Syu is a guitar virtuoso, amazing clean and melodic guitar playing with a lot of progressive element and amazing composition and songwriting, I would recommend you watch their live performances, they are all 100 times better live This song is actually a 16 minutes song, the music video just had a shortened version of the song which is why it fades out in the end (and the solo is shortened).
Galneryus has done heaps of amazing songs also for the first half of the band they had a different vocalist YAMA-B and their style evolves and changes throughout the years. So some good songs I would recommend are the force of courage, raise my sword, angel of salvation, brutal spiral of emotions, whatever it takes (raise our hands), T.F.F.B, destiny, hunting for your dream, ultimate sacrifice, everlasting, whisper in the red sky, struggle for the freedom flag, united flag, the flag of reincarnation, and chasing the wind.

First of all been watching a few of your buckethead reactions, and did not expect Galneryus to come up any time soon haha, for me syu and buckethead are some of my favourite guitarists, the guitar syu is using in this video is one of his signature guitars from ESP this one being the crying star classic, syu has never been apart of unlucky Morpheus, Fuki has been a guest vocalist on the song reason from his solo album vorvados (which btw you definitely have to check out, one of my favourite guitar solos from syu, such an epic song), but the drummer Fumiya which replaced the drummer from this video (Jun-ichi) for a few years while still being with unlucky Morpheus before deciding to go full time with UM not long ago. Also galneryus are one of those bands that just sound better live, and plus you don’t have to deal with music videos getting cut and shortened like with this example the song is cut in half
Those are regular EMG pickups with some kind of vintage-style cover on them. He does have some fancy coil tapping bells and whistles on this guitar to make it sound a bit unique.
If you type in Syu Esp guitar, a lot of videos of him just playing with a backing track will come up. My favorite is Esp Crying V demonstration, not sure of the song name but killer riffs and solos and it's not Power Metal.
