Cool reaction. Galneryus is the best live. I recommend “Destiny” live or “Brutal Spiral of Emotions” . The leader and main composer of the band is guitarist Syu. They are not a Visual kei band, that is, a band whose visual side is very exposed and is a kind of visual system. If you want to see a Visual kei band with a symphonic sound, I recommend Versailles - “Faith & Decision” live. If you prefer something heavier and darker is the GazettE - “UNDYING”.
brutal spiral of emotion, The force of Courage, Check these tracks out the live version. Check the Music video for - Destiny, Whatever it takes(raise our hands), Let us shine. This is a phenomenal band, and a really underrated one.
I wouldn't pick Angel of Salvation as first unless you take the full 14 minutes version or the live version with the string orchestra just because you didn't get the whole song but I couldn't tell you what pick should be better; what I can tell you it's this is a 2001 band still active and I could recommend you my pick for the last 2 albums wich is Let Us Shine (more in an 80s Hard Rock Glam Metal side of Power Metal): ruclips.net/video/Iq6MtiANS38/видео.html
Visual Kei was invented by X Japan, and inspired by KISS and Glam Rock/Metal. A lot of Japanese bands have this style they pick an image and base their songs and performances on it.... See Versailles...they are Baroque Era Vampires who wear French Rococo inspired outfits ... watch the music video for Revenant Choir. This tells their story.
Note this is a wedding chapel not a church and is use in many Japanese Metal videos Aldious Dominator Versailles Aristocrats Symphony Lovebites Glory to the World.
Japanese schools require 8 yrs of English, but their English Education is not that good, so while most Japanese are generally familiar with English you will hear it in lots of songs but the pronunciation is not that good.

The live is so much better.

You got to check out Versailles Faith and Decision live with English Subtitles
That look in Japan is called Visual Kei. The drummer is in Unlucky Morpheus now.
