame you missed out on the fun.
In Continental Europe, they sell a Kona N Line with 198 horsepower from a 1.6 TGDi. However, unlike North America, South Korea and Australia, they don’t get the AWD version.
When I start the ioniq I immediately turn off the fake noise, so annoying. Only if pedestrians are walking near me I turn it on. It's the same in the Kona
Bit of a strange looking car this and I'm not too sure on it tbh. That front end at 3:30 reminds me of Destiny from Finding Dory. Nevertheless, cool video. I'm waiting for your Kona N video, hurry up already! :-)
The little green light is to tell you when the big traction battery is topping up the 12v battery 🔋 (Where on earth did you get the info that said it was to tell you when the motor is hot 🔥 ? Someone is pulling you leg and having a laugh!)

Yes you do have a point! Only had 30 minutes with the car :(

It pretty much means the same thing Rich
@@ArmaganDemiral I thought you said the little light in the badge lights when the electric motor is too hot 🔥 ?
@@richardhaywoodh you could be right, my comment does sound misleading. I’ll address it in the comments section
@@richardhaywoodh cheers rich, made a pinned comment to correct
Is this Surfey blue colour or Dive in Jeju colour?? Thanks..
I couldn’t find the name of the colours on the Hyundai website but I’d say it’s just a baby blue colour
